Safety and Warnings

WARNING
Please read these instructions carefully before use and keep them for future reference.

  • NEVER place a child or baby inside this product for any reason whatsoever.
  • DO NOT overload this product.
  • The maximum weight for the pet carrier in the upper position is 22 lbs. (10 kg).
  • The maximum weight for the pet carrier in the lower position is 50 lbs. (22.7 kg).
  • The maximum weight for the storage basket is 15 lbs. (6.8 kg).
  • This product is NOT for use in carrying pets on airplanes.
  • This product is not a toy. DO NOT allow children to play with it.

Please do not return this product to the store.
If you experience any difficulty with the assembly or use of this product, or if you have a question regarding these instructions, please contact Department 432 (page 9).

Assembly

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please refer to the end of this manual for all photos that are referenced in parentheses in the instructions below.
Unpacking the Product

  • Remove everything from the box – pet stroller with pet carrier included front wheels(2), rear wheels(2), and documents (not shown).
  • Discard all packaging materials properly including plastic coverings.
  • DO NOT allow children to play with any packaging materials.

WARNING: Adult assembly is required for this product. No tools are required.

Unfolding the Pet Stroller

  • Orient the pet stroller with the handle facing upward. (1)
  • Remove the pet carrier from the stroller and put it aside for later assembly. (2)
  • Release the safety latch located on the left side of the pet stroller. (3)
  • Pull upwards on the handle. (4) Keep pulling until the pet stroller is fully erected and the locking mechanism has fully engaged.
  • Gently push down on the handle to ensure that the pet stroller is completely opened and locked before ANY use of the product.

WARNING: Keep children away from pet stroller while unfolding. ALWAYS ensure the locking mechanism is fully engaged when the pet stroller is in the open position.
This action will prevent the collapse of the pet stroller. Possible pinching hazard – Be careful when unfolding the pet stroller.

Installing/Removing the Front Wheels

  • Slide one front wheel into the front wheel housing until it clicks into place. (5) Repeat for the other wheel. Pull-on the wheels to ensure they are installed properly.
  • To remove the wheel, press the metal release button on the back of the front wheel housing and pull the wheel away from the pet stroller. (6)

Installing/Removing the Rear Wheels

  • Install a rear wheel by sliding the axle into the hole in the wheel hub until it clicks into place. (7) Repeat for the other wheel. Pull-on the wheels to ensure they are installed properly.
  • To remove the wheel, push the release button on the rear wheel hub and pull the wheel from the pet stroller. (8)

Assembling the Pet Carrier

  • For the pet carrier that was previously put aside, lift up on the sides of the carrier to fully expand it. (9)
  • Keeping it fully expanded, gently place it on the floor or a table. (10)
  • Remove the pad and pad support from the carrier and put them aside.
  • Open the fabric pocket on the bottom of the carrier and locate the support legs with the fabric loops attached. (11)
  • With one hand braced against the bottom of the carrier, use your other hand to firmly pull the loop on one of the support legs towards one end of the carrier until the support leg fits into the groove on the bottom panel of the carrier. (12) Repeat for the other support leg. The carrier should now hold its shape.
  • Close the pocket using the Velcro® strips. (13)
  • Place the pad support (with the zipper around it) (14) and the pad inside the carrier with the pocket side facing down. (15) The carrier is now ready to use with the pad in the lower position.
  • To attach the carrier to the stroller frame, hold the carry handle and place the carrier into the frame so that the U-shaped bracket on both ends of the carrier fits between the bracket tabs on the stroller frame bar. (16)
  • Push down the clamp on both sides of the carrier frame to lock the pet carrier to the stroller frame. (17)
  • Pull up on the carrier to ensure it is secure.

Setting up the Pet Carrier in the Upper Position

  • Remove the pad and pad support from the carrier.
  • Attach the pad support to the carrier fabric using the zipper. Ensure that the zipper is zipped all the way around the perimeter of the carrier. (18)
  • Replace the pad with the pocket side facing down.

