Safety instructions

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH, OR DAMAGE BY FIRE

• Use outdoors only.
• Read the instructions before using the appliance.
• WARNING : accessible parts may be very hot. Keep young children away.
• Do not move the appliance during use.
• Turn off the gas supply at the gas cylinder after use.
• Do not modify the appliance.
• All the parts protected by manufacturer must not be manipulated by consumer. It can be dangerous and is strictly prohibited.
• Under no circumstances should any part protected by the manufacturer be handled by the user.
• This appliance must be kept away from flammable materials during use.
• Use suitable protective gloves when handling your appliance and during cooking: certain accessible parts may be very hot.
• Clean the barbecue and accessories (including grease tray) after each use in order to avoid grease build-up (fire hazard).
• Carry out leak test before use (see Leak test)
• If you smell gas or in the event of a leak:
  • Turn off the gas cylinder valve.
  • Extinguish any open flame,
  • Open the hood (depending on model)
  • Carry out the « leak test» (see Leak test)
• Never leave the appliance unattended.
• Do not use the barbecue in high winds.
• Do not place objects around the appliance that may obstruct airflow.
• Do not use this appliance for any other purpose than that for which it is intended.
• Before each use, ensure that all the gas connections are properly tightened. In the event of these having loosened, immediately shut off the gas cylinder valve, check all the connections and then carry out a leak test (see Leak test).
• Never loosen the gas connections when you are using your appliance.
• Operates without lava rock and do not use charcoal.
• This barbecue must be installed at ground level (except for tabletop models), on a horizontal, level and stable support before use.
• The parts below are the flame protectors (protection against falling grease residue during cooking) and must be positioned above the burners heating the cooking grill, in the notches provided (if applicable). Do not put lava stone in these flame protectors.
  

Additional rules for certain models

• WARNING! The tabletop barbecue must be placed ONLY on materials such as bricks, stone and concrete on a horizontal, level and stable support before use.
  

Disposing of your old unit

This product must not be disposed of or recycled with other household waste when it reaches the end of its useful life.

The product and its packaging should be collected and recycled separately from other waste.

WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY WASTE?

Please dispose of your waste in accordance with the advice below to reduce the impact of your new purchase on the environment.
You are legally responsible for separating the waste associated with this product (and any accessories) so that it can be recycled, including any instructions or/or packaging.
Keep used products and packaging out of the reach of children, as they can pose a safety hazard.
Please retain the instructions and any other notices throughout the service life of the device, and include these documents with the device if it is passed on to third party.

If you do not have Internet access, please contact your local authority for advice on how to sort and recycle your waste.

For your children’s safety, please store your old devices in a safe place outside your home until they are collected.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

This product is guaranteed against faults caused by defects in manufacturing or the materials used for a period of two years, starting from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by failure to install the device correctly, incorrect use of the product, or excessive wear and tear.
