Operation
The Bluetooth MyTouch control element for the BlueCool F-Series enables you to control the connected system. The display doubles up as a touch screen. Instructions are included in this document.
ATTENTION
The display must not come in contact with any other electrical devices. The
electrostatic discharge could cause malfunctions. Do not use pointed or sharp
objects to operate the screen. Do not exert excessive pressure.
NOTE
Webasto recommends operating the screen using your fingers only. The touch
sensitivity of the screen is op-timized to fingertip contact. The screen may
not re-spond if gloves are worn.
Tapping at the very edge of the screen may not be recognized.

Operation
After switching on in automatic mode F3, the control starts the Fresh air
unit and the connected Extract air unit one after the other and then switches
to start mode. In the first 30 sec. both fans of fresh air and extract air
unit op-erate with nominal air flow rate and detect the current temper-ature
conditions of the outdoor air. During this phase, the proportional valve is
partially opened to accurately sense the actual chilled water temperature. If
the outside air temperature is lower than the cabin supply air set point
temperature, the unit will begin reheating the outside air even regardless of
the chiller’s current operating mode. If the outside air temperature is higher
than the set target temperat-ure, the unit will begin to cool, but only if the
available chilled water temperature is lower than the outside air
temperature. It is recommended to operate the fresh air system in F3 auto-matic
mode. In that mode the system is able to adapt to differ-ent weather
conditions. If the chiller is operated in F1 “Cooling only” mode, the electric
heating of the fresh air unit is still activ-ated. If the supply air
temperature is higher (cooling) or lower (heat-ing) than the set temperature,
the message
- High supply air temperature
- Low supply air temperature
- Undercooling protection
is displayed. The fan will not operate if “Shutdown high supply air temperat- ure” or “Shutdown low supply air temperature” is activated. This prevents air that is too warm or too cold being blown into the cabin. The fan will operate if “Shutdown high supply air temperature” or “Shutdown low supply air temperature” is deactivated. This ensures a sufficient supply of fresh air, when needed. However the supply air temperature will be warmer or colder than the set value. The fan will NOT operate if the supply air temperature is below 12 °C in order to prevent cabins getting too cold.In cooling mode, the cold water temperature is significantly be-low 15 °C and in heating mode significantly above 40 °C. For changes to these shutdown parameters, please contact your authorised Webasto Marine dealer or service partner.
System settings

Maintenance
- Check the sea-water and chilled water circuit for leaks in the entire system and from the sea-cock to the sea-water outlet.
- Check the condensate line for unobstructed drainage of the condensate water tray.
- Check air-ducting for damage, interruption and free flow.
- Check proper functioning of the system by running it for at least 10 minutes.
- Check electrical connections for corrosion of contacts and firm fitting.