Operation

Rear Wheel Brakes

  • Always engage the rear wheel brakes when not pushing the pet stroller.
  • To engage, push down on the brake lever. (19)
  • Gently push the pet stroller back and forth to ensure the brakes are fully engaged.
  • To release, push down on the back of the brake lever. (20)

WARNING: Always make sure the wheel brakes are engaged when the pet stroller is not being pushed so that the pet stroller will not roll away. Never leave the pet stroller unattended, especially on a hill or incline, as the pet stroller may tip over or slide.

Using the Pet Carrier as a Hand Held Product

  • To remove the carrier from the stroller, unlock the clamp on both sides of the carrier frame. (21)
  • Hold the carry handle and lift it up until it is completely out of the frame. (22)
    IMPORTANT NOTE : The storage basket should never be removed.

WARNING: Maximum weight for the pet carrier in the upper position is 22 lbs. (10 kg).). The maximum weight for the pet carrier in the lower position is 50 lbs. (22.7 kg). The maximum weight that can be carried in the storage basket is 15 lbs. (6.8 kg).

Canopy

  • The canopy can be positioned between fully opened and fully closed.
  • To open the canopy, unlock the clamp on both ends of the canopy and rotate the canopy to the desired position. (23)
  • To lock the canopy, close the canopy all the way down and push down the clamp on both sides to secure it to the carrier frame. (24)

Tether

  • The tether should never be removed.
  • Place your pet in the carrier and attach the tether to the collar to secure them. (25)
  • The tether can be adjusted using the sliding plastic ring.

Folding the Pet Stroller

  • Keep children away from the pet stroller while folding.

  • The rear wheel brakes MUST be engaged before folding the pet stroller.

  • The carrier MUST be removed from the frame.

  • Push the folding release lock on the handle to the left and squeeze the button on the inside of the handle in. (26)

  • Slowly push the handle forward until the product is completely folded (27) and the safety latch has automatically engaged. (28)
    DO NOT force the pet stroller closed.

  • Pull up on the handle to ensure the safety latch is secure.
    CAUTION: While folding the pet stroller, be careful to keep your fingers from being pinched by moving parts.

Folding the Pet Carrier

  • To prepare the carrier for storage or travel, remove the pad and pad support from the carrier.
  • Open the pocket on the bottom of the carrier. (29)
  • With one hand braced against the bottom of the carrier, use your other hand to firmly pull on the loop attached to one of the support legs until it releases from the groove and lays flat. (30) Repeat for the other side.
  • Collapse the carrier by pushing down on all sides so that it lies flat for storage or travel.

Care & Maintenance

Maintenance
All of the fittings, snaps, locks, rivets, and other hardware and plastic parts on the pet stroller should be inspected periodically to ensure that they are secured properly and not damaged or malfunctioning. All straps and fabric items and their stitching should also be inspected periodically to ensure that they are secured properly and not loose, torn or otherwise damaged. All moving parts, such as wheels, brakes, and hinges should also be checked periodically to ensure they are operating properly. Any missing, broken, or worn components should be replaced immediately, and the pet stroller should not be used until they are replaced. Only original manufacturer’s components should be used. Cleaning
The frame and wheels should always be kept clean and free of dirt and foreign matter, especially after operating the pet stroller in the rain, snow, or other harsh environments. Use a sponge or cloth dampened with warm water and a mild detergent cleaner to clean the wheels after such use.
Storage
Direct sunlight may fade the fabric and dry out the wheels. Store pet stroller indoors to prolong its appearance. DO NOT store outdoors. Ensure that the pet stroller is dry before storing it for prolonged periods. Always store the pet stroller in a dry environment. Store the pet stroller in a safe place when not in use (i.e. away from children). DO NOT place heavy objects on top of the pet stroller. DO NOT store the pet stroller near a direct heat source such as a radiator or open fire.
