1. Disconnect the power supply of the vehicle.
2. Take out all wires inside the packing box and locate the power cable and the terminals include:

1. Red ACC wiring terminal
   2)YellowVCC wiring terminal
2. Black GNO wiring terminal

3. Arrange the power cable to the fuse box along with the front windshield, A-pillar, the compartment in the driving room. The wiring layout is shown as the below figure. The front recorder should be mounted and fixed on the front windshield, somewhere around the rearview mirror. The optimal mounting area is shown below.
   Fuse box position: For most of the vehicles, the fuse box is at the left of the driving seat or near the steering wheel.
   Please refer to the operation manual of vehicles.

4. Connect black line (GND) to the ground wire inside the fuse box of the vehicle.

5. Connect red line (ACC) to the +12VDC power supply for ignition control in the fuse box.

6. Connect the yellow line (VCC) to the 12VDC power supply inside the fuse box. The power supply is always on and will not be controlled by the ignition.

7. Connect the black rear signal line to the rear camera, and then arrange the wires to the rear lens position of the vehicle as shown in the figure. The installation position and wiring layout of the rear camera is shown in the below figure.

Note: The rear camera can only be mounted inside of the vehicle and do not place it outside of the vehicle. When the vehicle starts, the recorder will turn on automatically and sound a prompt tone (Hello, DOPAI), indicating that it has come into the normal functional state.

APP operation

DDPAI has a built-in Wi-Fi module that the mobile phone can be directly connected to it to set up a wireless LAN. Through the wireless data transmission, you can preview the video in real-time, playback the driving video, download and share the driving video and photos from the “DDPAI” App in your mobile phone. These operations will not consume your mobile phone traffic.
Description: The built-in Wi-Fi of recorder cannot be used as mobile data for surfing the internet or function as a mobile hotspot.

Connect to the recorder via mobile phone Wi-Fi
After the power of the recorder is on, you will hear a voice of “Hello, DDP”, indicating that it has been successfully electrified.

1. Make sure that the recorder and mobile phone are within 5m.
2. Enter the DDP App of the mobile terminal and select “device >+ connect to new device” from the homepage to select the corresponding device.
3. Select the recorder Wi-Fi from the list to connect
   (1)Android phone: Select “DDPAI_X5 Pro_XXXX” from the the-Fi list and input password 1234567890 to connect to recorder-Fi.
   (2) iOS phone: Select and enter the “WLAN” interface from the setting and select “DDPAI_X5 Pro_XXXX” from the scanned Wi-Fi list and input password 1234567890 to connect to the recorder Wi-Fi.

Video preview and playback

Video review: After the mobile phone successfully the recorder, select “device

enter recorder” from the homepage to enter the “real-time/playback” interface to preview and current recording image.
Video playback: Enter the preview interface and there is a progress bar under the preview interface, the video can be playback by dragging the progress bar.
Recorder setting
Enter the preview interface and there is a setting icon at the right top corner of the preview interface, click to enter and set according to your preference.

Precautions **

**

Please carefully read all precautions and operation instructions before use to ensure to use it correctly and safely.

1. Please do not debug the DDP recorder or watch a video through your mobile phone during driving.
2. Please do not mount the DDP recorder at places where may block the view of driving.
3. Please make sure the power cord in the package, as other power cords may result in the malfunction of the product due to incompatibility.
4. 128GB TF card is supported, please make sure to select Class 10 high-speed card. Do not plug or unplug the TF card during operation.
5. Please format the TF card through APP before use, otherwise, it may not be readable.
6. Please do not dismantle or repair the shell of the DDP recorder without authorization. In case of failure, please contact the official service center for consultation.
7. DDP recorder is not only applicable to vehicles but also applicable to other places. The power supply can be provided through the adapter.
8. The pictures in the manual are for reference only. The physical product should prevail.

Remark: The content of lead of SMT electronic components (such as, high voltage resistor, ceramic resistor, diode, etc.) with a mark ” x ” for special purpose maybe? -0.1%. The wire core of screws and cables adopts alloy with superior performance; therefore, the content of lead may be>0.1%. These components all comply with the exemption provisions of the EU RoHS Directive. The to technologies and parts that cannot be substituted due to the restriction of global technology development level, the content of lead for the externally exposed parts all complies with the environmental requirements.

Warranty policy

The after-sales service of the product will provide repair, replacement, and refund strictly according to Law of the People’s Republic of China on Protection of Consumer Rights and Interests and Product Quality Law of the People’s Republic of China and the services include:

1. Warranty period

1. Within 7 days from the next day of receiving, the return of goods without reason is acceptable, on the premise that the after-sales service center of DDPAI has Inspected and confirmed that the outline and function of the main device and accessories are in good condition for re-sale with the intact package.
2. Within 15 days from the next day of receiving, free replacement can be entitled if the after-sales service center of DDPAI has confirmed the quality problem of the main device.
3. Within 3 months from the next day of receiving, free replacement can be entitled if the after-sales service center of DDPAI has confirmed the quality problem of the accessories.
4. Within 12 months from the next day of receiving, free maintenance can be entitled if the after-sales service center of DDPAI has confirmed the functional failure of the main device.

2. Non-warranty policy

1. The damage caused by unauthorized disassembling and maintenance of the main device, misoperation (such as falling off, squeezing, immersion, bump, electric shock, and other reasons)
2. The product is not within the warranty period.
3. The damage was caused by force majeure.
4. The failure of accessories is caused by man-made reasons (such as falling off, squeezing, immersion, bump, electric shock, and other reasons).
