WARNINGS – INTRINSICALLY SAFE
- Warning: To prevent ignition of a hazardous atmosphere, the XPR-5562 must only be charged in an area known to be non-hazardous.
- Warning: Use only the approved Nightstick 5562-BATT Lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack.
- Warning: The approved Nightstick 5562-BATT Lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack must be replaced by a qualified technician only.
- Warning: To prevent ignition of a hazardous atmosphere, do not open the battery compartment or attempt to exchange the battery pack while in the hazardous environment. This task must ONLY be performed in an area known to be non-hazardous.
- Warning: Open the battery compartment on the XPR-5562 and replace the approved Nightstick 5562-BATT Lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack in fresh air only.
- Warning: Substitution of components may impair intrinsic safety.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR INTRINSIC SAFETY
For personal safety, always confirm the rating of any known hazardous or potentially hazardous location where the light is to be used.
INSTALL THE BATTERY
- Loosen the locking screw on the underside of the battery compartment before removing the tail cap.
- Reinstall the locking screw after placing the battery to maintain the intrinsic safety certification.
CHARGING THE LIGHT

WARNING: TO PREVENT IGNITION OF A HAZARDOUS ATMOSPHERE, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
CHARGE THIS PRODUCT IN A HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENT. THIS TASK MUST ONLY BE
PERFORMED IN AN AREA KNOWN TO BE NON-HAZARDOUS.
Use only the supplied Nightstick rechargeable battery and Magmate™ cable.
Fully charge the light before the first use, or if the battery is new or has
been unused for several months. For best performance, charge the light when
the fl ashlight beam starts to dim.
- Connect the Magmate cable to a power source with a USB connector. Attach the magnetic end to the charging port located on the light.
- The USB end of the cable includes an LED charge status indicator. The LED indicator remains red until the battery is fully charged. At full charge, the LED indicator turns green.
- The total time to fully charge the light varies depending on the remaining charge in the battery.
OPERATION
Two switches on the front of the headlamp control all functions.
SPOTLIGHT SWITCH
- First Press = spotlight high-brightness
- Second Press = spotlight low-brightness
- Third Press = off
FLOODLIGHT SWITCH
- First Press = fl Goodlight high-brightness
- Second Press = fl Goodlight low-brightness
- Third Press = off
DUAL-LIGHT MODE
- Press each switch one time to turn on both lights in high-brightness mode.
- To shut down Dual-Light mode, press each switch two more times until each light turns off.
WARRANTY
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Bayco Products, Inc. warrants this product to be free from defects in
workmanship and materials for the original purchaser’s lifetime. The Limited
Lifetime Warranty includes LEDs, housing, and lenses. Rechargeable batteries,
chargers, switches, electronics, and included accessories are warranted for a
period of two years with proof of purchase. Normal wear and failures which are
caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, faulty installation, and lightning damage
are excluded.
We will repair or replace this product should we determine it to be defective.
This is the only warranty, expressed or implied, including any warranty of
merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
