HINTS AND TIPS
- Always keep coffee beans and ground coffee in an airtight container to preserve the flavour and the aroma of the coffee beans. Coffee tastes best with freshly ground beans, so try not to grind more than you need.
- Ground coffee left in your grinder bowl can become stale and affect the flavour. Be sure to clean the grinding bowl, blades and cover after each use.
- The grinder bowl can only handle dry, brittle foods. DO NOT grind oil seeds (e.g. peanuts) or hard products (e.g. rice).
- Cut ingredients into small even sized pieces, do not try to blend large chunks.
- DO NOT over fill the bowls. This will block the blades. Turn off the appliance and take out some of the food before switching back on.
- DO NOT try to grind or chop frozen ingredients. Allow to thaw and break up into smaller pieces before using.
- If making breadcrumbs or processing herbs make sure the attachments and blades are completely dry.
- Use a spatula to redistribute ingredients in the bowls. NEVER use metal utensils as these may damage the bowl or blade.
- DO NOT over-process – most foods will blend in just a few seconds.
- DO NOT use the appliance for very hard food products, such as bones, shelled nuts, frozen meats etc., as this could damage the blades and cause the motor to seize.
- To remove residue or aromas left behind by nuts, grind one tablespoon of baking soda in the bowl then wipe thoroughly
