  3. The volume control switch has to be set to the lowest stage before connecting or unplugging the microphone plug!

  4. Do not place the microphone near speakers, because it can cause noise feedback!

  5. In order to prevent feedback, it is recommended to place the microphone as far as possible from the speaker!

  6. The feedback can lead to hearing damage and speaker/device failure!

  7. Do not touch the upper part of the microphone, because it can cause noise!

  8. Switch off the microphone before you put it down!

  9. The closeness of certain electrical equipment can cause interference or noise!

DISPOSAL
Waste equipment must be collected and disposed of separately from household waste because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of products at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the manufacturer as prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any associated costs arising.
DISPOSING OF OFALKALINEAND RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
Batteries, whether alkaline or rechargeable, must not be handled together with regular household waste. It is the legal obligation of the product’s user to dispose of batteries at a nearby collection center or at a retail shop. This ensures that the batteries are ultimately neutralized in an environment- friendly way.

• professional electret-condenser microphone • usable for devices provided with microphone input • LED indicator on the base • LED indicator ring on the shaft • built-in • on/off switch in the base • removable noise-filter sponge • cardioid polar pattern • massive, metal XLR connection plug • extra-long, removable connection cable (5 m) • accessories: ∅6,3 mm-XLR audio connection cable, noise-filter sponge • dual power supply: battery or +48 V phantom power • battery type: 6LR61 (9 V) battery, not included
USE
The microphone is ideal for use in institutions and on programs for professional purposes. It can be connected to the microphone inputs of amplifiers or mixers. To operate it, a battery has to be inserted.
INSTALLATION
Remove the lid of the battery compartment, situated at the bottom of the base, then insert one 9 V (6LR61) alkaline battery, according to the marked polarity. Connect the 3-pole plug of the cable to the rear part of the base, so that the knurled release button on it is facing upward. Later the plug can be removed from the base by pressing this release button. Insert the microphone firmly into the socket located on the top of the base. You can hear a silent click. To remove it, press the PUSH button, located behind the socket.
Set the rod to the desired position. In the meantime, with one of your hands, hold the plug tight at the base of the rod, so as to avoid tension in the socket during bending it.
You can turn on or off the unit with the switch, built into the base. If the sound quality is decreasing or the indicators are fading, replace the battery!

  • Remove the battery, if you are not planning to use the product for a longer period! If the battery is depleted, immediately remove it! Do not use different kinds of batteries and/or used and new batteries together! The battery should be replaced by adults only! Keep the battery out of reach of children! If there is some liquid flown out, then take a protective glove and clean the battery holder with a dry cloth!
  • Warning! Risk of explosion in case of incorrect replacement of batteries! Batteries should be replaced only with the same or substitute type! Do not expose batteries to direct heat radiation or sunshine! Do not open, burn, and short circuit the batteries!
  • It is forbidden to charge the batteries which are not rechargeable! Risk of explosion!
  • Do not use accumulators instead of batteries, because their voltage and efficiency is significantly lower!

CONNECTION
Microphones can be connected to any device, which has equipped with an input for that purpose.
If the appliance can receive a different type (or size) of connection plug than what is found on the microphone, then purchasing an external converter is necessary. Check the corresponding information in the user manual of the other device

  • The microphone has to be turned off while connected!

LOCATION OF THE MICROPHONE
In order to avoid the phenomenon of feedback, it is recommended to position the microphone and speaker as far as possible, so as not to see each other directly. Steps should be taken to avoid those signals which are detected by the microphone and transmitted to the speaker that could reach once again the microphone. The microphone should not be placed in the radiation direction of the speaker! It is important to set the volume control of the amplifier properly – higher volume can cause feedback easier. Feedback can cause damage to the speaker.
