IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

READ THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE USE AND RETAIN IT FOR LATER REFERENCE!

• Before using the product for the first time, please read the instructions for use below and retain them for later reference. The original instructions were written in the Hungarian language.
• This appliance may only be used by persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking in experience or knowledge, as well as children from the age of 8, if they are under supervision or have been given instruction concerning use of the appliance and they have understood the hazards associated with use. Children should not be allowed to play with the unit.
• Make sure the appliance has not been damaged in transit.
• The product may only be used in dry, indoor conditions.
• The product should only be operated with the supplied mains adapter. The supply voltage of the product is 12 V~, do not deviate from this!
• The light source in the product is not replaceable.
• Risk of slipping! The area around the product may be wet due to the operation of the mini fountain.
• Risk of electric shock! Only touch the mains adapter with dry hands.
• The mains adapter must only be connected to a standard 230 V ~ / 50 Hz socket.
• Due to continuous improvements the design and specifications may change without any prior notice.
• The actual instruction manual can be downloaded from www.somogyi.hu website.
• We don’t take the responsibility for printing errors and apologize if there’s any.

The power cable is not replaceable. If damaged, the product must be destroyed.

INSTALLATION, USE

1. Place the mini fountain on a solid, horizontal surface. Take into consideration, that the weight of the mini fountain filled with water will be greater. (+ 0,7 kg)
2. Fill the container with 7 dl of room temperature or colder tap water.
3. Connect the adapter connector to the accessory mains adapter.
4. Connect the mains adapter to a standard 230 V~ / 50 Hz outlet.
5. The mini fountain’s pump starts circulating the water, and the LED light source is lit.
6. If the optimal water pressure does not develop first, connect it for 10 seconds and then unplug the adapter for 10 seconds. Repeating this 2-3 times can eliminate the water from the pump, so the water flow becomes optimal.
7. You can adjust the speed of water flow with the slide switch on the side of the pump, if necessary. We recommend to prepare nearby a mop and a towel for the site to be able to keep your surroundings and your hands dry.
8. After prolonged use, evaporated water must be replaced.

CLEANING, MAINTENANCE

If the water flow is not optimal, cleaning may be required.

1. Before cleaning, power off the product by unplugging the mains adapter from the outlet.
2. Unplug the adapter connector from the mains adapter.
3. Pour the water out from the product.
4. Wipe the pump’s surfaces with a damp sponge.
5. Wipe the inside of the water container and the outside of the mini fountain with a sponge.
6. Rinse the water tank with a small amount of water, pour out the water.
7. After cleaning, REINSTALL the product.

DISPOSAL

Waste equipment must be collected and disposed separately from household waste because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of the product at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the manufacturer as prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any associated costs arising.
