Part A. IoT Installation and Troubleshooting

  1. Turn off the power supply for the condensing unit prior to installing the IoT device.
  2. Choose one side of the condensing unit that is further away from the wall to hang the IoT device. Use screws to tighten the device and belts to tie up the cable.
  3. Unscrew the cable locker cap and securely fasten the waterproof joint to the reserved hole (plug has to be removed).
  4. Plug the male blue terminal into CN11 (IoT) connector on the main control board of the condensing unit.
  5. Power ON the condensing unit and check if the IoT device is working properly. The normal working state of the IoT device should be the blue LED (No.1) is blinking with other LEDs light OFF.

Refer to the LED indications table below to troubleshoot any issues with the IoT device:

2 Red Always ON Booting
3 Green Always OFF LTE connected
3 Green Blinking LTE disconnected
3 Green Always OFF Local link connected
3 Green Blinking Local link disconnected

If the IoT device boots failed, replace it with a new one. If the problem disappears after replacing the IoT device, check the display of No.3 LED after two (2) minutes. If the problem persists, replace the PCB of the condensing unit. Confirm LTE signal around the condensing unit if the IoT device cannot work, and install AT&T signal booster if needed. If the ESS Plan is expired, subscribe to extended monitoring service by confirming the ESS Plan status with Ecoer Customer Service Team.
