How to use the washing machine

Sort the laundry according to fabric type/care symbol, colors, size, and delicates.

Prepare the laundry – empty all pockets, close zips and hooks, and eyes, loose belts should be tied together.

Open the door by using the button ‘A’ (as above)

Select laundry and put it in the machine

Close the door

Put detergent in the compartment by pulling out the detergent drawer ‘P’

Select program
If you would like the drying cycle to begin automatically after washing, select the program required using the Drying Programme Selector dial ‘I’. Otherwise, it is possible to finish the wash and then decide on the drying program and load -
Wait for the ‘STOP’ indicator light to flash

Press the ‘Start/Pause’ button ‘C’

After a few seconds, the appliance starts working
At the end of the wash program
- The indicator light ‘STOP’ will be on
- Wait for the door lock to be released (about 2 minutes after the program has finished. The ‘Door Security’ indicator light will go out.
- Switch off the washing machine by turning the selector to ‘OFF’ position
- Open the door and remove the laundry.
Drying cycle
The correct way to dry
- Open door
- Put the laundry in
- Close door
- Turn program dial to cotton
- If you would like your fabrics cupboard dry turn the drying program selector dial until the position
- If you would like your fabrics iron dry turn the drying program selector dial until the position
- If you wish to select a timed drying cycle turn the drying program selector dial until the timed position 120, 60, or 30 (minutes)
- Press the START button
- The timed indicators will display the drying time remaining until the stop indicator lights up
- The drying phase will begin with the program dial fixed on the symbol until the end of the drying
When the program is finished
- At the end of the program, the indicator light ‘STOP’ will go on
- Wait for the door lock to be released (about 2 minutes after the program has finished)
- The Door Security indicator light will go out
- Turn the ‘drying program selector’ dial on the position
- Switch off the machine by turning the program selector on the ‘OFF’ position.

Door Open Button – A
A special safety device prevents the door from opening at the end of the washing/spin cycle. At the end of the spin, the phase waits up to 2 minutes before opening the door.
Door Security indicator light – B
The ‘Door Security’ indicator light is illuminated when the door is fully closed and the machine is ON. When the ‘Start/Pause’ is pressed on the machine with the door closed the indicator will flash momentarily and then illuminate. If the door is not closed the indicator will continue to flash. At the end of the cycle turn the program a selector to ‘OFF’
Start/Pause button – C
When a program is selected wait for the ‘STOP’ indicator light to flash before
pressing the ‘Start/Pause button.
Press to start the selected cycle (according to the selected cycle one
indicator light will go on)
Note: When the ‘Start/Pause button has been pressed, the appliance can take a
few seconds before it starts working.
Changing the settings after the program has started (Pause)
The program may be paused at any time during the wash cycle by holding down the ‘Start/Pause button for about 2 seconds. When the machine is in the paused mode, the indicator light ‘Time to End’ and option buttons will flash.
To restart the program press the ‘Start/Pause’ button once again.
If you wish to add or remove items during washing, wait 2 minutes until the safety device unlocks the door. When you have carried out the maneuver, close the door, press ‘Start/Pause button and the appliance will continue working where it left off.
Canceling the program
To cancel the program the program selector should be rotated to the ‘OFF’ position
Start Delay Button – D
Appliance start time can be set with this button, delaying the start by 3,6, or 9 hours. Proceed as follows to set a delayed start:
- Select a program (‘STOP’ indicator light blinks)
- Press the Start Delay button (each time the button has pressed the start will be delayed by 3,6 or 9 hours respectively and the corresponding light will blink)
- Press START to commence the Start Delay operation (the indicator light associated with the selected Start Delay time stops blinking and remains ON)
- At the end of the required time delay, the program will start.
To cancel the start delay function
Press the Start Delay button until the indicator lights will be off (The STOP light blinks) and the program can be started manually using the START button or switched off the appliance by turning the program selector to off position.
Pre Wash Button – E
This option is particularly useful for heavily soiled loads and can be used
only on some programs.
Detergent for this program should be added to the compartment of the soap
drawer labeled ‘I’.
Cold Wash Button – F
By pressing this button it is possible to transform every program into a cold washing one.
Crease Guard button – G
Press the button to select or deselect this function.
The Crease Guard function minimizes creases as much as possible with a
uniquely designed anti-crease system that is tailored to specific fabrics.
Mixed Fabrics – the water is gradually cooled throughout the final two rinses
with no spinning and then a delicate spin assures the maximum relaxation of
the fabrics
Delicate Fabrics – final two rinses with no spinning and the fabrics are left
in water until it is time to unload.
When you are ready to unload, press the ‘Crease Guard’ button – this will
drain
Woolen/hand wash/silk – after the final rinse, the fabrics are left in water
until it is time to unload and the button indicator blinking.
When you are ready to unload press the ‘Crease Guard’ button this will drain
and spin ready for emptying.
If you do not want to spin the clothes and activate drain only:
- Turn the program selector to the ‘OFF’ position
- Select program drain only
- Switch on the appliance again by pressing the ‘Start/Pause button
Spin Speed Control – H
Rotates in both directions
The spin cycle is very important to remove as much water as possible from the
laundry without draining the fabrics.
You can adjust the spin speed of the machine to suit your needs. By adjusting
the control, it is possible to reduce the maximum speed, and if you wish the
spin cycle can be canceled altogether – position .
Drying Time selector dial – I
This dial sets a program or a drying time up to a maximum of 120 minutes with
a cool-down final phase of 10 minutes.
If the drying time is selected before or during the wash cycle the machine
will automatically commence the drying program.
If a program has been selected which does not enable the automatic drying
phase (e.g. Delicate and Woollen programs or a drain program), at the end of
the wash cycle the light STOP will go on and will not carry out the drying
cycle.
Note: The drying time selector dial must be returned to the OFF position at
the end of each drying cycle.
Automatic Programmes
By selecting one of these 3 automatic programs, the washer-dryer will
calculate the time needed for drying and the residual dampness required
according to the load and drying type selected.
After pressing the START button, one of the indicators will light to display
the drying time remaining.
Extra dry drying program (recommended for towels, bathrobes, and bulky loads)
Cupboard dry drying program Iron dry drying program
Time To End indicator light – L
In order to manage your time better, this washing machine features an indicator light system that keeps you constantly informed on the remaining cycle time
Buttons indicator light – M
The indicator light around the option buttons will light when specific options are selected.
Program selector with ‘OFF’ position – N
Rotates in both directions.
Press the ‘Start/Pause button to start the selected cycle Once a program is
selected the program selector remains stationary on the selected program til
the cycle ends.
Switch off the washing machine by turning the selector to ‘OFF’
Note: The program selector button must be returned to the ‘OFF’ position at
the end of each cycle or when starting a subsequent wash cycle prior to the
next program being selected and started
Drying indicator light – O
The pilot light comes on to indicate that the washer/dryer is drying
