LAKELAND 62483 Milk Frother Instructions
LAKELAND MILK FROTHER
Thank you for choosing the Lakeland Milk Frother.
Please take a little time to read this booklet before you use your appliance and keep it in a safe place for future reference.
The Milk Frother warms and froths hot milk to create perfect lattes, cappuccinos and café-style hot chocolates. It also froths cold milk for iced coffees, milkshakes and smoothies. Just pour in your milk and pop on the lid and switch on. In next to no time you’ll have enough thick, creamy froth or hot milk for two luxurious drinks. The whisk rotates gently to evenly distribute heat and prevent milk from burning, and can be completely removed for easy cleaning to prevent a build-up of burnt on milk.
Here at Lakeland, our award-winning family-owned business still offers the same excellent quality, value for money and exceptional customer service as when we founded the company back in the 1960s.

A GUIDE TO INGREDIENTS
- Different milks, for example UHT long life, fresh semi-skimmed milk and whole milk will all froth to different levels so you may need to reduce the amount of milk you use.
- The Milk Frother works well with several non-dairy milks such as almond, oat and soya milk.
- Semi-skimmed milk often gives the best results for frothing.
- Add your other ingredients (for example, coffee, drinking chocolate) to your mug and pour the warmed milk on top of them.

HINTS AND TIPS
- Only heat milk in the Milk Frother.
- The Milk Frother can be used with milk and hot chocolate flakes. Pour the milk into the frother first, then add the flakes. Use the hot milk setting.
- Certain types of milk, for example long life, can froth more than others, so your milk may leak out – reduce the amount of this milk next time you heat it.
- Rinse the jug as soon as you have finished using it and it will be easier to clean.
- If you are making two or three frothy drinks at once, make one amount of hot milk using just the whisk holder and divide between the mugs. Then add the whisk and make one amount of frothy milk and divide that between the mugs.
- After frothing or heating allow 2 minutes for the thermostat to reset, to shorten this time, rinse with water and wipe dry after each use.
- Cold milk can be frothed with this Milk Frother, however this doesn’t cool down the milk. The Milk Frother works at normal temperature in this condition.
- Keep the whisk in a safe place. It is small and can easily be lost.
- For best results, the milk should be 5 – 10°C before using in the Milk Frother.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- Question: Why is milk and froth spilling out through the lid?
- Answer: Too much milk has been put into the jug. Make sure milk is below the maximum fill lines and you are using the correct whisk.
