Product Usage Instructions

Setup

1. Place the product on a stable surface near a power outlet.
2. Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position.
3. Insert the power plug into the outlet.

Operation

Light Strip Setup

• Choose smooth and hard surfaces in the vehicle to mount LED strips. Smooth plastic and metal are ideal mounting surfaces.
• Position LED strips around the vehicle to make sure power cables can reach mounting locations. There are 2 shorter cables for the front of the cabin and 2 longer cables reach to the rear.
• Run cables in location that do not interfere with vehicle or seat operation.
• Carefully peel off the adhesive backing without removing a clear adhesive layer. The adhesive layer is very thin, and clear and can come off inadvertently while removing backing.
• Apply pressure while sticking the LED strip.
• Connect the USB plug to a 5V / 2A USB power source or 12V power outlet with included power cables.
• Installation Tip: For best results and long-lasting adhesion, go back over the LED strip one more time by carefully running your finger over the entire strip to make sure the strip is securely attached to a mounting surface. Apply pressure to any areas that are not fully attached to the surface until firmly stuck.

Sound Reactive Remote Control

• Make lights dance to the music!
• Remove the plastic battery protector from the remote control before use.
• Point the remote toward a light that is already set and press the ON button to test.
• Remote controls light up to 30 feet away. Make sure to point the remote at the IR sensor light and that there is a clear line of sight.
• Choose colors, adjust brightness level, or select preset color or color flow light modes.
• Press the music button for a sound-reactive mode that makes lights change colors to sound.
• Place the remote less than 20 inches away from a speaker or other sound source and less than 30 feet away from the lights with clear line of sight.

Connecting Smartphone

• Download the Smart Life App from the App Store or Google Play.
• Allow App access. You may choose to register or continue as a guest.
• Connect the light strip to the USB power source. Press and hold a button on the controller until the light strip starts flashing. Discovering devices…
• Tap + in the upper right to add the device.  tile with the quick Add button will automatically appear in the upper screen area if the light is flashing in pairing mode and device is discoverable. Tap the Add button to connect automatically.
• Follow the prompts in the App to connect and proceed to the home screen.
• Select Strip Lights. Lights can connect via Bluetooth®
• Mako citro flashing light strain and smartphone aro nearly.

Advanced App Control

• Advanced lighting controls and customization using the App.
• Tap the power button in the bottom left of the screen to turn the light On/Off.
• Tap color, color preset, and music sync at the bottom of the screen. Each menu has custom light settings.
• Choose the color at the bottom of the screen to select a color from the spectrum. Tap color type and adjust by tapping the wheel.
• Choose at the bottom of screen to select from preset color modes
• Choose music sync at the bottom of the screen. Select microphone sensitivity or select from preset light colors and patterns to customize.
• Choose to access timer menu settings for the lights to automatically turn off at a preset time.

Control lights with a Smart App, or remote control or turn them on and off with a power button.

Replacing Remote Control Battery

• Pinch end of battery tray with finger nail and pull out by sliding.
• Insert new “CR2025” button cell battery with positive side facing upwards in tray.
• Slide battery tray back into remote and test.
• Care Tip: Periodically wipe clean with soft cloth. Never use abrasive cleaning agent or get wet.
