B D 161062_01 Wireless Camera Indoor Installation

CONSIDER: Set up camera first on a bench, close to WiFi router, before mounting camera in place.

OPEN THE PACKAGING

STEP ONE

OPTIONAL: insert SD card into camera now for recording before connecting power (requires FAT32 format, 32GB – 128GB)

Connect the camera to power using the AC adaptor and switch on

AND

Ensure your wireless router is turned on and the camera is within range

ADDING THE CAMERA

Before you continue, ensure you have the B&D App downloaded to your smartphone and your smart opener or hub is set up.

Follow the on screen instructions to add a camera to your existing opener/hub

CONSIDER: mounting the camera in a position that provides a clear / unobstructed view.

MOUNT THE CAMERA

ELECTROCUTION! Be mindful not to drill into existing wiring as this may result in serious harm and or death.

STEP FOUR

Rotate the base of the camera until points “a” and “b” are aligned, to remove mounting plate

STEP FIVE

Align points “a” and “b” to insert camera base to plate. Rotate clockwise to secure in place

CONFIGURE THE CAMERA

STEP SIX

Camera settings can be adjusted using the stand alone camera page.

RESET THE CAMERA

To restore the camera back to factory settings:

1. Hold the Reset button for about 10 seconds with the camera powered on.
2. Release the button and wait about 30 seconds. The camera will automatically restart, and restore factory settings.

First, setup the Smart Hub on the new network and then:

1. Open the Smart Hub phone app and remove the camera from the Smart Hub.
2. Reset the camera using the instruction above.
3. Re-follow the instructions “Adding the Camera”.

FOR WIRED CONNECTIONS

To connect the Camera to your home network using a wired connection, connect the Camera to your router using the Ethernet cable before you follow the “Adding the Camera”instructions.

FOR WPS SETUP

To use WPS to connect your Camera to your home network , hold the ‘ WPS ’ button on the back of the camera for 2 seconds and then press the WPS button on your Wi-Fi router within 60 secs.

NOTE – Your router must have WPS enabled (refer to the routers user manual)

After WPS has successfully completed, proceed with the “Adding the Camera”instructions.
