Children should be supervised to en-sure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • Unplug the ap-pliance during filling and clean-ing; the fabric steamer is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.

Package Information

Packaging materials of the product are manufactured from recyclable materials in accordance with our National Environment Regulations. Do not dispose of the packaging materials together with the domes-tic or other wastes. Take them to the packaging material collection points designated by the local authorities.

Plug Wiring
The moulded plug on this appliance incorporates a 13 A fuse. Should the fuse need to be replaced an ASTA approved BS1362 fuse of the same rating must be used. Do not forget to refit the fuse cover. In the event of losing the fuse cover, the plug must not to be used until a replacement fuse cover has been fitted. Colour of the replacement fuse cover must be the same colour as that visible on the pin face of the plug Fuse covers are availabe from any good electri-cal store.

Fiting a different plug
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:

  • Brown cable = L (Live)
  • Blue cable = N (Neutral)
  • Green/yellow cable must be connected to ground (E) line
  • With the alternative plugs a 13 A fuse must be fitted either in the plug or adaptore or in the main fuse box. If in doubt contact a qualified electrician.Vertical

Operation

Intended use
This appliance is intended only for household use, removing the creases on your clothes and for various textile products including curtains; it is not suitable for professional use.

Before first use

  • Remove any sticker or protective cover from the steam head.
  • Unwind and straighten the cord before use.
  • When operating the garment steamer for the first time, allow it to steam for a few minutes. this will remove any impurities and odours that might have been left by the manufacturing process.
  • When operating the garment steamer for the first time, you may want to try the steamer on an old piece of fabric before steaming your garment.

WARNING : To avoid an electri-cal circuit overload, it is rec-ommended that no other ap-pliances are plugged into the same circuit as your garment steamer when it is in use.

When unpacking the garment steamer, check to see you have received all the items listed in the parts list, before dis-carding the packaging.

Assembling/operating your garment steamer

  1. Grab the handle of the water tank, pull out the tank, open the water inlet cover and fill the tap water into the tank. Make sure the tank is at least two-thirds full and does not exceed the maximum water level. Then return to the tank and hear two clicks to indicate that the installation is in place.
  2. Hold the steam brush head of the hanging ironing machine by hand, and install the additional brush on the steam head with the other hand. It clicks when installed in the correct position.
  3. Connect the device to a power outlet and switch on the power. Turn the gear knob to each gear, the power indicator light will be on, hanging ironing machine to start heating. After the preheating is finished, the steam head will steam out automatically and you can start using it. When the gear knob is turned to close, the indicator light will go out.
  • Do not exceed the MAXIMUM level when filling the water tank.
  • Press the power button (6), the display screen icons will blink for once, and then only the steam level icon will blink indicating that the device is heating up. Allow the device to preheat before use. The device is ready for use when the steam icon is lit continuously.
  • You may switch between steam levels by pressing the power button.
  • The garment steamer has an intelligent automatic power off function. When the user stops operating this product for more than 8 minutes of time, the internal control circuit will cut off power supply, and the product will enter standby mode to ensure safety and to save energy. At the same time, the “auto shut off indicator” blinks.

When there is not enough water in the tank, the pump will automatically stop working within 25-35 seconds (Noise is normal during this process). Finally, “No water in the tank” icon blinks.

How to steam your garment

The garment steamer is easy to use and is perfect for removing wrinkles/creases from garments and curtains as well as refreshing furnishing fab-rics. It can be used on most fabrics as long as the fabric is hanging or where the garment steamer can be easily used in an upright position moving over the fabric in an up and down motion.

  • The garment steamer is designed to be used in an upright position on hanging garments. refrain from using the steamer in or on garments in a horizontal position.
  • Check that the back of the fabric is breathable so that steam doesn’t build up on the fabric and make it wet.
  • Check your pockets to make sure there are no items in them.
  • Check the back of the garment for objects that are susceptible to steam damage.
  • It is recommended not to use hanging ironing machine around the metal parts of the clothing, because high temperature steam will cause the metal parts to fade.
  • When you turn the gear switch, you will feel the vibration and hear a subtle buzzing sound which is normal.
  • Iron out creases by gently moving fabric creases up and down with a fabric brush.
  • If a fabric brush is not used on the machine, keep the steam head at least 5 cm away from the cloth.
  • If the droning sound becomes louder and there is no steam spewing out, it means there is no water in the water tank. Please check the water level of the water tank and add water to the water tank.

