BLENDER SET VT-3424
The blender is included into the blender set and intended for whisking, mixing, chopping and combined processing of liquid and solid products.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Before using the blender set, read this instruction carefully. Keep these instructions for further reference. Use the blender set for its intended purpose only as specified in this manual.
Mishandling the unit may lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user or damage to his/her property.
- Before connecting the unit to the mains, make sure that the voltage specified on the unit corresponds to your home mains voltage.
- Do not use the unit outdoors.
- Do not use the unit near hot surfaces (such as gas or electric stove, oven).
- Make sure that the power cord does not touch sharp edges of furniture and hot surfaces.
- Do not touch the motor unit body, the power cord and the power plug with wet hands.
- To avoid risk of electric shock or fire, do not immerse the unit body, the power cord and the power plug into water or any other liquids.
- If the unit is dropped into water:
- do not touch the water;
- unplug the unit immediately and only after that you may take the unit out of water;
- apply to the authorized service center for testing or repairing the unit.
- Before using the unit for the first time, thoroughly wash all the removable attachments and containers that will contact food.
- Use only the attachments supplied with the unit.
- Before using the unit, make sure that the attachments are set and fixed properly.
- It is not allowed to switch the unit on without attachments and foodstuffs for processing.
- Never leave the unit connected to the mains unattended.
- Always unplug the unit before changing the attachments and after using it.
- Place the chopper bowl on a dry, flat and steady surface.
- Put the products into the chopper bowl before the unit is switched on.
- Cool down hot products before putting them into the measuring cup or the chopper bowl.
- Do not overfill the chopper bowl with products and watch the level of poured liquids.
- If rotation of the knife is hindered during the operation of the chopper, unplug the unit and carefully remove foodstuffs that prevent the knife rotation.
- Remove products and pour out liquids from the chopper bowl only after complete stop of the knife.
- The cutting edges of the chopping knife and of the blender attachment are very sharp and can be dangerous. Handle these attachments very carefully!
- Do not touch the rotating parts of the unit. Do not let hair or free hanging clothes get into the rotation area of the blender attachment knife or whisk.
- To unplug the unit do not pull the power cord, take the power cord plug directly and disconnect it from the mains.
- Do not place the chopper bowl and the measuring cup into a microwave oven.
- Do not put the attachments and bowls in a dishwashing machine.
- For children safety reasons do not leave polyethylene bags used as a packaging unattended.
Attention! Do not allow children to play with polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of suffocation!
- Close supervision is necessary when children or people with disabilities are near the operating unit.
- This unit is not intended for usage by children.
- Do not leave children unattended to avoid them using the unit as a toy.
- Do not allow children to touch the body of the motor unit, the power cord and the power plug during operation of the unit.
- During the unit operation and breaks between operation cycles, place the unit out of reach of children.
- The unit is not intended to be used by people with physical, sensory or mental disabilities (including children) or by persons lacking experience or knowledge if they are not under supervision of a person who is responsible for their safety or if they are not instructed by this person on the usage of the unit.
- Do not use the unit if the power cord is damaged. If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, service or similar qualified personnel to avoid danger.
- Do not attempt to repair the unit by yourself. Do not disassemble the unit; if any malfunction is detected or after it was dropped, unplug the unit and apply to any authorized service center from the contact address list given in the warranty certificate and on the website www.vitek.ru.
- To avoid damages, transport the unit in the original package only.
- Keep the unit out of reach of children and people with disabilities.
THIS UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. ITS COMMERCIAL USAGE AND USAGE IN PRODUCTION AREAS AND WORK SPACES IS PROHIBITED.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage at low temperature keep it for at least three hours at room temperature before switching on.
- Unpack the blender and remove any advertising stickers and package materials that can prevent the unit operation.
- Check the unit for damages, do not use it in case of damages.
- Before switching the unit on, make sure that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage specified on the unit body.
- Before using the unit wash the attachments (1, 10), the bowl (7) and the knife (8) of the chopper, the cup (11) with warm water and a neutral detergent and dry them thoroughly.
- Wipe the motor unit (3), the chopper geared lid (6) and the whisk attachment gear (9) with a soft slightly damp cloth and then wipe them dry.
ATTENTION!
- Do not immerse the motor unit (3), the chopper geared lid (6), the whisk attachment gear (9), the power cord and the power plug into water or any other liquids.
- Wash only the operating part of the blender attachment (1), clean the outer surface with a damp cloth. Never immerse the blender attachment (1) into water or any other liquids completely.
- Do not put the attachments and bowls in a dishwashing machine.
OPERATION TIME
The blender set allows quick and effective operation, but continuous operation time with the whisk attachment (10) should not exceed 2 minutes, with the blender attachment (1) – 35 seconds, and the operation time with the chopper attachment is no more than 1.5 minutes. Make at least 10 minute break between 3 operation cycles.
USING THE BLENDER ATTACHMENT (Pic. 1)
Use the detachable blender attachment (1) for making fruit puree, baby food, sauces, mayonnaise, for mixing various ingredients and making cocktails, for processing fruit and vegetables containing enough juice.
WARNING: Before installing the attachment (1), make sure that the power plug is not inserted into the mains socket.
- Install the detachable blender attachment (1) to the installation place (2), turn the blender attachment (1) clockwise until bumping, make sure that the attachment (1) is fixed properly.
- Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
- Immerse the blender attachment (1) into the bowl with products that you want to chop/mix.
Note: – You can put the foodstuffs into the cup(11).
ATTENTION!
While processing products keep the unit vertically.
- To switch the unit on, press and hold down the button (5) «I».
- For operation at the maximal rotation speed, press and hold down the button (4) «II».
Notes:
- products should be put into the bowl before the unit is switched on. The amount of products to be processed should not exceed 2/3 of the capacity of the bowl in which they are processed.
- before starting to chop/mix, we recommend to peel fruit, remove inedible parts, such as stones, and cut fruit into 2х2 cm cubes.
- After you finish using the unit, take the power plug out of the mains socket and remove the detachable blender attachment (1), turning it counterclockwise.
ATTENTION!
- Do not remove the blender attachment (1) during operation.
- To avoid damaging the blades, do not process too hard products such as cereals, rice, spices, coffee beans, hard cheeses, frozen products etc.
- If the foodstuffs are hard to chop with the blender attachment (1), add some liquid if possible.
USING THE WHISK ATTACHMENT (pic. 2, 3)
Use the whisk attachment (10) only for beating cream and egg whites, making biscuit dough or for mixing ready desserts.
WARNING: Before installing the whisk (10) and the gear (9) make sure that the power plug is not inserted into the mains socket.
- Insert the whisk attachment (10) into the whisk gear (9).
- Install the gear (9) with the whisk attachment (10) to the installation place (2), turn the gear (9) clockwise until bumping, make sure that the gear (9) and the whisk attachment (10) are fixed properly.
- Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
- Immerse the whisk attachment (10) into the bowl with products.
Note: – You can put the foodstuffs into the cup (11).
- To switch the unit on, press and hold down the button (5) «I».
- For operation at the maximal rotation speed, press and hold down the button (4) «II».
- After you finish using the unit, take the power plug out of the mains socket, disconnect the whisk gear (9) from the motor unit (4) by turning the gear (9) counterclockwise.
- Remove the whisk (10) from the gear (9).
ATTENTION!
- Do not use the whisk attachment (10) to knead tight dough.
- Put products into the bowl before switching the unit on.
USING THE CHOPPER (pic. 4)
The unit is used to chop meat, cheese, onion, herbs, garlic, carrots, walnuts, almonds, prunes, vegetables and fruit.
ATTENTION!
Do not chop very hard products, such as ice cubes, frozen products, nutmegs, coffee beans, cereals etc.
Before you start chopping:
- Cut meat, cheese, onions, vegetables or fruit into pieces approximately 2×2 cm in size.
- Remove stems of herbs, shell nuts.
- Remove bones, sinews and cartilage from meat.
Chopping
Caution: the blades of the knife (8) are very sharp! Always hold the knife (8) by the upper plastic end.
- Place the chopper bowl (7) on a dry, flat and steady surface.
- Set the knife (8) on the axis inside the chopper bowl (7).
- Put the food into the chopper bowl (7).
Note: – do not switch the unit on when the chopper bowl (7) is empty.
- Place the geared lid (6) on the chopper bowl (7) and rotate it clockwise until bumping.
- Install the motor unit (3) on the geared lid (6) feeding chute, turn the motor unit (3) counterclockwise until bumping, make sure that the motor unit (3) is fixed properly.
- Install the motor unit (3) strictly in the vertical position and evenly.
- To connect the unit to the mains, insert the power cord plug into the mains socket.
- To switch the unit on, press and hold down the button (5) «I».
- For operation at the maximal rotation speed, press and hold down the button (4) «II».
- During operation hold the motor unit (3) with one hand and the chopper bowl (7) with the other hand.
- After the unit operation, wait till the knife (8) fully stops.
- Remove the power plug from the mains socket.
- Disconnect the motor unit (3) from the geared lid (6) chute by turning the motor unit (3) clockwise.
- Remove the geared lid (6) turning it counterclockwise. Carefully remove the knife (8) taking it by the plastic end.

