Product Usage Instructions
Connection
-
Ensure the speaker is fully charged.
-
Press and hold the power switch button to turn on the
speaker. -
Select the desired input mode and connect to a corresponding
audio device. -
Insert a wired microphone into the MIC IN port and turn it
on. -
Adjust the microphone volume using the MIC VOL knob on the
speaker control panel.
Bluetooth Connection
-
By default, the speaker is in Bluetooth input mode when turned
on for the first time. -
To switch to Bluetooth input in other modes, press the
Bluetooth mode button on the speaker control panel. -
The speaker will enter Bluetooth pairing state with a rapidly
blinking indicator on the display screen. -
Select “EDIFIER PP205” in your device settings to connect. The
indicator will stay lit once connected. -
Note: Ensure your audio source device supports A2DP and AVRCP
profiles for full Bluetooth functionality.
Charging
-
Charge the speaker when you hear a low battery prompt
tone. -
While charging, the red LED will be steady lit. When fully
charged, the red LED will turn off. -
To prolong battery life, charge for 2 to 3 hours even after the
red LED goes off. -
If not in use for an extended period, charge the speaker once
every three months for 5 to 10 hours each time.
FAQ
Q: What file formats are supported for USB flash disks?
A: The supported file systems are FAT16, FAT32, exFAT. NTFS
files are not supported; consider formatting the USB flash disk to
FAT format or using a different USB flash disk.

Connection
1. Ensure the speaker is fully charged, and press and hold the ” ” button to
turn it on. 2. Select the desired input mode and connect to a corresponding
audio device. 3. Insert a wired microphone (not included) into the “MIC IN”
port and turn it on. 4. You can adjust microphone volume with the “MIC VOL”
knob on the speaker control panel.

Bluetooth connection
Press to switch to Bluetooth input
EDIFIER PP205
1. It is Bluetooth input by default when turned on for the first time; or switch to Bluetooth
input by pressing the ” ” button on the speaker control panel when in other input
modes.
2. The speaker will auto-enter the Bluetooth pairing state, ”
” will blink rapidly on
the display screen.
3. Select “EDIFIER PP205″ in your device setting to connect, ”

lit on the display screen after connected.
Note: To enjoy all Bluetooth functions of this product, please ensure your audio source device has A2DP and AVRCP profiles.
Charge
1. Charge the speaker when hearing a low battery prompt tone.
2. Charging: red LED steady lit

3. To extend the battery life, it’s better to charge for more than 2 to 3 hours even after the
red LED goes off.
4. If the speaker is not used for a long time, it’s better to charge it once every three months
and each of which should be 5 to 10 hours.

Troubleshooting
Cannot connect to your Bluetooth device ·Ensure the speaker is ON. ·Ensure the
speaker is switched to Bluetooth mode. ·Disconnect from any Bluetooth device
by pressing and holding the ” ” button on the
speaker, and search for “EDIFIER PP205” again. ·Turn the speaker off and
restart it to switch to Bluetooth mode, searching for
“EDIFIER PP205” again.
No sound from the speaker ·Ensure the speaker is ON. ·Ensure the audio cables
are firmly connected and the input is set correctly on the speaker. ·Ensure
signal output from the audio source is normal. ·Try to turn up the volume of
the speaker or audio source. ·Turn the speaker off and restart it.
Cannot read files in USB flash disk/TF (microSD) card ·Ensure USB flash
disk/TF (microSD) card is correctly inserted into the slot. ·Ensure audio file
in the USB flash disk/TF (microSD) card is MP3/WMA format, and the
highest sampling rate supported is 48kHz. ·Insert USB flash disk into a
computer and right-click for “Properties” to check if its file
system is FAT16, FAT32, exFAT etc. format. As NTFS files are not supported by
this speaker, the users can format the USB flash disk to FAT format or use
another USB flash disk.
Cannot record or recording sound is small ·Ensure USB flash disk/TF (microSD)
card is inserted and has enough capacity. ·Try to turn up the music volume or
microphone volume.

reference. ·Use only accessories approved by the manufacturer. ·Install the
instrument properly by following the instructions in the device connection
section. ·Using the product in a 0-35°C environment is recommended. Shipping
and storing the product in a 0-35°C
environment is recommended. ·To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock, do
not expose the product to rain or moisture. ·Do not use this product near
water. Do not immerse the product into any liquid or have it exposed to
dripping
or splashing. ·Do not install or use this product near any heat source (e.g.

