Charging the Cordless Vacuum Cleaner
- Slide the main unit of the appliance onto the wall mount holder to charge.
- You can also place the mains charger adaptor into the battery unit and not use the wall mount holder to charge.
- You can also remove the battery unit from the main unit by pressing the grey button and not using the wall mount holder to charge.

Answer:
- Check that the mains charger adaptor is plugged in correctly and is switched on at the mains wall socket.

Answer:

AC ADAPTOR – CHARGER
- Only use the adaptor supplied by Lakeland.
- The AC adaptor has been designed for a specific voltage. Always check that the mains voltage is the same as that stated on the rating plate.
- An adaptor that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack. Never use an adaptor from another appliance to attempt to charge this appliance.
- Before use, check the adaptor cord for signs of damage or aging. A damaged or entangled cord increases the risk of fire and electric shock.
- Never carry the charger by the cord and DO NOT pull the cord to disconnect from a socket.
- Keep the charger cord away from hot surfaces and sharp edges.
- The supply cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged the charger should be discarded and replaced.
LI-ION BATTERY SAFETY
- This appliance includes Li-Ion batteries; DO NOT incinerate batteries or expose them to high temperatures, as they may explode.
- DO NOT expose the battery pack to excessive shock, this may result in leakage of the electrolyte solution which could cause personal injury.
- Leaks from the battery cells can occur under extreme conditions. DO NOT touch any liquid that leaks from the battery. If the liquid gets on the skin wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, flush them immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of it immediately under local regulations.
- DO NOT short the battery terminals as this may cause burns or fire.
- When disposing of the appliance remove the battery and dispose of the battery safely under local regulations.
USING YOUR CORDLESS VACUUM CLEANER FOR THE FIRST TIME
Unpack the appliance, and remove all of the packaging materials.
INSTALLING THE WALL-MOUNT CHARGING UNIT
- Remove the wall mounting plate from the back of the wall mount charging unit, by pulling down on the wall mounting plate.
- On a well-maintained wall, near a wall socket, attached the wall mounting plate at an appropriate height, screws are provided.
- TIP: You may wish to use plastic wall plugs designed for use in masonry walls. If uncertain about the appropriate wall plugs for your specific wall type, consult with a professional for guidance.
- The installer bears responsibility for any product failure resulting from the use of incorrect fixings.
- Important: Before drilling into walls, ensure there are no concealed wires or pipes. Verify that the screws and wall plugs selected are appropriate for securely supporting the appliance.
- If uncertain, seek guidance from a qualified tradesperson.
- Insert the wall mount charging unit downwards onto the wall mounting plate until it clicks into place.
- Insert the mains charger adaptor into the bottom of the wall-mount charging unit.
- When the mains charger adaptor is not in use charging up the appliance it can also be wound around the back of the wall mount holder.
- The crevice tool and 2-in-1 tool will click into the base of the wall mount holder for easy and convenient storage.
CHARGING THE CORDLESS VACUUM CLEANER
- Place the mains charger adaptor into the electrical wall power socket and switch it on.
- Only use the mains charger adaptor which is supplied with the appliance.
- Fully charge the appliance before first use.
- There are three ways in which you can charge the Cordless Vacuum Cleaner.
- Slide the main unit of the appliance onto the wall mount holder to charge.
- You can also place the mains charger adaptor into the battery unit and not use the wall mount holder to charge.
