Thank you for choosing Rough Country for all your vehicle needs. Please read
instructions before beginning installation. Check the kit hardware against the
kit contents shown below. Be sure you have all needed parts and know where
they go. If question exist, please call us
@1-800-222-7023. We will be happy to
answer any questions concerning this product. Check all fasteners for proper
torque. Check to ensure for adequate clearance between all components.
Periodically check all hardware for tightness.
NOTE: Take care using this LED light assembly in windy or hazardous
weather conditions as damage is likely to occur. If needed collapse extended
pole and redeploy after weather has passed.
Additionaly, ensure the stake is fully pressed into stable ground. Very
loose soil or mud will not support the light assembly and damage will occur.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTONS

Locate each piece of the camp light. See Photo 1.

Press the light base into stable soil resting the bottom of the light mount base as close to the ground as possible.

Rest the light extension pole into the light base. See Photo 3.

Open the (4) blades of the light from the stored position. Notice the arrows on the light and do not force the light to open. If force is used the light is not being properly opened and should check blade direction. See Photo 4.

Thread the light mount into the extension pole until tight. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN OR USE TOOLS. See Photo 5.

Locate the light wiring harness. See Photo 6.

Connect the (4) plugs from the wiring harness to the lights making sure each plug is fully engaged. See Photo 7.

To extended the extension pole from the collapsed position. Twist the (3) extension tubes to unlock the pole, fully extend each tube. Then twist the extension tubes in the opposite direction to lock the tube into place. Only light force is used to lock each telescoping portion. See Photo 8.

For reference, pole shown with light shown fully extended. See Photo 9.

Place the extended light and pole into the light base. Shown un extended for light reference. See Photo 10.
CONNECTING THE WIRING HARNESS TO A POWER SOURCE. -
Connecting the light wiring harness to the 12v lighter plug inside of the vehicle. See Photo 11.

r connect the supplied adapter wiring clips to a 12v Positive and Negative terminals of the battery. Then connect the lighter plug to the supplied adapter. See Photo 12

The red light on the lighter style plug will indicate power.

Use the supplied remote to turn the light on and use each function of the light.
Wireless Remote Functions
1. Turn on / Standby
Press this key to turn on unit or switch to stand by mode.
2. Lighting mode
3/8/9. Dimmer Adjust Shortcuts
Switching to 100%,50%, or 25% brightness lighting mode.
4/6. Dynamic Mode Adjust Switching to dynamic mode from lighting mode, or
switch between different dynamic modes.
5/7. Speed Adjust
Adjust playing speed of dynamic modes. Press SPEED + to increase brightness
and press BRIGHT – to decrease.
10/11. Brightness Adjust (Dimmer)
Adjust lighting mode brightness. Press BRIGHT + to increase brightness and
press BRIGHT – to decrease.
- Power Supply. This unit accepts a 12v power supply. The red cable should be connected to positive and black to negative. Please select proper power supply according to the LED application.
- LED Output. The red cable should be connected to LED positive and black cable to negative. The peak output current is 12A, please reduce load if main unit is overheating.
- Remote Control. Remove the battery insulate before using. Do not install the main unit in closed metal parts. The remote battery is 3v CR2025 type, please only replace with same type battery.
