Prozis cookware is not intended for use by people (including children) with physical, sensory or mental impairments or lacking experience and knowledge, unless when they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product, and understand the risks involved. Children must not play with the product.

CAUTION! This symbol highlights dangerous situations that can lead to minor to moderate injuries, damage, malfunction, and/or destruction of the device.

To prevent harm or damage from happening to users or others, make sure to comply with the following requirements.

  • Check the equipment for worn or damaged parts before and after each use. Do not use it if it, or parts of it, are visibly damaged.
  • This product is intended for use in private households and it is not suitable for commercial purposes.
  • Parts of the product will get really hot when in use. There is a burn risk!
  • Never leave the food unattended while cooking.
  • Be careful near the stove and use a lid or splatter guard to prevent burns caused by splashing or hot steam.
  • Hot cookware should be placed on heat-resistant surfaces only.
  • Do not add cold water, ice or fully frozen food items directly into a hot pan, as this could cause a steam eruption and lead to burns or other injuries to users or bystanders.
  • Be especially cautious in this regard when the pan contains hot oils used during cooking, as steam eruptions are possible when elements containing water are brought into contact with hot oil.
  • Do not combine cookware to make a double boiler. These pieces are not designed for that purpose and such use could result in steam-related burns or other injuries to users or bystanders.
  • Using your pan for deep frying is not recommended.
  • Never leave the handle of your pan sticking out over the edge of the hob.
  • In the event of a screw loosening, tighten it using the appropriate wrench.
  • Never put a hot pan on the floor or near the edge of a kitchen surface.
  • Place hot pans at the back of the work surface to allow them to cool down safely.
  • The use of oven gloves when holding handles and knobs is recommended.
  • In the event of a pan fire, switch off the heat and place a fire blanket or dampened towel over the pan and leave it for 30 minutes before removing.
  • Exercise care when cooking with oil. Do not overfill the pan. Avoid using high-heat temperatures.
  • To protect the nonstick coating, do not touch it using metal tools. Use wooden, silicone, or nylon kitchen utensils. Sharp objects and scouring agents or sponges can damage the cookware.
  • Do not use this cookware to store or carry any non-food items or corrosive chemicals. Use it only to heat or cook food.
  • Avoid sudden temperature changes. Do not submerge a hot nonstick pan in cold water. Allow the pan to cool down before washing it. A sudden change in temperature can lead to the warping of the product.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Cleaning:

  • Wash it with hot water, a sponge, and detergent.

Storage:

  • When no longer using the product, store it in a dry environment, protected from dust and direct sunlight.
  • Store your equipment inside the original case provided.

INSTRUCTIONS

Before first-time use:

  • Remove all labels from the pan, wash it with hot water and detergent, rinse it well and dry it with a soft cloth before using it for the first time. Then grease the interior of the pan with cooking oil and carefully wipe off the excess with a soft cloth.

How to use:

  • To maintain the quality of the product, which includes avoiding deformation and conserving its nonstick properties, you should avoid sudden temperature changes. Do not heat it while empty or cool it too quickly.
  • Make sure that you cook over medium-low heat. Be particularly careful if cooking on an induction stove, since it heats more quickly. High temperatures can damage your pan’s nonstick coating.
  • You should use a heat source that is equal to or smaller than the pan’s base to preserve the integrity of the product and save energy. Pay special attention when cooking on a gas stove. The flame should not touch the pan’s walls.