- You can also remove the battery unit from the main unit by pressing the grey button located here and not use the wall mount holder to charge.
- Insert the mains charger adaptor directly into the battery.
- During charging the battery, in any of the three ways, the battery charging light here will flash.
- NOTE: If you are charging the battery by this method, you will not see when it is fully charged as the display is on the main unit, which is not attached.
- It takes approximately 3 to 5 hours to fully charge the battery, when fully charged the display panel will show ‘100% Charged’, during charging this will count up the %. Also, the light on the battery by the battery release button will flash.
- The appliance cannot be activated during the charging process.
- When fully charged the appliance will work for approximately 100 minutes of running time, depending on power setting.
- When the appliance is charging, it will not work.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- The appliance should only be used if it has been completely and correctly assembled.
- To ensure the best performance regularly check and clean the accessory attachments and aluminium tube.
- When you switch on the vacuum cleaner for the first time you may notice a slight burning smell, this is normal for a new appliance and will stop after a few uses.
INTENDED USE
- DO NOT use the appliance to suck up the following.
- Liquids or wet substances (e.g. wet carpet shampoo).
- Glowing ash, cigarette ends, matches, and the like.
- Inflammable or explosive substances.
- Very fine dust (e.g. concrete dust), ash, or toner.
- Pointed, hard objects such as large pieces of broken glass.
LEVELS OF POWER SPEED SETTINGS
- The Cordless Vacuum Cleaner has 4 levels of power speed settings.
- To change between the different levels of power, when the appliance is turned on and running, press the dark grey button on the display panel, until the desired power speed setting is selected.
- Keep pressing the button to cycle through the settings.
- The ‘AUTO’ setting can ONLY be used with the floor brush attachment and is the default setting, it will change speeds between carpet and hard flooring.
- For all of the other accessories, the default setting is ‘MED’.
A GUIDE TO RUNNING TIMES PER SETTING
- AUTO’ approximately 35 minutes.
- ECO’ approximately 100 minutes.
- MED’ approximately 35 minutes.
- MAX’ approximately 10 minutes
MAIN OPERATION
- When the appliance is assembled with an accessory attached press the power trigger located on the inside of the handle and the appliance will start to run.
- The default setting is ‘AUTO’ when the floor brush is attached.
- To change the power speed settings, press the dark grey button on the display panel, whilst the appliance is running until the desired speed setting is selected.
- Guide the appliance slowly over the surface to be cleaned.
- To stop the appliance, press the power trigger again.
- Always empty the dust container after each use.
- During operation, please pay attention to the display panel, it will show the time left to run in minutes along with the power speed setting, the time will gradually reduce as the battery power reduces.
- NOTE: The remaining time left to run will vary depending on which power setting is selected.
- The appliance will stop working automatically when there is no power left.
ATTACHING THE ACCESSORIES
- The accessories can be attached in two ways, they can either be attached to the aluminium tube and then this can be attached to the main unit.
- Or the accessories can be attached directly to the main unit.
- Floor brush – to be used for cleaning carpets and hard flooring.
- Mattress and stairs brush – to be used for cleaning mattresses and stairs, for best results attach this directly to the main unit.
- Crevice tool – is good for in difficult places and small gaps.
- 2-in-1 tool – is good for cleaning curtains, carpets, and upholstery.

