Name of Parts & Positions

Operating Instructions
- Install the battery, and then switch the button 2 to ON”
- Push down the range selection switch to desired range
- Remove the photo detector cap and face it to the light source in a horizontal position
- Read the test value from the LCD display.
- Out of range: If the instrument only displays one 1 in the LCD, it means the light source is too bright, and a higher range should be selected.
- Data-Hold mode: Switch the button 2 to “HOLD” to select Hold mode. When “HOLD” mode is selected, the LUX meter stops all further measurements and the test value will be hold on the display. Switch the button HOLD” to the ON’, the hold value will be cancelled.
- When the measurement is completed, snap on the cap on the photo detector and switch the power selector (button 2) t0 “OFF”
Battery Check-up & Replacement
- It is necessary to replace with a new 9V battery, when left corner of LCD display show “ “
- After turning off the meter, remove the battery cover
- Disconnect the battery from the meter and replace it with a standard 9-volt battery and press the cover back into the place

Maintenance
- Clean the white plastic dome on the top of the detector with a damp cloth when necessary.
- Don’t store the instrument where temperature of humidity is excessively high.
