About the A2657

The A2657 is a network adapter which enables a trusted connection between your network and any device with an ethernet port connected to your network. For example, the A2657 helps your network to trust personal computers, printers, manufacturing equipment, and other devices with ethernet connections.

Connect the A2657 to Your Network
  1. Locate the small port next to the ethernet port. This is the front of the adapter. The front of the A2657 faces your endpoint device. (The front of the A2657 has 2 openings. The rear of the A2657 has 1 opening.)
  2. Insert one end of your standard ethernet cable with standard RJ45 connectors (not provided) into the ethernet port on the front of the A2657. (It doesn’t matter which end of the ethernet cable you connect. The ethernet cable ends are identical.)
  3. Disconnect the ethernet cable from your endpoint device.
  4. Insert the free end of the ethernet cable into the ethernet port of your endpoint device. This connects the front of A2657 to your endpoint device.
  5. Insert the disconnected ethernet cable from Step 3 into the back ethernet port on the A2657.
Connect A2657 to a USB Power Supply
  1. Identify the two different ends of the provided USB-C to USB-A power cable. Insert the smaller and flatter USB-C end of the power cable into the smaller USB-C port on the front of the A2657.
  2. Insert the USB-A end of the power cable into an available USB-A port of your endpoint device or another USB-A power source.
  3. Your network adapter is connected and ready for use when the LED is on.
