Connection

Using Docking Station

1. Turn on the computer and start Windows.
2. Connect the USB Type-C connector of this product to the USB Type-C port of the PC.
   • Please insert firmly.
3. Connect U Disk or USB devices to the USB port of this product.
4. Check whether the USB chip can be read under the USB menu on the device manager.

Connecting to an HDMI device

1. Television/Projector, etc.
2. HDMI Cable(Don’t include HDMI Cable)
   • Supported only for Type-C port corresponding to each output.

Connecting a TF card

Connecting a TF card(micro SD card)/SD card

Connecting way:
Insert the card into TF card slot / SD card slot of this product. Push in until you hear a click. If you want to take it out, push it in again.

• The SD&TF card slots can’t be used at the some time.

Charging your computer

   You can charge a Windows PC by connecting a genuine AC adapter to the PD charging port.

   • Supported only for Type-C ports that support PD agreements and adapters that support PD agreements.
   • Be sure to connect an AC adapter.

Common problems and important notes

EthernetPort:

1. If the computer isn’t recognizing the Ethernet port, Please confirm if your laptop has read the network chip of our hub. You can check the product’s network chip in the network menu on the laptop’s device manager.

HDMI Port:

1. The HDMI cable connected to this interface needs to use HDMI 2.0 standard cable or higher standard cable, and the length should not exceed 2 meters as much as possible.

2. The screen flickers or has snowflakes when transmitting video via HDMI.
   Reason:
   There is a problem with your HDMI cable, please replace the HDMI cable.

3. The 4K resolution required 4k Source from equipment, Output display.

4. Why not support video signal transmission?

Reason:
Whether video transmission is possible depends on whether your device has a full-function type-c port(that is, a type-c port that supports Display Port Alt Mode). Then on-full-function type-C port only supports data transmission and charging.

Note: All mobile phones of Xiao mi and Red mi don’t have a full-function type-c port.

PD Charging Port:

1. The charger of the IPad is generally an 18W adapter, and the product needs to consume the current of the adapter so that the Pad can not be successfully charged when the original adapter Pad is used. It is recommended to use a 45W adapter to charge the iPad.
2. The type-c port of your device and the charger has to support the PD protocol(USB Power Delivery)to charge successfully. Support up to 100w.

USB 3.0 port:

1. Don’t recommend charging iPads, tablets, or smartphones via USB ports.
2. The USB ports are intended for data transfer.
3. Both wireless mouse receivers and WIFI receivers will have interference problems with our products, so try to stay away from WIFI sources and wireless mouse receivers.
4. When connecting a USB device, check whether the USB chip can be read under the USB menu on the device manager.

TF slot &SD slot:

1. The SD&TF card slots can’t be used at the same time.

Others:

1. For a stable connection, connected devices should not exceed a combined current of 900mA. (Total of all ports).
2. Because high-power devices consume more current, not intended for use with gaming devices and high-power devices (external hard drives/Pad Pro 2018/Mojave/Nintendo Switch/Apple USB Super Drive etc.) or adding an extra extension cable for the hub as it can causes low transmission, HDMI port not being recognized, or other connective issues.
