Product Usage Instructions

Installation Steps:

  1. Turn off the power supply for the condensing unit before installing the IoT device.
  2. Choose a side of the condensing unit further away from the wall for better wireless network connectivity.
  3. Securely fasten the IoT device using screws and belts to tie up the cable.
  4. Unscrew the cable locker cap and connect the waterproof joint to the reserved hole.
  5. Plug the male blue terminal into CN11 (IoT) connector on the main control board of the condensing unit.
  6. Power on the condensing unit and check if the IoT device is working properly.

  • Check No.1 LED display after power ON for 40 seconds.
  • Check No.3 LED display after two (2) minutes.

  • Q: How do I know if my IoT device is working properly?
    A: The normal working state of the IoT device is indicated by the blue LED blinking, with other LEDs off.

  • Q: What should I do if the IoT device fails to boot?
    A: If the IoT device fails to boot, replace it with a new one. Ensure the IoT cable is securely connected to the PCB of the condensing unit.

Installation and Troubleshooting

Ecoer Smart Inverter Unitary systems come equipped with remote monitoring and self-diagnostics technology designed to save dealers’ time when installing and servicing.
Be sure to turn off the power supply for the condensing unit before install the IoT device. Refer to the following steps to install this device.

  1. To keep the best wireless network connectivity, choose one side of the condensing unit that is further away from the wall to hang the IoT device. Use screw to tighten the device and belts to tie up the cable.
  2. Unscrew the cable locker cap and securely fasten the waterproof joint to the reserved hole (plug has to be removed).
  3. Plug the male blue terminal into CN11 (IoT) connector on main control board of the condensing unit.

Power ON the condensing unit and check if the IoT device is working properly. The normal working state of IoT device should be the blue LED (No.1) is blinking with other LEDs light OFF.

Then dealers can monitor units’ live data and perform remote field settings for the condensing unit.   • Alternatively, homeowner/dealer / builder can register at www.ecoer.com. But it will not allow the dealer to monitor the system.