- Check that both filters are not heavily clogged, if they are clogged, remove the filters and clean them.
- The suction opening may be blocked, remove any obstruction.
- Remove the aluminum tube and check for blockages, ensure the aluminum tube is clear.
- The power speed setting may be too low for the task, increase the power speed setting.
Question: Why during vacuum cleaning is there an unpleasant smell?
- Answer: When you switch on the vacuum for the first time you may notice a slight burning smell, this is normal for a new appliance and will stop after a few uses.

Error 1| The life of the battery is about ended and the battery needs to be
replaced.
Error 2| The NTC sensor has failed and the battery will need to be replaced or
handed over to a professional for maintenance.
Error10| The signal wire of the suction motor is faulty and needs to be
repaired by a professional.
Error11| The main unit cannot work and needs to be repaired by a professional.
Error12| If the input current is too large or the floor brush or mattress and
stairs brush has failed, it needs to be handed over to a professional for
maintenance.
Error13| The battery pack is not installed correctly, so it needs to be
reinstalled. Press the battery release button, remove the battery pack, and
reinstall, it until it clicks into place. If the battery pack is installed in
place and the error code is still showing it needs to be maintained by a
professional.
Error14| The floor brush roller is not working when it is installed in the
floor brush, there is a power fault, which needs to be repaired by a
professional.
Error 60| The wireless module is faulty and needs to be repaired by a
professional.
Error 104| The charging current is too large and the mains charger adaptor has
failed. The main charger adaptor needs to be replaced.
Error 105| The charging voltage is too high and the mains charger adaptor has
failed. The main charger adaptor needs to be replaced.
Error 106| If the charging temperature is too high, wait for 60 minutes before
charging. If the error code is still displayed, replace the mains charger
adaptor.
Error 107| When the appliance is used in the ‘MAX’ setting, the temperature is
too high or the ambient temperature is too high. It is recommended to wait 60
minutes before using.
Error 109| The charging time of the charger is more than 6 hours, the mains
charger adaptor has failed and needs to be replaced.
Error 110| The battery pack voltage is not enough, so it needs to be charged.
Error 111| The dust container current of the appliance is too large and needs
to be repaired by a professional.
Error 112| If the dust container temperature of the appliance is too high and
the appliance stops working, it needs to be handed over to a professional for
maintenance.
Error 120| The dust and HEPA filters and dust container are removed from the
appliance and the appliance will not run. Replace the dust and HEPA filters
and the dust container.
Roller Stuck| The roller brush is stuck, please refer to page 15 on ‘Roller
Stuck’.
AIR FLOW BLOCKED
- When ‘Air Flow Blocked’ appears on the display panel, there is a blockage in the appliance, the pipe or filters might be blocked.
- Remove the accessory from the appliance and check that there is no blockage in it.
- Empty the dust container over a bin.
- Remove the dust container from the main unit, by pressing the dust container button.
- To remove the HEPA filter, continue to press the dust container button, place your fingers into the recess, and pull directly out.
- Turn the dust container the other way up and with the dust container lid open, push the button upwards and remove the green dust filter by turning it anti-clockwise.
- Tap the dirt out of the dust and HEPA filters over a bin, and clean them with a soft brush if necessary.
- If the appliance starts to work inefficiently, the removed dust and HEPA filters can be rinsed with water under the tap, wiped to remove residual water, and dried completely before reinserting.
- Reassembly by pacing in the dust filter in first turning it clockwise, close the dust container lid.
- Replace the HEPA filter by pushing it into place.
- Attach the dust container back onto the main unit.
- NOTE: The dust and HEPA filters and dust containers should be thoroughly dry before use.
ROLLER STUCK
FLOOR BRUSH
- Press the roller brush release button on the end of the floor brush head and take out the roller brush.
- Clean the hair and dirt off the roller brush.
- Replace the roller brush with the brush head and click into place.
MATTRESS AND STAIR BRUSH
- Turn the grey dial anti-clockwise to unlock the roller brush.
- Clean the hair and dirt off the roller brush.
- Replace the roller brush with the brush head, pointing to the ‘unlock’ icon.
- Turn the grey dial clockwise to the ‘locked’ icon and the roller brush will click back into place.
CARE AND CLEANING
- Switch off the appliance and let it cool completely before cleaning.
- To ensure the best performance regularly check and clean the accessory attachments and aluminium tube.
- Check the parts for wear or damage after every few uses.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Empty the dust container each time after you have used the appliance. The filters must also be regularly cleaned to prevent overloading of the motor.
- Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the appliance. These can damage the surface.
- Store the appliance in a dry, cool place that is not accessible to children and animals.
EMPTYING THE DUST CONTAINER
- Empty the dust container after every use, or when it has reached the ‘MAX’ level mark.
- Remove the vacuum accessory from the main unit.
- Over a bin press the dust container lid release button (A) and then open the lid with your fingers if it has not fully opened.
- The dust in the dust container will fall into the bin.
- Then press the dust container removal button (B) and pull to remove the dust container from the main unit.
- Wipe out the dust container with a dry cloth if necessary.
CLEANING THE DUST AND HEPA FILTERS
- Remove the accessory from the appliance.
- Empty the dust container over a bin.
- Remove the dust container from the main unit.
- Then remove the HEPA filter, place your fingers into the recess, and pull directly out, while pressing button (B).
- Turn the dust container the other way up and with the dust container lid open, remove the green dust filter by turning it anti-clockwise.
- Tap the dirt out of the dust and HEPA filters over a bin, and clean them with a soft brush if necessary.

- Remove the floor brush or mattress and stairs brush from the appliance, by pressing the grey button and pulling on the accessory.

- Replace the roller brush with the brush head and click into place.
MATTRESS AND STAIR BRUSH
