DJI Action 2
Safety at a Glance

current instructions and warnings. Failure to read and follow instructions and
warnings may result in personal injury, damage to your DJI OSMOTM product, or
other objects in the vicinity. This document and all other collateral
documents are subject to change at the sole discretion of DJI OSMO.
By using this product, you hereby signify that you have read and agreed to
abide by the terms and conditions of this document. You agree that you are
solely responsible for your own conduct while using this product and for any
consequences thereof. This product is not intended for use by children without
direct adult supervision.
WARNING
- DJI ActionTM 2 contains magnets. Keep the camera unit away from magcards, IC cards, hard disks, RAM chips, implantable medical devices such as pacemakers, and other devices to avoid interference.
- All the holes on the camera unit have built-in waterproof material. DO NOT poke the holes. Clean the camera unit with a clean, dry cloth after using under water.
- DO NOT attach the camera unit to the power module when there is any dust or water on the expansion ports. Otherwise, the camera unit may corrode or short-circuit.
- Put out any product fire using water, sand, fire blanket, or a dry powder fire extinguisher.
- The product should be used in temperatures from 0º to 40ºC (32° to 104°F). Use of the product in environments above 40ºC (104°F) can lead to a fire or explosion. Use of the product below 0ºC (32°F) can lead to permanent damage.
- Never disassemble or pierce the product in any way or the battery may leak, catch fire, or explode.
- DO NOT drop or strike the product. DO NOT place heavy objects on the product.
- DO NOT heat the product. DO NOT put the product in a microwave oven or in a pressurized container.
- DO NOT leave the product near heat sources such as a furnace or heater. DO NOT leave the product inside of a vehicle on hot days. The ideal storage temperature is 22ºC to 28ºC (72° to 82°F).
- DO NOT store the product fully discharged for an extended period. Otherwise, it will over discharge, which will lead to permanent damage.
CAUTION
- Intricate components inside DJI Action 2 may be damaged upon impact and cause the camera unit to malfunction.
- Keep the lens glass clean. Sand and dust may damage the lens glass. Clean DJI Action 2 with a clean, dry cloth.
- Make sure to be careful if the lens glass breaks.
- Keep DJI Action 2 away from sand and dust. Wash the camera unit if the holes are blocked by sand, dust, or any other substance.
- DO NOT poke the USB-C port or microSD card slot.
- DO NOT expose DJI Action 2 to extreme cold or hot temperature. Otherwise, the operating time and functionality may be negatively affected.
- DO NOT use DJI Action 2 during lightning storms.
- DO NOT disassemble or repair DJI Action 2 by yourself.
- DO NOT use DJI Action 2 inside hot springs. DO NOT allow DJI Action 2 to come into contact with corrosive or unknown liquids.
- When attaching DJI Action 2 to the roof or window of a car, the camera unit may fall off if the car travels too fast, the surface is not clean, or there is bad weather such as high winds or a thunderstorm.
- The power module is not waterproof. The waterproof case is required when using the power module with the camera unit under water.
- Charge DJI Action 2 when the battery level is low. Storing the camera unit for more than four months with low battery will reduce the battery life.
- Discharge the battery to 40-60% if DJI Action 2 will not be used for 10 days or more. This can greatly extend the battery life.
