How to attach the strap

The strap of the Oslo smartwatch is detachable, which allows it to be taken out for cleaning to ensure proper maintenance. However, Ksix does not provide interchangeable straps compatible with this model.

The shorter strap must be placed in the slot over the display and the longer strap in the slot under the display, otherwise the insertion system may be irreparably damaged.

  1. To place a strap: hold the strap, insert it into the corresponding slot. Slide one end of the metal part into the hole on its side. Do the same with the other end.
  2. To remove a strap: hold the strap and slide the metal piece out of its hole.

Charging

The full charge time of the Oslo smartwatch ranges from 2 to 3 hours and the battery can last up to 5 days depending on usage.

Use the cable with a built-in wireless charging base that comes in the box in order to charge.

Make sure that the charging base is dry before you start charging.

To charge the device, connect the wireless charger to a power adapter or to the USB-A port of your computer or any other compatible device. Place the watch face on top of the spherical wireless charger and make sure that the Oslo display shows the charging icon.

Power on/of

To turn on the smartwatch, press the lower button for two seconds.

If you want to turn of the smartwatch after it has been turned on, press the lower button fortwo seconds. To continue using the watch, tap on the “X” or press the upper button.

You can also turn it from the “Settings” section in the main menu or by swiping your finger to the right and tapping on the “Power of” icon.

Initial setup

MACTIVE PRO

  1. Access your device’s Bluetooth settings and turn on.
  2. Download the MActive Pro app.
  3. Follow the app instructions and create a profile.

You can also download the app directly from your App Store or Google Play.

Note: If your smartphone is not paired with the smartwatch, access your mobile phone’s settings and check if it is paired with the smartwatch. Access your mobile phone’s settings and check if the Oslo signal is available. If it is listed, the signal is not working properly. Check if the smartwatch has been paired with other smartphones before. In case it is paired with another smartphone, tap on Settings on your smartphone and check if the Oslo signal is there. If it is, it means that there is no problem with the signal. Check if the watch has been paired with other smartphones and unpair them. Users of IOS devices should tap on Settings – ignore this device and then pair it.

Pairing IOS devices

  1. Turn on your smartphone’s Bluetooth.
  2. Access your smartphone’s settings and look for the “OSLO” option on the list. Once selected, the icon on your smartphone will change and a paired string will appear.
  3. Open the app and select “Device”. Then select “Add new device”.
  4. Choose the “OSLO” device that will appear on the list.
  5. A confirmation message will appear on the smartwatch display in order to synchronize it with your smartphone. Allow the synchronization.
  6. A pairing message may pop up on your device’s display. Allow the pairing.
  7. Accept all notification permissions requested by the smartwatch.

Pairing Android devices

  1. Activate your smartphone’s Bluetooth.
  2. Open the app and select “Device”. Then select “Add new device”.
  3. Choose the device “OSLO” from the list. Once selected, your smartwatch’s icon will change, and a paired string will appear.
  4. A pairing message may pop up on your device’s display. Allow the pairing.
  5. Accept all notification permissions requested by the smartwatch.

Troubleshooting

  • If the app does not find the device: try pressing the device button. If the screen is not on, you can connect the device to charge it.
  •  If the device connects and disconnects rapidly: there may be an obstruction between the device and the phone. Wearing metal jewelry may interfere with the stability of the connection.
  • If the device cannot be charged, it may be due to a dirty or rusted charging port.

Features

The Oslo smartwatch includes several features related to health and daily life.

Home screen access

Depending on the theme you have on your screen you can access some features directly from the home screen by tapping on their icons. These are features such as alarm, sleep analysis, heart rate meter, calories burned, pedometer and mileage.

Screen swipe access

Swipe your finger to the right to access the quick access menu where you will find the features you have previously used and which you can access rapidly. Swipe to the left to rapidly access the heart rate meter (swipe once), pedometer, calories burned, mileage (swipe twice), and sleep analysis (swipe three times). You can add features such as sport modes, weather, calculator and music player by swiping left four times and tapping on the (+) icon.

Swipe up to see notifications. To return to the home screen, swipe down.

Swipe down to rapidly access other features: connection, product information, QR code, brightness control and settings. Swipe left to access other features: self-draining, bedside lamp mode, theme change, SOS alert and NFC.