- Take the chopped products out of the chopper bowl (7).
To achieve the best results, refer to the table below:
Note: – all data in this table are given as recommendations.
CLEANING
Attention! The blades of the knife (8) are very sharp and may be dangerous. Handle the knife (8) very carefully!
- Unplug the unit before cleaning.
- Remove the attachments. Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the motor unit (3) and the gears (6, 9), then wipe them dry.
- After processing salty or sour products, it is necessary to rinse the blender attachment (1) or the knife (8) with water immediately.
- While possessing products with strong dyeing properties (for instance, carrot or beetroot) the attachments and bowls can get colored, wipe the attachments and the bowls with a cloth dampened in vegetable oil; after that wash the attachments and bowls with a neutral detergent.
- Wash the attachments that contacted products with warm water and a neutral detergent and dry them thoroughly after use.
- Wash the whisk attachment (10) all over and wash only the lower part of the blender attachment (1).
- You can wash the chopper bowl (7), the knife (8), the whisk attachment (10) and the cup (11) in a dishwashing machine at the minimal temperature of the detergent solution.
- Do not immerse the motor unit (3) and the gears (6, 9) into any liquids, do not wash them under water jet or in a dishwashing machine.
STORAGE
- Clean and dry the unit thoroughly before taking it away for long storage.
- Do not wind the power cord around the motor unit (3).
- Keep the blender set in a dry cool place out of reach of children and disabled persons.

For further information about recycling of this product apply to a local municipal administration, a disposal service or to the shop where you purchased this product.
The manufacturer preserves the right to change design, structure and specifications not affecting general principles of the unit operation without a preliminary notification due to which insignificant differences between the manual and product may be observed. If the user reveals such differences, please report them via e-mailinfo@vitek.ru for receipt of an updated manual.

A production date of the item is indicated in the serial number on the technical data plate. A serial number is an eleven-unit number, with the first four figures indicating the production date.
