SAFETY AND WARNINGS
- Images and functions mentioned in this user guide are for reference only and may differ to the actual model. Please refer to your actual product and app.
- The Smart Life app can be altered without notice for quality improvement and be deleted depending on the circumstances of manufacturing firms.
- In the case of weak Wi-Fi signal strength, the Smart Life app may become disconnected. Ensure the air conditioner is positioned within range of the wireless router.
- Ensure the DHCP server function is activated on your wireless router.
- The internet connection may fail due to a firewall problem. In this case, contact your internet service provider for assistance.
- Under the smartphone system security and network settings, ensure the Smart Life app is marked as a “Trusted” app to gain firmware updates when they become available.

Note:
If you registered the account and added device before, when you re-install the Smart Life app and login, the added device will remain.
APP INSTALLATION
For Android devices
There are two methods:
Method 1: Scan the QR code below with a browser scanner, then download and install the Smart Life app.
Method 2: Open the Google “Play Store” and search “Smart Life”. Download and install the Smart Life App.
For iOS devices
There are two methods:
Method 1: Scan the QR code above and follow the steps to get into the “App Store” to download and install the Smart Life app.
Method 2: Open the Apple “App Store” and search “Smart Life”. Download and install the Smart Life app.
Note:
Please enable the permissions of Storage/Location/Camera for the Smart Life app when installing. This will ensure proper operation of the app.
REGISTRATION & LOGIN

If you don’t have any account, please tap the “Sign up” button.

Read the User Agreement and Privacy Policy then tap “Agree”.

Tap to enter registration page.

The system automatically recognises your country/area. You can also select your country code manually. Enter your email address and tap ‘Next.’

Alternatively, you can select ‘Register by mobile number’ and enter the verification code sent to you by SMS.

Create a profile on the next page to define your location and room.
Login
- Tap “Log in”.
- Read the Privacy Policy and tap “Agree”.
- Enter your registered account and password.
- Tap “Log in” button.
Forgot password
If you forgot the password or want to reset the password, operate as below:
- Tap “Forgot password”.
- Enter your account (e-mail address or mobile phone number) and tap button “Get Verification Code”.
- Enter the verification code received by your e-mail or mobile phone.
- Set the new password and tap button “Done”.
CONNECT TO THE SMART LIFE APP
Adding a device
There are 4 methods to add and connect the device.
- EZ mode
- AP mode
- Bluetooth
- Auto scan
EZ mode connection steps

Power the air conditioner into standby. There is no need to turn the air conditioner on.

Click “+” in the upper right corner of the “Home” screen or tap “Add device”.

Tap on the top left “Add Manually” option. On the left side scroll down to “Large Home Appliances”. Select the type of device as “Air Conditioner (BLE+Wi-Fi)”.

Press the “Display” button on the remote control 6 times within 8 seconds until the air conditioner beeps twice and the display shows “CF”. Then press the button at the bottom of the screen to confirm that the device has been reset.

Input the password of the Wi-Fi that your smartphone is using (2.4Ghz only), then tap “Next”.

Wait until the air conditioner is connected. You can see the connecting process with “PP”, “SA”, and “AP” shown on the display.
“PP” means “Searching the router”, “SA” means “connected to the router”, “AP” means “connected to the server”.
AP mode connection steps

Power the air conditioner into standby. There is no need to turn the air conditioner on.

Click “+” in the upper right corner of the “Home” screen or tap “Add device”.

Select the type of device as “Air Conditioner (BLE+Wi-Fi)”.

Tap in the upper right corner and choose “AP Mode”. Press the “Display” button on the remote controller 6 times in the time of 8 seconds until the device beeps twice and the indoor unit display shows “CF” code. Then press the button at the bottom of the screen to confirm.

Input the password of the Wi-Fi that your smartphone is using (2.4Ghz only), then tap “Next”.

Read the instruction carefully and tap “Go to Connect”.

In the Wi-Fi setting screen of your smart phone, select “SmartLife-” or “SL-”.

You can see the connecting process, at the same time “PP”,”SA”,”AP” shining in turn on the indoor display. “PP” means “Searching the router”, “SA” means “connected to the router”, “AP” means “connected to the server”
Bluetooth connection steps

Power on the indoor unit, no need to launch the air conditioner.

Click “+” in the upper right corner of the “Home” screen or tap “Add device”.

Select the type of device as “Air Conditioner (BLE+Wi-Fi)”.

Tap in the upper right corner and choose “Bluetooth” mode. Press the “Display” button on the remote controller 6 times in the time of 8 seconds until the device beeps twice and the indoor unit display shows “CF” code. Then press the button at the bottom of the screen to confirm.

The app will start searching Bluetooth device. After device found, tap “+” to add the device.

Input the password of the Wi-Fi that your smartphone is using (2.4Ghz only), then tap “Next”.

Once the connection is completed, your device will appear on the screen. Press Next button and then Done button to complete the process.

You can see the connecting process, at the same time “PP”,”SA”,”AP” shining in turn on the indoor display. “PP” means “Searching the router”, “SA” means “connected to the router”, “AP” means “connected to the server”
Auto scan connection steps
- Power on the indoor unit, no need to launch the air conditioner.
- Click “+” in the upper right corner of the “Home” screen or tap “Add device”.
- Select “Auto Scan” option on the top right-hand corner of the screen. Press “Enable WiFi” or “Enable Bluetooth” or both buttons to launch the connection procedure.
- Press the “Display” button on the remote controller 6 times within 8 seconds until the device beeps twice and the indoor unit display shows “CF” code. The app will start auto-scanning. Once the searching is completed you should see the air conditioner found and appearing as “Available devices found”. Press “Next”.
- Input the password of the Wi-Fi, which is the same as your smart phone connected, then tap “Next”.
- The connecting of the device will start.
- Once the connection is completed, your device will appear on the screen. Press Done button to complete the process.
Air conditioner control
Once your air conditioner is successfully linked up to your network, you can control it from your phone.
Voice control instructions
Tap “Alexa” or “Google Assistant” under the “Me” tab and follow the prompts to connect.