Upper button access

Press this button to access the menu where all the smartwatch features will be displayed.

Lower button access

Press this button to lock the screen. Press and hold for two seconds to turn the device of.

Make/answer/reject calls

Before using these features, ensure that the app has granted all call permissions and that the incoming call and contact synchronization options have been activated.

Receiving calls

It is very important to have the incoming calls feature activated in order to receive incoming calls. Calls will appear in real time on the display and the watch will vibrate.

Calls can be accepted or rejected from the watch by tapping on the green and red button respectively.

In case the call is accepted, it can be ended by tapping on the red button. If the call is rejected, a call notification will pop up on your smartwatch’s display.

If the incoming calls feature is not activated, the smartwatch will only display notifications about incoming calls, it will neither give real-time signals nor vibrate.

Making calls

There three available options when it comes to making calls:

Call a contact : The smartwatch can store a list of contacts previously chosen from the app. To create the watch’s contact list, open the app and select “Top Contacts”. Then select the “+” sign to import the contacts from your phone’s contact list. Once the list has been updated access the “Contacts” feature to start automatic synchronization. Then, select the contact you want to call, and the call will start automatically. Tap on the red button to end the call.

Call history: Access the “Call History” feature. Select a contact and call. Tap on the red
button to end the call.

Dialer: Dial the number you want to call from the “Dialpad” feature and tap on the green
button to start the call. Tap on the red button to end the call.

Voice assistants

There are several ways to activate the voice assistants:

  • Press and hold the upper button for 3 seconds and the voice assistant will be activated.
  • Via quick access menu by swiping the home screen to the right.
  • Via general menu by tapping on the “Voice Assistant” icon.

To configure the voice assistants correctly, the smartwatch must have been successfully synchronized with a smartphone via the MActive Pro app and all accesses must have been enabled.

Changing the watch theme

The smartwatch comes with several options when it comes to displaying themes. When in the home screen, swipe down and then to the right to access the “Change theme” feature.

You can also access this feature from the general menu.

You can access many more wallpaper options that are continuously updated via the app.

Sports

With the Oslo smartwatch you can select an infinite number of sports to monitor: climbing, yoga, biking, basketball, tennis, skiing, boxing, weightlifting, etc.

Select the “Sport” feature from the general menu or the quick access menu and search for the kind of sport that you want to practice.

You can also select the sport feature from the mobile App in the “Sport” section.

Each mode measures the time elapsed, calories burned, and heart rate adapted to each of the activities offered. The data will be saved after each session.

24-hour heart rate

The Oslo smartwatch can track your heart rate throughout the day. Swipe left once to measure your heart rate and view the historical data. You can also find this feature from the general menu or the quick access menu by tapping on the heart.

The heart rate will be measured automatically, and the results will appear on the screen within a few seconds.

Link the App, activate the automatic measuring every 30 minutes and view the detailed heart rate monitoring data from the main screen or in the “Device” section.

My watch does not measure heart rate

The watch may not be receiving a proper heart rate signal. In this case, the heart rate meter will stay at zero and, after a few seconds, a message will appear for you to try again later. If this happens, make sure that the watch is properly adjusted and adjust it so that it is properly positioned and securely fastened to your wrist. Once the watch is set, you will automatically get the data when you enter the heart rate monitoring feature.

Blood pressure

Look for the “Blood pressure” (thermometer) feature from the general menu or the quick access menu to start measuring your blood pressure. This feature will always display the last measured values and by swiping up you can the historical data.

Blood oxygen

Look for the “Blood oxygen” (O2) feature from the general menu or the quick access menu. This feature will always display the latest measurement values and by swiping up you can view the historical data.

Activate the application and view detailed blood oxygen data over time from the main screen.

Electrocardiogram

Look for the “ECG” (Vital Signs) feature from the general menu or the quick access menu to start measuring the electrical activity of your heart. This feature will always display the latest measured values.

Link the app and view the detailed ECG data from the main screen.

Calorie, pedometer and mileage tracking

The smartwatch tracks your daily physical activity automatically. It can count and calculate the calories you burn, the number of steps you have taken and your mileage.

