SAFETY MEASURES
Before using the unit, read this instruction manual carefully and keep it for
future reference.
Use the unit for the intended purposes only as specified in this manual.
Mishandling of the unit may lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user or
damage to his/ her property.
- Before charging the battery for the first time, make sure that the voltage in your mains corresponds to unit operating voltage.
- Use the shaver only for the intended purposes.
- Do not leave the operating unit unattended.
- Switch the shaver off during pauses in operation or when you are not using it.
- Do not charge the unit in places with high humidity and temperature.
- Charge the battery at the temperature from 0° C to +35° C and relative humidity not more than 80%.
- To charge the shaver use only the power cord supplied with the unit. Do not use the power cord if the insulation or the plug is damaged.
- Do not place the power cord near hot surfaces or open flame.
- Do not immerse the shaver, the power cord and the plug into water or any other liquids.
- When unplugging the unit, pull the plug but not cord.
- To avoid injury do not use the shaver with damaged stationary shaving head nets or rotating blades.
- Do not allow children to use the unit as a toy. Keep the unit away from children.
- For children safety reasons do not leave polyethylene bags used as a packaging unattended.
Attention! Do not allow children to play with polyethylene bags or
packaging film.
Danger of suffocation!
- This unit is not intended for usage by children.
- The unit is not intended for usage by physically or mentally disabled persons (including children) or by persons lacking experience or knowledge if they are not under supervision of a person who is responsible for their safety or if they are not instructed by this person on the usage of the unit.
- Do not attempt to repair the unit. Do not disassemble the unit by yourself, if any malfunction is detected or after it was dropped, unplug the unit and apply to any authorized service center at the contact addresses given in the warranty certificate and on the website www.vitek.ru.
- Transport the unit in the original package only.
- For environment protection do not discard the unit with usual household waste after its service life expiration; apply to a specialized center for further recycling.
- Keep the unit out of reach of children and disabled persons.
THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USAGE ONLY
USING OF MEN SHAVER
After unit transportation or storage at low temperature keep it for at least 3 hours at room temperature before switching on.
Charging (pic. 1)
Before using the shaver for the first time or after a long period of inactivity the battery needs to be charged for 8 hours.
- Insert the power cord (8) jack into the connector (6) and connect the plug to the mains, the charging indicator (5) will light up.
- Battery recharging cycles should not exceed two hours.
Note:
- Recharge the battery only after its complete discharge.
- Charge the accumulator batteries at the temperature from 0° C to +35° C.
- If you didn’t use the shaver for a month or longer, charge it completely before using
Usage
The best shaving results are achieved if your skin is dry. Your skin may need
2-3 weeks to get used to this shaving system.
- Remove the protective cap (9).
- Switch the shaver on, setting the switch (4) to the «I» position.
Note: You can switch the shaver on only if the lock button on the switch (4) is pressed.
- Touching the skin slightly, move the shaving block back and forth and rotationally at the same time.
- After shaving switch the shaver off by setting the switch (4) to the «0» position, cover the shaving block (1) with the protection cap (9) and take the shaver away for storage.
- It is recommended to clean the shaving block (1) after every use.
- Press the release button (2), clean the shaving block both from the inside and outside with the brush (10), clean the blades drive (pic. 2, 3).
Using of trimmer (pic. 4)
The trimmer is intended for trimming sideburns and mustache.
- Move the trimmer lock (7) downwards.
- Switch the shaver on, setting the switch (4) to the «I» position.
- Place the trimmer under the right angle to your skin and move it gradually downwards to trim mustache or sideburns.
- Switch the shaver off by setting the switch (4) to the «0» position and close the trimmer by pressing it.
CLEANING AND CARE
Clean the shaving block (1) after every using or after several operation cycles of the shaver.
- For easy cleaning of the shaving block (1) remove it from the shaver body (3) by opening it and pulling it upwards (pic. 2, 5).
- Using the brush (10) clean the shaving block (1) both from the inside and outside, clean the blades drive (pic. 3, 6).
- Install the shaving block (1) to its place, cover it with the protection cap (9) and take the shaver away for storage.
- It is recommended to clean the shaving heads every two months (pic. 7, 8).
- Switch the shaver off by setting the switch (4) to the «0» position.
- Press the release button (2) and remove the shaving block (1).
- Turn the frame clamp counterclockwise and remove the frame.
- Remove every stationary net together with the rotating blade.
Note: Be careful when removing the stationary nets; install the rotating blades to the same stationary nets after cleaning, otherwise fitting of rotating blades to the nets will take some time and this may affect the quality of shaving.
- Clean the rotating blades and the stationary nets with the brush.
- Install the stationary nets into the shaving block; ensure that nets are fixed; to fix the net turn it clockwise or counterclockwise.
- Insert the rotating blades into the stationary nets.
- Install the locking frame, turn the frame clamp clockwise.
- Install the shaving block on the shaver.
Attention!
You can wash the shaving block under a warm water jet (pic. 9), if the shaving
block (1) is detached from the shaver body (3).
Dry the shaving block (1) thoroughly before installing it, provide that water
doesn’t get into the shaver body.
Trimmer
- Clean the trimmer after each use.
- Switch the shaver off.
- Move the trimmer lock (7) downwards.
- Clean the trimmer with the brush (10) supplied with the unit.
- Every six months lubricate the trimmer with a drop of oil for sewing machines or hair clippers.
Replacement of shaving heads (pic. 7, 8) For the best shaving results
replace the shaving heads every 2 years.
Replacement of shaving heads is performed as described in chapter «CLEANING
AND CARE».
- Switch the shaver off.
- Press the release button (2) and remove the shaving block (1).
- Turn the frame clamp counterclockwise and remove the frame.
- Replace the shaving heads, install the locking frame, turn the frame clamp clockwise.
- Install the shaving block (1) on the shaver.
Note: After replacement of the shaving heads the fitting of rotating blades to the nets will take some time.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
The shaver is provided with a disposable battery. Before you throw away the inoperative shaver discharge the battery completely, remove it and dispose of it according to the hazardous waste disposal regulations of your country. Do not throw away the shaver until you remove the built-in battery.

A production date of the item is indicated in the serial number on the technical data plate. A serial number is an eleven-unit number, with the first four figures indicating the production date. For example, serial number 0606 means that the item was manufactured in June (the sixth month) 2006.
