  • This refrigerating appliance is not suitable for freezing foodstuffs – Keep raw and cooked food well apart and do not let raw foods drip onto cooked and other foodstuffs.

  • Never place hot food into the refrigerator.
Allow to cool to room temperature first.

  • Allow frozen food to defrost inside the refrigerator.

  • Good food stock rotation reduces waste.
Place new products behind older versions.

  • The medium temperature setting ensures good preservation of fresh food. Higher temperature inside the appliance may lead to shorter shelf life of food and wastage.

Energy efficiency

  • Most efficient use of energy is ensured in the default configuration with the shelves evenly distributed. Position of the door racks does not affect energy consumption.
  • Do not open the door too frequently or leave open longer than necessary.
  • If the ambient temperature is high and the temperature control is set to too low with the refrigerator fully loaded, the compressor may run continuously, causing extra ice formation on the evaporator. Set the temperature control slightly warmer to allow automatic defrosting and to save energy.

WARNING

  • Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear of obstruction.

WARNING

  • Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.

WARNING

  • Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.

WARNING

  • Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the appliance.

If at any time the defrosted water does not drain from the collection channel, check to see if the drain channel has an obstruction.
The drain tube can be cleared by pushing the special plastic plunger, provided, down the drain tube, see image. If there is an ice build up, select a warmer temperature setting for a few hours until the ice melts.

  • Too much ice developing:
  • Door not closed properly or open for long period of time.
  • Warm food being placed in appliance.
  • Vibration noise:
  • Bottles/jars in appliance making contact with each other or touching the walls of appliance.