Select the activity wheel from the general menu, from the quick access menu or by swiping left twice.

You can also link the app and view detailed calories, pedometer and mileage data from the main screen.

Sleep monitor

The Oslo smartwatch features while you sleep, and provides sleep time and sleep quality data on the display and on the app.

Select the “Sleep” feature from the general menu or the quick access menu. You can also find this feature directly by swiping left three times from the home screen of the smartwatch.

Via the app you will be able to keep a closer track of your sleep from the main screen in the “Sleep” section.

Breathing training

Perform breathing exercises with the help of your smartwatch by selecting the “Breathe” feature from the general menu or the quick access menu.

To start the breathing exercises, tap on the blue icon. You can select the desired time and speed to perform these exercises.

Follow the breathing instructions given by the watch in order to perform the exercise correctly

Weather

The weather feature displays meteorological information.

Look for the “Weather” feature from the general menu or the quick access menu to consult it.

For the forecast to be successful, you must have activated this option via the “Device” app tab in the corresponding section, allowing access to the data on your cell phone.

Music player

After linking your device, you will be able to control your phone’s music player.

Select the “Music” feature from the general menu or the quick access menu. This feature will allow you to change tracks, pause, play, skip songs ahead and back.

Notifications and alerts

The device can synchronize incoming notifications from Instagram, YouTube, Messenger, Gmail, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, etc. You can enable and disable incoming notifications via app in the “Messages notifications” section. Swipe up to see notifications for your messages and apps. You can also find them from the general menu or the quick access menu by tapping on the message icon.

Remote camera control

You can take photos from your cell phone with the help of your smartwatch. Access the app, in the device section, and tap on “Photo” and enable the quick access.

To take photos you will need to access the “Camera Control” feature from within the main menu or the quick access menu. To take the picture simply tap on the camera icon.

Password lock

You can create a password so that you are the only person who can access the smartwatch.

To set a password, access the “PIN Lock” feature from the general menu or the quick access menu. Once inside, enable this feature and choose your desired password. You will be able to enable and disable it at any time.

Do not disturb mode

Access the “Do Not Disturb” feature from the general menu or the quick access menu to enable or disable this mode.

When the mode is enabled, no notifications or alerts will be displayed.

Self-draining

Its IP68 protection allows this smartwatch to be submerged under water for a maximum of 30 minutes at a maximum depth of 1 meter. To ensure its preservation, the smartwatch includes the self-draining option, which flushes out any amount of water that may have entered the device.

You can activate this feature by tapping on the water drop icon from the general menu or the quick access menu.

Other features

The Oslo smartwatch also offers other features such as: alarm, timer, phone finder, stopwatch, flashlight, wrist massage, calculator, NFC and much more.

Exemption clause

  1. The Oslo smartwatch heart rate and blood pressure data should not be used as the basisfor any medical or diagnostic decisions.
  2. Only qualified medical personnel can diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease and high blood pressure problems. Contact your medical center for a medical opinion, and do not treat or diagnose yourself.
  3. The Oslo smartwatch heart rate and blood pressure data may not be accurate due to factors such as signal interference, improper placement of the device, or weather or physiological changes.
  4. Do not use Oslo smartwatch data to modify your medication or medical treatment. Follow the instructions provided by authorized medical personnel.
  5. We take no responsibility for the inaccuracy of the above, nor do we assume any liability for the consequences of the use of such information.

Maintenance recommendations

  • Clean the product regularly with a dry cloth. The product should be unplugged or switched of when cleaning.
  • Keep the ports and connectors of the product clean from dust, dirt, etc., to ensure proper connection.
  • Avoid breaking the product. Do not place objects on it or bend it with excessive force.
  • If the product has a cable, do not bend it and do not stretch it with excessive force to avoid damaging it.
  • Do not wet or submerge the product more than recommended. Always keep the product in a dry place away from moisture.
  • When not in use, store the product in a clean, dry place away from moisture and dirt.
  • If water enters the product, immediately disconnect it from any power source or device to which it is connected.
  • Avoid bumps and drops that could damage the product.
  • Do not use the product for any purpose other than that for which it was designed.
  • Recycle the product in accordance with local environmental standards and regulations
