Chapter 1.1 * Intel LGA1200/115X/1366 Pre-installation

Required mounting parts ：

Step 1.1

• ensure the positioning screw aligns to the backplate
• Please ensure a proper connection to the motherboard.

Insert the position screws into the proper holes on the backplate. Then use the washers to fix the position screws.
《If your CPU platform is Intel LGA1700, please skip stepping 1.2 》
《If your CPU platform is Intel LGA2011/2011-3/2066, please skip stepping 2 》

Chapter 1.2 * Intel LGA1700 Pre-installation

Required mounting parts ：

Step 1.2

• ensure the positioning screw aligns with the backplate
• please ensure a proper connection to the motherboard.

Insert the LGA1700 position screws into the proper holes on the backplate. Then use the washers to fix the position screws.

Step 1.3

Install the Intel backplate onto the back of the motherboard; fix the back plate with the stand-off.

Step 1.4

* LGA1700/1200/115X/1366

Install the Intel mounting plates and fasten the nuts to fix the backplate.

Chapter 2 * Intel (LGA201x/2066) Installation

Required mounting parts ：

Step 2

Fasten the Intel LGA 2011 / 2066 screws to the motherboard. Install the mounting plates on the position screws and fasten the nuts.

Chapter 3 * AMD Installation – AMD stock backplate

Required mounting parts ：

Step 3.1

* AMD installation

* AMD installation

Tighten the AMD screw to the AMD stock backplate(included with the motherboard).

Step 3.3

* AMD installation

Fix the AMD mounting plate by using the four nuts.

Chapter 4 * Applying the thermal grease

Step 4

Apply the thermal grease evenly onto the CPU surface with a spreader. Remove the protective film from the cooler base.

Chapter 5 * Fastening the heatsink to the CPU

Step 5

Chapter 6 * Attaching the fan to the cooler and connecting the 4 pin

header to the CPU fan power socket

Attaching the fan to the cooler and connecting the 4-pin header to the CPU fan power socket.

For ETS-F40-BK-ARGB / ETS-F40-W-ARGB only

Connect the top cover 3pin ARGB connector to the fan ARGB hub as an illustrated way. Then, connect the sync cable to a supported motherboard with a 3pin (5VDG) ARGB  header.

Motherboard Sync

Connect the sync cable to a supported motherboard with an ARGB header.
