WARNINGS

Before using the product for the first time, please read the instructions for use below and retain them for later reference. The original instructions were written in the Hungarian language.

This appliance may only be used by persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking in experience or knowledge, as well as children from the age of 8, if they are under supervision
or have been given instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safetym and they have understood the hazards associated with use.
Children should not be allowed to play with the unit. Children from the age of 8 may only clean or perform user maintenance on the appliance under supervision. Children below the age of 8 years should be kept away from the appliance, and its power cable. -
Make sure the appliance has not been damaged in transit!

Use of the appliance is allowed in households or in similar sites, as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working places; hotel or motel rooms and other living premises; accomodations providing breakfast. • Use the appliance only for making coffee!

Place the appliance onto a stable and horizontal surface only!

Always keep the minimum installation distances indicated in Figure 2. Always observe the health and safety regulations valid in the country of use. • The appliance must not be used with programmable timers, timer switches or stand-alone remote controlled systems that can automatically turn the unit on.

Only for indoor use, in a dry place. Protect from humidity (e.g. bathrooms, swimming pools)!

It is PROHIBITED to use the unit near bathtubs, basins, showers, swimming pools or saunas!

Switch off the appliance and let is cool before filling the water tank. Fill only cold drinking water to the water tank.

Use the appliance only together with the supplied carafe!

The carafe must not be heated in microwave oven, or on other heating source.

Do not use damaged, cracked carafe, replace it with a new one!
-
Only the supplied carafe can be placed to the warming plate of the appliance!

Do not place anything onto the top of the appliance!

While making the coffee, do not open the lids and do not touch the hot carafe or the warming plate. Risk of burning injuries! Glass carafe can be lifted only by its handle! • Do not
place the warm carafe on a wet or cold surface, do not immerse into cold water! -
Do not leave the empty carafe on the heated warming plate, since it can damage it.

Power off the unit by unplugging it from the electric outlet before cleaning or relocating it.

Do not relocate it, when the water tank is full of water, or the glass carafe is on the warming plate.

Warning! Avoid to splash water to the wall electric outlet!

Do not place the appliance onto electric or gas cooker, onto or near other heat source.

Operate only under constant supervision!

Do not operate unattended in the presence of children!

If any irregular operation is detected (e.g., unusual noise or burnt odor from unit), immediately switch it off and remove the power plug!

Protect from dust, humidity, sunlight and direct heat radiation!

Do not touch the unit or the power cable with wet hands!
-
The appliance must not be immersed to water!

Unwind the power cable completely!

The appliance may only be connected to properly grounded 230 V ~/50 Hz electric wall outlets!

Do not use extension cords or power strips to connect the unit! Power cable must not get in touch with hot surface!

The appliance should be located so as to allow easy access and removal of the power plug!

Lead the power cable so as to prevent it from being pulled out accidentally, and do not hang over the edge of a table!

Heating elements / heated surfaces of the appliance are still warm for a while after the unit has been switched off!

When not planning to use the unit for an extended period of time, switch it off then remove the power plug from the outlet.
Store the appliance in a cool, dry place! -

In the event that the power cable should become damaged, it should only be replaced by the manufacturer, its service facility or similarly qualified personnel.
INSTALLATION
- Before installation, carefully remove packaging, and make sure not to damage the unit or the connecting cable. If you find any damage, the unit must not be operated!
- The unit is intended for use in dry, indoor spaces only!
- Stand the unit on its base on a hard, flat surface!
- For proper operation, minimum location distances around the product, shown on Figure 2. have to be ensured!
- Wash the permanent plastic filter (4), openable, removable scalding funnel (3) and glass carafe (7) thoroughly in running water with dishwashing liquid, then rinse them with clean water.
- After the washed components get dried, put them together.
- Check on the switched off appliance if the water tank is filled with clean, cold drinking water, and the lid of the water tank and the scalding funnel is closed.
- Place the glass carafe onto the warming plate.
- Plug the unit into a standard grounded wall socket. Now the unit is ready for operation.
- Switch on the unit with the main switch (9).
- Allow water to flow in to the glass carafe, then turn off the appliance.
- After the appliance got cool down (10 minutes), repeat steps from 7. to 12.
- Then the appliance is ready for use.
CLEANING, MAINTENANCE
- Switch off and power off the unit by unplugging it from the electric outlet before cleaning!
- Allow the appliance to cool (for at least 10 minutes).
- Always remove the coffee ground after use. Wash up scalding funnel, plastic filter and glass carafe.
- Use a slightly moistened cloth to clean the unit’s outer surface. Do not use any aggressive cleaners. Avoid getting water inside of and on the electric components of the appliance! Appliance must not be immersed to water!
To remove lime scale
It is recommended to remove lime scale once a month in case of hard water, and once in every two months in case of medium-hard water or soft water.
- For that purpose, prepare a solution by mixing one part of 10% vinegar with 2 parts of water.
- Fill the water tank with the solution up to the MAX marking, then boil the liquid.
- According to points 7 – 12 of INSTALLATION, rinse the appliance 2 – 3 times. Let it cool down for 10 minutes between the rinsing sections.
TROUBLESHOOTING

DISPOSAL
Waste equipment must be collected and disposed separately from household waste because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of product at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the manufacturer as prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any associated costs arising.
