Precautions – Microwave Energy

Microwave ovens generate microwave energy. To ensure safe
operation, please follow the precautions listed below:

  1. Do not operate the microwave oven with an empty cavity. This
can cause damage to the oven and result in fire.

  2. Use microwave-safe cookware only. Avoid using metal utensils,
aluminum foil, or containers with metal trim as they can cause
    arcing or fire.

  3. Avoid overheating liquids or foods. When heating liquids, use a
suitable container and stir the liquid before and during heating to
    prevent sudden boiling and eruption.

  4. Always use oven mitts or gloves when handling hot cookware or
removing hot food from the microwave oven.

  5. Do not attempt to repair or modify the microwave oven yourself.
Contact a qualified technician for assistance.

  6. Keep the microwave oven clean and free from food debris to
prevent odors and potential fire hazards.

  7. Do not use the microwave oven to dry newspapers, clothes, or
other materials. This can lead to fire or damage to the oven.

  8. Do not use the microwave oven for storage purposes. Items
stored in the oven can ignite or melt, causing damage to the oven
    and potential fire hazards.

  9. Always supervise children when they are using the microwave
    oven.

Operation

To operate your microwave oven:

  1. Place your food or beverage inside a microwave-safe
    container.

  2. Close the door securely.

  4. Set the cooking time using the timer function.

  5. Press the Start button to begin cooking.

  6. Monitor the cooking process and ensure that the microwave oven
    is functioning properly.

  7. Once the cooking cycle is complete, carefully remove the food
or beverage from the microwave oven using oven mitts or
    gloves.

  8. Allow the microwave oven to cool down before cleaning or
    performing any maintenance tasks.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance of your microwave oven ensures optimal
performance and longevity. Follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Regularly clean the interior and exterior surfaces of the
microwave oven using mild soap and water. Avoid using abrasive
cleaners that can damage the finish.

  • Remove any food debris or spills from the turntable, turntable
support, and cavity floor to prevent odors and potential fire
    hazards.

  • Inspect the power cord for any signs of damage. If the cord is
damaged, contact a qualified technician for repair or
    replacement.

  • Check the door seal for any signs of wear or damage. A damaged
door seal can affect the microwave oven’s performance and safety.
If necessary, contact a qualified technician for replacement.

  • Refer to the user manual for any additional maintenance
    instructions specific to your model.

water. Rinse and dry thoroughly before reinserting.

  • Clean the turntable support and cavity floor using a mild
    detergent solution.

  • Wipe the control panel with a soft, dry cloth to remove
    fingerprints or smudges.