WARNINGS:

  • The garment steamer generates high temperatures of steam. Do not touch the steam head, make sure the steamer is facing away from you in an upright position.
  • For better results, use fabric brush attachment. However, for delicate fabrics, use net brush to prevent pilling.

To steam curtains

  • Wash and dry curtains as directed, according to the fabric type.
  • Hang the curtains and steam when they are hanging in place.
  • Lightly stretch the curtain with one hand while steaming to help remove creases more easily.

To steam upholstery

  • The garment steamer can be used to help freshen up upholstery, slip covers on furniture and cushions from the furniture and in the room. before steaming, always test on a small area of the fabric that is not visible.
  • Keeping the garment steamer in an upright position and using and up and down motion. lightly steam over the fabric of your furniture. cushions should be removed and held upright for steaming. allow cushions to dry thoroughly before replacing on furniture.
  • It is recommended that you use the fabric brush attachment when steaming delicate fabrics such as silk, this will minimize the garment whilst steaming. for better result when removing stubborn creases, remove the fabric brush attachment from the steam head and continuously steam over the selected area until creases are removed.
  • Only use attachments or accessories provided.
  • If the unit becomes noisy with a loud humming sound and no steam is being generated, check the water level in the water tank. this may indicate that the garment steamer is out of water and needs to be refilled.

WARNINGS:

  • If garment has metal accessories, be cautious and do not have garment steamer directly over the metal as this may discolour the metal.
  • Always unplug the garment steamer before attaching or detaching the brush.
  • Do not use the garment steamer directly on the body, animals, or while wearing the garments.

After each use

  • Press the power button , switch the power off at the power outlet and disconnect the power cord from the power outlet.
  • Open the water tank inlet and (over a sink or bucket) invert the water tank to empty the remaining water from the tank.
  • Stand the garment steamer on its base, in an upright position, and allow to cool.

  1. Remove the fabric brush from its steam head and clean using a damp cloth.
  2. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.
  3. Do not put the garment steamer in water or any other liquid.
  4. Do not drop, throw or try and bend the steamer.
  5. Do not attempt to disassemble the appliance.
  6. Always empty the water tank after each use and rinse with clean water.
  7. Wipe outer surfaces with a damp cloth.
  8. Avoid operating the appliance in humid or moist places.
  9. Do not locate the appliance near a heat source or direct sunlight.
  10. Always ensure the steam outlet hole is clean and free from scaling and not blocked.

Storage

  • Once the garment steamer has been disconnected from the power outlet, allowed to cool, emptied of water in the water tank and cleaned, it is recommended to warp the cord safely around the steamer to store in an upright position.
  • We recommend you store the garment steamer on a flat surface, such as in a cupboard, until it is time to use it next.
  • Never use gasoline, solvent and abrasive cleaning agents or hard brush to clean this appliance.
  • Do not put the garment steamer in water or any other liquid.
  • Do not drop, throw or try to bend the steamer.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble the appliance.
  • The garment steamer is designed for household use only and to be used with normal tap water. Do not put perfume, vinegar or other chemicals in the tank. The appliance is not designed to work with these chemicals.
  • Always empty the water tank after each use and rinse with clean water.
  • Wipe outer surfaces with a damp cloth.
  • Avoid operating the appliance in humid or moist places.
  • Do not locate the appliance near a heat source or direct sunlight.
  • Always ensure the steam outlet hole is clean and free from scaling and not blocked.

Troubleshooting

•   Always use the steamer in an up- right position as per the operating instructions.

The steamer is producing a loud humming or pumping sound| •   Check water level; if there is no water or it is low, refill the water tank.
The steamer does not seem to be removing creases easily| •   Hold the steamer in an upright position and stretch the fabric downward to ensure best results.
Unsure when to use the fabric brush| •   Use when steaming is to directly touch the fabric.

•   When steaming delicate fabric, such as silk to reduce the risk of water dripping onto the garment while steaming.

Avoiding discoloring of metal ac- cessories on the garment| •   Do not directly hover the garment steamer over the metal acces- sories.

•   Use caution and steam around the metal accessories.
