Read these safety instructions before using the fan for the first time and store them in a safe place. They contain important information on basic safety precautions that must be followed.

  1. Use this appliance only as described in this manual. Using the appliance for other purposes may cause a fire or electric shock.
  2. This product is intended for household use only and not for commercial, industrial or outdoor use.
  3. To prevent the risk of an electrical shock, do not place the fan in a window, immerse the unit, plug or cord in water, or spray the fan with liquids.
  4. Close supervision must be provided when the appliance is used by or near children.
  5. Unplug the unit from the mains outlet when not in use, when moving the fan from one location to another and before cleaning.
  6. Do not operate the unit in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
  7. Do not place the unit or any parts near open flames or next to cooking or other heating appliances.
  8. Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug, after a malfunction or if dropped or damaged in any manner.
  9. Avoid contact with moving fan parts.
  10. To disconnect the fan from the mains, grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. Do not pull on the cord.
  11. The use of attachments is not recommended and may result in unexpected hazards.
  12. Always use the fan on a dry, level surface.
  13. Do not operate the fan if the fan housing has been removed or is damaged.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of a fire or electrical shock, do not use the fan with any solid state speed control device.

POLARIZED PLUG


This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug, if it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.

DO NOTE ATTEMPT TO MODIFY THIS PLUG OR DEFEAT THIS SAFETY FEATURE IN ANY WAY.

HOW TO USE

PARTS DESCRIPTIONS

  12. Turn the adjustment knob (4) counterclockwise to remove them from the front and real fan guard (1) (11) and fan blade (2).

  13. Press down the pin (7) on the pipe (8) and insert the pipe (5) until the pin (7) snaps into the round hole (6).

  14. Secure the metal fan head by inserting left and right adjustment knob (4) through the left and right pipe (5) (8) and rubber grommets (3) into fan guard (1) (11).

  15. Turn the adjustment knobs (4) clockwise to secure in place.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

  7. Place the fan on a dry, level surface.

  8. Plug the unit into a 120V AC/ 60 Hz outlet.

  9. Adjust the head up and down to your desired angle.

  10. Turn the Rotary switch to the desired speed setting.

  11. 1 = Low speed
    2 = Middle speed
    3 = High speed

CLEANING AND CARE

  1. The product should be cleaned and inspected on a regular basis. Make sure the fan blade is clean at all times to prevent damage and fading. The fan can be cleaned in two ways:
    a) Vacuum the fan blades or use a can of compressed air.
    b) Remove the front grille by removing the screws securing the grille to the fan (use a screwdriver with a magnetic tip).

  2. After removing the front grille, wipe the fan blades (do not remove) with a damp cloth dipped in a light solution of water and a mild detergent.

  3. Make sure that water does not get into the motor while cleaning.

  4. The blade and front grille must be completely dry before the grille is secured in place.

  5. To clean the rear grille, turn counterclockwise to loosen the screw and remove the grille. To replace the grille, align the shaft with the inside groove of the grille and push inwards. Screw the fastener on clockwise to tighten.

  6. Take the grille off and wipe it with a cloth or use a can of compressed air. Make sure the rear grille is dry before securing it back onto the fan.

  7. Do not use any chemical cleaners (e.g. acid or alcohol) to clean the fan.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
The fan should be stored in its original packaging. Store the fan in a room with low humidity. NOTE: If you experience a problem, please return the fan to the retailer. Do not attempt to open the motor housing yourself, as doing so may cause damage to the fan or personal injury.

Proper disposal of this product.
