Wolverine Full Cab with Aero-Vent Poly Windshield
YA-WOLVERINE-FC04
Notice: Do not smoke inside the cab or expose the enclosure to direct flames. The cab is Flammable.
NOTICE: Please check the contents of the package for any damage and make sure all parts fit correctly and you are happy with the product before removing the protective film. Once the film is removed you cannot return the product for a full refund.

  1. Be sure to read these instructions thoroughly before opening and installing the Yamaha Wolverine Full Cab with Poly Windshield. The installation is best done when the temperature is 70 degrees F. or warmer. The temperature affects the adhesive Velcro, if conditions prevent installing in warmer weather it helps to store the adhesive Velcro at room temperature prior to installation.
  2. Carefully open the carton and remove the enclosure on a large flat surface that is clean and free of dirt.
  3. Check over the parts included in the carton with the parts list shown below:

The cab for you Wolverine is made up of 5 different components that work together to enclose your vehicle. Install the cab in the following order.

  1. Soft Doors
  2. Rear Window
  3. Poly Windshield
  4. Top Cap

Soft Doors

  1. Begin by taking the 40″ adhesive Velcro strip and running it up the back of the roll cage facing toward the rear of the vehicle. You will see three double-sided Velcro tabs sewn along the back of the doors. Begin installing the adhesive Velcro from the bottom of the roll cage and work your way up the bar. See the photo below.

  2. Take the Velcro tabs sewn along the back edge of the and attach it to the 40″ adhesive strip on the frame. Begin at the bottom and work your way up. This will place the door in the proper location.

  3. Next, attach the double-sided Velcro strips sewn perpendicular to the edge of the door. At each of the double-sided strips take one of the 3″ adhesive Velcro strips and adhere it to the inside of the frame. Then wrap the double-sided strip around it so that the adhesive strip holds it firmly in place. the following diagrams show how it should look.

  4. Then place the 10″ adhesive Velcro strip at the bottom of the front wing window as shown in the photo below.

  5. Once all the Velcro is in place the last thing to do is install the screw snap studs. Three go on the outside of the vehicle and one goes on the inside of the door. NOTE: The best way to install the snap studs is to put them in the sockets in the door first. Then push them into the plastic to make an indention. Then pull the screw stud out and screw it into the plastic where the mark was made. See the Photos Below.

REAR WINDOW

  1. Begin attaching the Rear Window by connecting the Velcro down the sides to the Velcro tabs from the doors. Start at the bottom on one side and work your way to the top then pull it across and do the same on the other side. Make sure that the Rear window is centered and pulled tight from side to side.

  2. Then place the two 9″ and one of the 15″ adhesive Velcro strips across the top of the roll cage. Make sure to place them on top of the bar. The photo below shows how it should look.
    POLYCARBONATE WINDSHIELD

  3. Install using the directions included with the windshield.

TOP CAP

a. The Top Cap will be attached using four straps with a loop sewn on one end. For the front of the Top Cap, you will use the two 30″ straps. That the looped end and wrap them around the roll cage between the two bolts as shown in the photo below.
b. Next take the two 45″ straps and attach them to the bar at the very bottom back section of the enclosure. This is a bit difficult, you may need to undo the enclosure a bit to accomplish this. Once the strap is wrapped around the bar replace the enclosure and pull on the strap to make sure it is secure. See photo below
c. Now place the top over the entire vehicle, the front of the top is identified by the sides not being as steeply curved and narrower than the back, and begin by lacing the front straps through the ladder lock buckles sewn to the front corners of the top. The diagram below shows how to use a ladder buckle. d. Now run those straps up and through the ladder lock buckles sewn to the rear of the top.
e. You now need to tighten and loosen the strap of the top so that it is centered correctly.
f. the Last item is to install the bent Polycarbonate brace along the top of the windshield through the top cap. This is to seal the enclosure off so that air cannot get through. See the photo below.

Cleaning and Storage Recommendations:

  1. Before removing the Falcon Ridge Cab for storage, make sure it is very clean in order to prevent scratching of the window panels. Clean with a soft rag or sponge using a mild liquid detergent soap and warm water solution. Never rub the windows with a dry cloth or rag! Let the Cab dry thoroughly before attempting to roll for storage.
  2. It is important that the Cab be rolled up for storage rather than folding. Folding will cause damage to the windows!!! Carefully roll up the Cab similar to the way it was when it was packed at the factory On a large, clean and flat surface, fold the doors over the rear panel first, then, interleave the top and windshield on top of the doors. Begin rolling the Cab into a roll approximately 8 inches in diameter. Put the rolled Cab back into the carton for storage at normal room temperature. It is best not to expose the Cab to either extremely hot or cold temperatures when storing.
  3. A special cleaner conditioner is available from Falcon Ridge that will greatly increase the service life of the Cab Enclosure. In addition, if the additional hook and loop sets are needed, they can also be ordered.
