INSTRUCTIONS

How to use Before first use

  1. Remove all packaging materials.
  2. Remove any stickers or labels from the appliance.
  3. Thoroughly wash the cooking basket and the grill rack in warm soapy water using a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse and dry.
  4. Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a moist soft cloth. Dry thoroughly.

Preparing for use

  1. Place the air fryer on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface, 10 cm or more away from any wall.
  2. Place the grill rack in the cooking basket properly.
  3. Place the ingredients you wish to cook in the cooking basket.
  4. Slide the cooking basket into the air fryer.

Important notes:

  • This air fryer uses high-speed hot air technology to cook and crisp your food. Do not fill the cooking basket with oil or any other liquid.
  • Do not place anything on top of the appliance. This disrupts the airflow and affects the hot air frying result.
  • Never fill the basket beyond the MAX indication or exceed the amount indicated in the table of the Settings section, as this could affect the quality of the end result. Make sure you check the preparation time and the temperature required for the different ingredients before you start to prepare them simultaneously.
  • Never use the cooking basket without the grill rack.
  • Do not touch the cooking basket during and immediately after use, as it gets very hot. Hold the basket by the handle only.

Using the air fryer

  1. Plug the air fryer into a grounded electric outlet. Always make sure that your local power supply matches the rating plate of your air fryer.
  2. Once the cooking basket and grill rack are properly placed in the main unit housing, the control panel will light up.

Operating the control panel:

  1. – Fan Light Indicator
  2. – Temperature Display
  3. – Time Display
  4. – Heating-up Light Indicator
  5. – Menu Light Indicator
  6. – Preset Button Press the Preset button to scroll through the 8 preset food choices.
  7. – Temp/Time Button Press the Temp/Timer button once to set the cooking temperature. Press it again to set the cooking time. The temperature and time indicator lights will alternately flash on the control panel screen.
  8. – Power Button Press the Power button to switch the air fryer on. By default, the device is programmed to cook at 200 ºC for 15 minutes. While cooking, you can touch the Power button to pause and restart the cooking process. Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds to switch off the device.
  9. + 10 – Control Buttons (-/+)
The air fryer is programmed to cook at temperatures within the range of 80 ºC – 200 ºC (with increments of 5 ºC), from 1 to 60 minutes (increments of 1 minute). Press these buttons to increase or decrease the cooking temperature and time. You can adjust the time or temperature at any time during the cooking process.

Cooking with the air fryer

  • Some ingredients require shaking halfway through the preparation time. To shake the ingredients, pull the cooking basket out by the handle and shake it. Then slide the basket into the air fryer. Using oven mitts is recommended to hold the handle as the air fryer does generate heat and gets hot.

  • Open the air fryer to check on your ingredients as often as you like.

  • If the timer alarm goes off, this means the set preparation time has elapsed. Pull the cooking basket out of the device and place it on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Tip: If you set the timer to half the preparation time, the timer will go off when you have to shake the ingredients. However, this means that you have to set the timer again to the remaining preparation time after shaking.

  • Check if the ingredients are ready. If they are not ready yet, simply slide the basket back into the air fryer and set the timer to a few extra minutes.

  • When a batch of ingredients is ready, the air fryer is instantly ready to cook another batch.
    Notes:

  • Excess oil from the ingredients is collected at the bottom of the cooking basket. Do not turn the cooking basket upside down with the grill rack still attached to it, as any excess oil collected at the bottom of the basket will leak onto the ingredients.

  • The cooking basket, grill rack, and ingredients are hot. Depending on the type of ingredient in the air fryer, steam may be produced.

  • To remove large or fragile ingredients, take them out of the cooking basket using a set of tongs.
    Settings
Watch the basic settings for the ingredients. However, keep in mind that these settings are merely indications. As ingredients differ in origin, size, shape, and brand, we can not guarantee the best setting for your ingredients.

Helpful tips

  • Cooking small items requires less cooking time than larger items.
  • The cooking time difference for large quantities of food vs. smaller quantities is not significant, making air frying an efficient and time-saving method of cooking.
  • Shaking the cooking basket halfway through the cooking process optimizes your cooking results.
  • Brush some oil onto fresh potatoes for a crispy result. Fry the potatoes in the air fryer within a few minutes of adding the oil.
  • Do not cook extremely greasy ingredients such as sausages.
  • Snacks that can be prepared in an oven can also be prepared in the air fryer.
  • You can also reheat food in the air fryer. To reheat ingredients, set the temperature at 150 ºC for up to 5 minutes, with increments of 5 minutes until needed.

Safety features

The air fryer is equipped with overheating protection. This means the device automatically switches off when the temperature reaches its threshold. If this happens follow these steps:
a. Switch off the appliance by pressing the Power On button.
b. Unplug the device from the electric outlet.
c. Allow the appliance to cool down.
