IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS READ THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE USE AND RETAIN IT FOR LATER REFERENCE!

WARNINGS

1. Before using the product for the first time, please read the instructions for use below and retain them for later reference. The original instructions were written in the Hungarian language.
2. This appliance may only be used by persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking in experience or knowledge, as well as children from the age of 8, if they are under supervision or have been given instruction concerning use of the appliance and they have understood the hazards associated with use. Children should not be allowed to play with the unit. Children may only clean or perform user maintenance on the appliance under supervision.
3. Keep the iron and its power cord out of reach of children under the age of 8 years, while the iron is under power or it is cooling down.
4. Make sure the appliance has not been damaged in transit.
5. Do not leave the iron without supervision when it is connected to the mains!
6. Unplug the appliance from the mains before filling the water tank of the iron.
7. The cap of water tank should not be opened during use!
8. The iron should only be used and stored at a flat, stable surface.
9. The iron should be stand on its heel during use only on a flat, stable surface.
10. The iron should not be used further if it has fallen down, damages are visible on it, or the water is leaking from it.
11. This iron is intended for household use, for ironing clothes.
12. Never iron clothes on your body!
13. Do not touch the hot soleplate, because it can burn your hand!
14. The appliance must not be used with programmable timers, timer switches or stand-alone remote controlled systems that can automatically turn the unit on.
15. Only for indoor use, in a dry place! Protect it from humid circumstances (e.g.: bathroom, swimming pool)!
16. It is PROHIBITED to use the unit near bathtubs, basins, showers, swimming pools or saunas!
17. Power off the unit by unplugging it from the mains outlet before cleaning or relocating it.
18. Do not pour water mixed with vinegar or decalcifier to the water tank of the iron!
19. Hold the plug, not the power cable when you pull it out from the mains outlet.
20. Operate only under constant supervision.
21. Do not operate unattended in the presence of children!
22. If any irregular operation is detected (e.g. unusual noise or burnt odor from unit), immediately switch it off and remove the power plug!
23. Protect from dust, humidity, sunlight and direct heat radiation!
24. Do not touch the unit or the power cable with wet hands!
25. Make sure, that the power cable and the plug cannot get in touch water or any other liquids.
26. Unwind the power cable completely.
27. The appliance may only be connected to properly grounded 230V ~/50Hz electric wall outlets.
28. Do not use extension cords or power strips to connect the unit!
29. Power cable must not get in touch with hot surface!
30. The appliance should be located so as to allow easy access and removal of the power plug.
31. Lead the power cable so as to prevent it from being pulled out accidentally, and do not let it hang over the edge of a table.
32.  Heating elements / heated surfaces of the appliance are still warm for a while after the unit has been switched off.
33. Switch off the appliance after each use, and unplug the power cable! Let the appliance cool, clean it and store it at a dry, cool place.
34. It is prohibited to immerse the appliance to water.
35. Due to continuous improvements the design and specifications may change without any prior notice.

CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!

Do not attempt to disassemble of modify the unit or its accessories. In case any part is damaged, immediately power off the unit and seek the assistance of a specialist.
In the event that the power cable should become damaged, it should only be replaced by the manufacturer, its service facility or similarly qualified personnel.
**CAUTION! HOT SURFACE!**

INSTALLATION

1. Before installation, carefully remove packaging, and make sure not to damage the unit or the connecting cable. If you find any damage, the unit must not be operated!
2. Wipe the stainless steel soleplate of the iron with a damp cloth first, then with a dry one.
3. The thermostat dial must be in OFF position.
4. Stand the iron on its heel on a flat, stable surface.
5. Set the thermostat dial to the appropriate stage for the cloth.
6. Connect the unit into a standard grounded wall socket.
7. The soleplate of the iron will start to warm up, which will be indicated by the red control lamp. When the red light goes out, the iron has reached the adjusted temperature.

FILLING THE WATER TANK

1. The power plug has to be unplugged from the outlet.
2. Turn off the steaming function on the iron (4).
3. Fill the plastic measuring cup up to its max marking with deionized or distilled water. Do not use tap water!
4. Open up the cap of the water tank.
5. By holding the handle with one hand keep the iron in such position so as to have the opening of the water tank horizontally.
6. Pour the water to the tank from the measuring cup with your other hand. Only fill the water tank of the iron up to the max marking. To do this, you need to use the plastic measuring cup more than once.
7. Shut the cap of the water tank.

SELF-CLEANING FUNCTION

1. Fill up the water tank as it is described in the paragraph of FILLING THE WATER TANK.
2. Stand the iron on its heel and set the thermostat dial (9) to maximum temperature.
3. After the red indicator light had gone out, turn the iron to horizontal position above a sink, bathtub or shower tray.
4. Turn the steam switch (4) totally to the right, till the marking. Hold the switch in this position.
5. Big amount of steam and water stones will leave through the holes of the soleplate.
6. When the indicator lamp starts lighting, stand the iron to vertical position, till it heats up again. After that, you can continue the descaling in horizontal position.
7. If you have finished cleaning, then switch off steaming by turning the steam switch (4) to 0 position. Let the iron cool down. (min. 15 minutes)

CLEANING, MAINTENANCE

1. Switch off and power off the unit by unplugging it from the mains outlet before cleaning.
2. Let the appliance cool down. (min. 15 minutes)
3. Use a slightly moistened cloth to clean the unit’s outer surface. Do not use any aggressive cleaners! Avoid getting water inside of and on the electric components of the appliance!
4. Appliance must not be immersed to water!

TROUBLESHOOTING

– Set the thermostat dial.
The iron is not steaming.| – Fill the water tank.
– Check the steam switch.
Water is dripping from the iron instead of emitting steam.| – Check where the water is dipping from. If it is dripping not from the openings of the heated soleplate, then immediately power off the iron and contact the service facility.
– Increase the temperature with the thermostat dial.

**DISPOSAL

**

Waste equipment must be collected and disposed separately from household waste because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of product at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the manufacturer as prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any associated costs arising.

**

In order to select temperature of the iron, check the laundry care label for the fabric type and marking of ironing.

STEAM IRONING

1. In order to use the steaming function, fill the water tank first, according to the instructions written above.
2. Turn the thermostat dial till the steam marking or to upper temperature. If you set too low temperature, then water may drip from soleplate openings instead of steam.
3. Wait till the red indicator light goes out.
4. Turn the steam switch (4) to middle position on the steaming marking, or to the half of it, if less steam is adequate.
5. In horizontal position, the iron will emit hot steam through the openings of the soleplate
6. Steaming function can be switched off, it you set the steam switch (4) to the 0 marking.

STEAM-SHOT FUNCTION

Use steam-shot function only by choosing the max temperature as well. Press the steam-shot button (3) only when the iron has heated up and the red indicator light had gone out. This function can be used both in vertical and in horizontal position of the iron.

SPRAY FUNCTION

By pushing the spray button (2) slowly, you can reach a dense spray, by pushing it quickly, you can reach fine water droplets to spray on the cloth.

STORAGE

Set the thermostat dial to OFF position. Unplug the iron from the mains outlet and let it cool down totally. Store in a cool, dry place.
