You haven’t washed the potato sticks properly before frying.| Rinse the potato sticks well to remove the starch from the outside of the sticks.|
Fried snacks are not crispy when you take them out of the deep fryer.| You have used a type of snack that is meant to be cooked in a traditional deep fryer.| Use oven-baked snack recipes or brush them lightly with oil to make them crispier.|
Fresh french fries are not crispy after cooking.| It is possible when using a small amount of oil, as well as the presence of moisture on the surface of the potato.| Make sure that you dried the potato sticks properly before adding oil.

Cut the potato into smaller sticks so they become crispier.

Add a little more oil for crunchier results.
