Recommendations for use:
Thank you for choosing a Norauto roof box, before first use, we advise you to read the instruction manual.
- During your journey, check the tightness of all fasteners at regular intervals. Never overload the roof box.
- The load MAXI permissible in the roof box is 50KG. The weight applied on the vehicle roof (weight of roof racks+ weight of the roof box+ weight of the loading) shall in no case exceed the allowable load on your vehicle’s roof top (see information on the vehicle’s manual). The load on the roof bars (weight+ weight roof box roof box loading) shall in no case exceed the permissible load of your roof bar (see package insert your roof bars) .The load shall be divided as evenly as possible in the roof box.
- The maximum speed with the roof box on the roof of the vehicle is 130 km/h.
- If you want to clean your car in a car wash facility, you must first remove the roof box and roof rack
- Do not manipulate the roof box if the car is not stationary with the handbrake pulled.
- The tissue of the roof box is highly resistant to water. However, the load must be protected with plastic bags or removed from the vehicle if the weather requires.
- All items to be transported in the trunk should be packed in bags or suitcases.
- Never carry valuables in the roof box. Do not let the roof box loaded unattended.
- When the roof box is empty, we advise you to fold the roof box (step E of the record) to reduce fuel consumption and aerodynamic noise.
- Caution: Do not manipulate the roof box on the road side if you are not in a safe place.
- Do not place roof box on the vehicle when fully loaded.
- To clean, use a damp cloth with water only. let dry completely after cleaning the bag.
- Never store the roof box in a humid place.
- All the loading must be inside the bag.
- Never drive with the roof box’s doors open.
- It is necessary to cinch the load on the anchor points with the provided straps.
- The size of the vehicle is modified with a roof box. Always check that the height(+ car trunk) on the road is sufficient to move with the mounted roof box.
- Warning: the use of a roof box strongly modifies your vehicle uses conditions. We advise you to consider the strong lateral and frontal winds, turns and change your speed in consequence, The braking distances can be extended with the use of a roof box.
- Do not allow children to play inside the trunk to consider it as a shelter. This roof box is not a toy, keep out of children’s reach.
- We remind you that it is prohibited to load in the roof box:
- Animals Children Steel bars or other sharp objects Food Sand Highly toxic, flammable or explosive Aerosols Bricks or other projectiles. It is forbidden to set any object on the roof box with plastic rings.
- We suggest to use once every 2 years ( or more often depending on use ) a waterproof spray which will allow to get back the original resistance and to fight against the external mark.

- The roof box cannot be used on vehicle or roof bar other than those specified.