Do not insert any object into ventilation openings or slots. It may cause

into the jack. Before connection, check for blockage in the jack and whether
the plug
matches the jack and is oriented to the right direction. ·Keep the provided
accessories and parts (such as screws) away from children to prevent from
being
swallowed by mistake. ·Do not open or remove the housing yourself. It may
expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazardous
risks. Regardless the cause of damage (such as damaged wire or plug, exposure
to liquid splash or foreign object falling in, exposure to rain or moisture,
product not working or being dropped, etc.), the repair has to be performed by
an authorized service professional immediately. ·Before cleaning the product
with dry cloth, always turn off the product and disconnect the power plug
first. ·Never use strong acid, alkali, gasoline, alcohol, or other chemical
solvents to clean the product surface. Use only neutral solvent or clear water
for cleaning. ·The product must be used at an altitude of lower than 2000m.
Excessively loud music may lead to hearing loss. Please keep the volume in a
safe range.

Connexions

Connexion Bluetooth
Appuyer pour basculer sur l’entrée Bluetooth

1. L’entrée Bluetooth est activée par défaut lors de la première mise sous tension. Vous
pouvez sinon sélectionner l’entrée Bluetooth en appuyant sur le bouton « » du
panneau de commande du haut-parleur lorsque vous êtes dans d’autres modes d’entrée.

Charger

Dépannage
Impossible de connecter à votre appareil Bluetooth ·Vérifiez que le haut-
parleur est allumé. ·Vérifiez que le haut-parleur est en mode Bluetooth.
·Déconnectez-vous de tous les périphériques Bluetooth en maintenant le bouton

sur le haut-parleur enfoncé, et recherchez « EDIFIER PP205 ». ·Éteignez le
haut-parleur et redémarrez-le, puis passez en mode Bluetooth et recherchez
à nouveau « EDIFIER PP205 ».
Aucun son du haut-parleur ·Vérifiez que le haut-parleur est allumé. ·Vérifiez
que les câbles audio sont bien connectés et que l’entrée est correctement
réglée
sur les haut-parleurs. ·Assurez-vous que la source audio fonctionne
correctement. ·Essayez d’augmenter le volume sonore du haut-parleur ou de la
source. ·Éteignez le haut-parleur, et redémarrez-le.
Impossible de lire les fichiers contenus sur la carte TF (microSD) ou la
disque flash USB ·Vérifiez que la carte TF (microSD)/disque flash USB est
correctement insérée. ·Assurez-vous que le fichier audio sur le disque flash
USB/la carte TF (microSD) est au
format MP3/WMA et que le taux d’échantillonnage le plus élevé pris en charge
est de 48 kHz. ·Insérez une clef USB dans un ordinateur et cliquez avec le
bouton droit sur « Propriétés » pour vérifier si le système de fichiers
utilisé est au format FAT16, FAT32, exFAT, etc. Le système de fichiers NTFS
n’est pas pris en charge par le haut parleur, les utilisateurs doivent donc
formater la disque flash USB au format FAT ou utiliser une autre disque flash
USB.
Impossible d’enregistrer ou le son des enregistrements est trop bas ·Vérifiez
que la carte TF (microSD)/disque flash USB est insérée et qu’elle dispose de
suffisamment d’espace libre. ·Essayez d’augmenter le volume de la musique ou
du microphone.
