Introduction Description:

Translation scanner pen is an AI product that integrates multiple technologies such as image stitching, OCR translation dictionary, and intelligent voice. In K12 learning, overseas travel, business office and other scenarios, the efficiency of problem solving has been greatly improved.

Power button:

1. Power on/off: Press and hold the power button for more than 3 seconds, and you can choose to power on/off or restart.
2. Standby: Short press the power button to wake up or standby operation.

Volume button: Adjust the volume.
Return button: Short press or touch the return icon “<” to return.
Touch screen: Support tap, slide, touch the screen to select the desired function.
Voice translation key: It is the voice input button of the voice translation function, which can be used for Chinese and English translation.

Work preparation before use:

1. Charge the device: Before using the device, please check whether the device has sufficient power. If the device cannot be turned on or the battery is insufficient, please use the dedicated charging cable to charge the device first. It is best to charge the device for 1 hour or the battery is sufficient before turning on the device. When charging the device when it is off, the screen will display the charging logo and battery percentage in about 8-10 seconds. When the device is turned on, the battery is marked with “lightning” in the upper right corner of the screen

2. Network connection: After turning on the device, connect to the network in the Settings-WLAN interface. This product works better when connected to the Internet. It can be connected to WIFI or mobile phone hotspots.

3. Scan operation
(1) Due to the high technical requirements of this product, during scanning operation, the equipment should be inclined 70-90 degrees with the plane, and the front sight should be aligned with the center line of the text;
(2) Press the pen tip and when the light starts to turn on, drag to the right to scan at a constant speed. During the scanning process, keep the pen tip light always on;
(3) Sight the front sight at the blank space before the first text and start scanning. After the front sight has passed the last text, raise the tip of the pen again;
(4) View the results and click on the screen to perform corresponding operations;

4. Offline use
This product supports offline use, the function of Dictionary and off-line scanning translation can be used normally if you are not connected to the Internet; it is recommended that you use the Internet first for better results.

5. The top of the device screen displays some status information about the device, such as WIFI , power, and charging status.
Main function introduction: (In the home screen, if you directly press the pen tip to scan, the function of Dictionary is automatically used by default)

Scan Translation

Supports multi-language scanning, this function is suitable for students, business people and other people to use.
(1) Before scanning, you can select the language that needs to be scanned and that needs to be translated;

(2) After scanning, the screen will automatically display the results. Click on a word to view the details. Click will play the scanned content and the second voice sign will play the translated content. Click to proceed Favorites, click to follow along.

Voice Translation

Supports 112 languages online voice translation (with the software upgrade, the supported languages will increase). (1) In the voice translation interface, first select the corresponding language, you can choose the blue language for the main voice or the red language for the auxiliary voice;

(2) Long press the button on the device interface near the pen tip, the screen will display a blue microphone logo; on the contrary, press and hold the other side button, the screen will display a red microphone logo, that is, the secondary language voice, release the button after speaking the corresponding language, the screen will Display the result and play.

Photo Translation

Support multi-language photo translation, suitable for one-time translation of paragraph text.
(1) Before taking a picture, you can choose the text language of the picture, and at the same time choose the language that needs to be translated;

(2) After the photo is translated, the result will be displayed on the screen, with the photo taken on the left and the translated text on the right.

Dictionary

The dictionary function includes 6 dictionaries including Chinese to English, English to Chinese, English to Japanese, Chinese, idioms, and Tang poetry.
(1) Enter the word that needs to be queried, click Search to translate it directly, and to bookmark the word at the same time.

Text Excerpt

(1) Select the text excerpt function, the screen will prompt you whether you need to synchronize;

(2) Select the synchronization function, click “Yes”, the screen will display a QR code (mobile phone scan code instant synchronization) and web address (PC end enter the URL instant synchronization), otherwise click “No”;

(3) The text will be displayed on the screen after scanning.

Smart Recording
Support up to 100 languages of recording to text.
(1) Click “Build record” in the upper right corner to add a recording

(2) Click the “microphone” to record

(3) Save the recording, view the recording

(4) Click the recording file to play the recording

Vocabulary functions include Primary school, junior high school, high school, CET-4, CET-6, Graduate, IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, GRE.

System settings

1. WLAN: Configure the WIFI network of the device. Please use this device first, and the effect will be better.
2. Bluetooth: Connect audio equipment such as Bluetooth headsets and Bluetooth speakers.
3. Volume adjustment: adjust the volume.
4. Brightness adjustment: adjust the brightness of the screen.
5. Date and time: View the date and time and set the time zone.
6. System update: check whether there is a newer software version and update it.
7. About this machine: Check the current device model, SN number, software version and other information.
8. The direction of holding the pen: You can choose the left/right hand to hold the pen according to your habit.

Precautions

1. When upgrading, do not perform any operations during the program download and automatic program installation and restart.
2. Please connect to network first, the effect is better; the quality of the network will affect the use of the equipment, try to keep the network unblocked.
3. When scanning, keep the device inclined at 70-90 degrees, aim the front sight at the center of the text, and drag at a constant speed; if the recognition is inaccurate, you can try again.
4. Point the front sight to the blank space before the first letter and start scanning. After the front sight has passed the last letter, lift the pen.
5. During voice translation, the best effect is when the distance between the mouth and the MIC of the device is within 30CM.
6. Please speak coherently at a normal speed, and do not pause multiple times during the speech. The above situations may easily cause inaccurate translation.
7. Please make your pronunciation as standard as possible, and don’t use mantras or slang.
8. The recognition result can be verified by displaying text on the screen, and if there is an error, it can be manually input and edited.
9. If the words you say are recognized correctly, but the translation is not accurate, please change the way of expression.

Exception handling

Forced shutdown: When the device cannot be shut down normally or crashes, press and hold the power button for more than 15 seconds to force shutdown and restart.
