SAFETY & WARNINGS
- • DC 5V working voltage,USB connection.
- Ensure USB port are connected correctly.
- The connection port output voltage should be the same as the LED Ambient Bar Light working voltage.
OVERVIEW
- DC5V input connection port
- Function button
- Turn on/off 3 times for network pairing
Bass Mount
- .Align the hole of the mounting base with the screw hole at the botton of the lamp body, and adjust the bracket to a linear position.
- Insert the screw into the mounting hole and tighten the screw with a hex wrench.
- Check if the bottom of the lamp body close with the mounting surface of the bracket. If it’s close to the mounting surface,adjuest the direction of the bracket.
- After the lamp body is locked to the base, the swing angle cannot be left or right.
Sticker Mount
- Tear the adhesive paper and stick it on the back of the bottom shell,There are 2 Places in total.
- Wipe the surface to be attached, then tear off the other side of the sticker paper and stick it on.
KOGAN SMARTERHOMETM SETUP
Download the “Kogan SmarterHome” app from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS). Note: The app is compatible with iOS 8.1 and higher.
Log In/Register
Open the SmarterHomeTM app and either register for a new account or log in with an existing account.

Turn the LED Ambient Bar light on open the SmarterHome” app home screen, ensuring the Wi-Fi signal is stable.

The LED Ambient Bar Light will flash when you turn. If it is not, turn on/off 3 times and let it flash.
You can now add Ambient Bar Light any you wish to use through the “Add Device” function in the app.

Select the Wi-Fi connection to add the device: input the Wi-Fi password as prompted, tap “Confirm” and wait for the matching to succeed.
Note: The Ambient Bar Light should be on the same Wi-Fi network.
App Functions
Through the SmarterHomeTM app, you can use the following functions.
| Remote
control: The Ambient Bar Light can be controlled from anywhere after the
smart device is successfully connected.

function: Turn the Ambient Bar Light on/off via timer.
| Intelligent
scene: The system sets a variety of intelligent scenes and different scenes
correspond to different righting atmospheres.
| Group:
Group control is available only for the same type of product.
| Device
sharing: The device is shared with other user control devices in the home.
Home Assistant
The Ambient Bar Light can integrate with third-party systems such as Google Home and Amazon Alexa.
GOOGLE HOME CONTROL
Note: You will need to have set up a Google Home account prior to linking your Kogan SmarterHome’ device.

Select “Menu” and then “Home Control”.

In the “Home Control” screen, select the “+” icon in the bottom right.

A list will appear showing actions and a search function to access more apps from here, install the SmarterHomeTM app.

Log into your SmarterHome’ account with your email address or mobile number.

Once linked, it will show the devices linked to your account, you can assign them to rooms. You will be prompted to authorise apps to sync.

Click “Done” and then it will give you a list of commands available.

When successfully linked, you will see it on your “Home Control” screen at the bottom of the app screen. You can now control your Kogan SmarterHome” devices through Google Home.
ALEXA
Note: You will need to have set up an Alexa account prior to linking your Kogan SmarterHomeTM device.
- Select “Menu” and then “S k ills”.
- Search for the app and enable it.
- Login to your SmarterHomeTM account with your email address or mobile number.
- Select “Discover Devices” and the app will begin searching.
- When successfully linked, you will see a list of connected Kogan SmarterHorneTM devices. You can now control your Kogan SmorterHomeTM devices through Alexa with your voice.
