Precautions

The product is a kind of electrical appliance. Please carefully read the precautions given in the Manual, and operate the product as stipulated in the Manual. Any operation in breach of the Manual may damage the product or cause the personal injury. The product is suitable for the normal household use only, and not for the industrial or outdoor use. Attention shall be paid to the followings:

  1. The product is inapplicable to the people with physical, sensory or mental deficiency, the people without fundamental electricity knowledge, and the children without the supervision of any adult.
  2. The product must not be immersed in water or any kind of liquid.
  3. The power plug or any electric insulation of the product shall be kept away from wet fingers or other body parts, in order to avoid electric shock.
  4. The power cord that is damaged must be replaced by the professional worker from the manufacturer, its maintenance department or similar department, in order to avoid hazards.
  5. During use, the air lines and moveable components shall be kept away from long hairs, wide clothes, fingers and other body parts.
  6. The metal wires (such as pins, thin iron wires and copper wires, etc.) must not be inserted into the slot on the product, in order to avoid electric shock.
  7. The product must not be repaired or dismantled by any person except for the professional technicians of the Company.
  8. When the product is not used, the power plug shall be pulled out to avoid fire or other accidents caused by electric leakage or short circuit.
  9. If the product becomes abnormal during use, it is required to pull out the power plug immediately and contact the after-sales service center of the Company for solution.
  10. After the product is used, the sewage tank shall be cleaned timely to keep the air lines unblocked for fear that the blockage of air line causes the decrease of suction and the overheating of motor, and thus shortens the service life of the product.
  11. The product is applicable to the indoor beds, sofas and blankets only, and may not achieve the expected performance if used on other materials.
  12. During use, please do not shake the product in order to prevent the sewage from entering the motor.
  13. A little of water in the product, if any, is left by the product test and is normal.
  14. Beware of scalding by hot water during use.
  15. The hose shall be inspected periodically, and if damaged, must not be used.
  16. Attention shall be paid to preventing the liquid from facing the device containing electric components, such as the oven interior.
  17. The power plug shall be pulled out after the use and during the maintenance of the product.
  18. The clean water tank shall be filled with pure water.
  19. To wind up the power cord, it is required to power off the product first, then pull out the plug, and next wind up the power cord carefully.

Operating Methods

Assemble the main unit before use:

  1. Open the package, take out the main unit, and insert four hose fasteners into the corresponding positions on the main unit.

  3. Insert the brush head assembly into the other end of the hose assembly, and make sure that it is not pulled out reversely.
  4. Open the cap of clean water tank as shown above.

Startup and operation:

  1. Function descriptions
  1. Power on the product to make it in standby.
    2) Power on/off key: click the on/off key gently to start the dry/wet motor (low speed), pump and heater together with its indicator light on (white); click the on/off key again to stop the dry/wet motor, pump and heater with its indicator light off; and so on.
    3) MAX key: when the product is powered on, the motor operates at a low speed and its indicator light is on (white), click this key to make the dry/wet motor running at a high speed with its indicator light on (red); and so on.
    4) Normal/hot water switch key: when the product is powered on, the heater operates, and its indicator light is on (red), click this key to stop the heater with its indicator light on (white); and so on.

    Make sure that both clean water tank and sewage tank are installed properly, there is water in the clean water tank, and the hose and brush head are installed properly; then, unwind the power cord, and insert the plug into the socket to make the product in standby. deerma BY200 Suction Vacuum Cleaner -

  2. Operation

  1. Click the power on/off key gently to initiate the working state of the product with the indicator light showing white. At this moment, the product is in the default mode, i.e. the hot water is sprayed from the nozzle, and the vacuum motor runs at a low speed. 2) Hold the brush head with one hand, put the brush horizontally close to the surface to be cleaned, press the water key with a finger to wet the surface to be cleaned, and move the brush head back and forth repeatedly to clean the surface. Key3) When the normal-temperature water is used, click the normal/hot water switch key gently, and with the indicator light showing white, press the water key to spray the normal-temperature water. 4) To increase the suction, the MAX key shall be clicked gently with the MAX key showing red. 5) During the operation, the hot water is sprayed when the normal/hot water switch key shows red, but the normal-temperature water is sprayed when this key shows white; the motor runs at a high speed when the MAX key shows red, but at a low speed when this key shows white. After work, gently click the power on/off key to make the product in standby. If the product is not used further, the power plug shall be pulled out.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Cleaning of internal pipes

  1. Make sure that there is clean water in the clean water tank and the product is powered on; then hold the brush head with a hand, put the brush horizon­ tally close to a clean surface or countertop, and press the water key with a finger to clean the built-in pipes of the product. In the process of cleaning, the normal-temperature or hot water and the high or low speed of motor can be switched as the normal operation, in order to achieve the better cleaning effect.deerma BY200 Suction Vacuum Cleaner - Internal Popes
  2. If there are stains in the transparent cover of brush head, it is required to pull out the power plug first, then pull out the transparent cover as shown by the arrow, and next wash the transparent cover separately.
  3. Dry the transparent cover by wiping or in air, and then install it back to the brush head.

Cleaning of sewage tank

  1. Lift the sewage tank vertically out from the main unit.
  2. Unplug the stopper on the sewage tank, discharge the sewage, and then insert the stopper.deerma BY200 Suction Vacuum Cleaner - Stopper
  3. Open the bottom cap, take out the internal components, and wash the tank and internal components with clean water.
  4. Pull out the suction port cover of sewage tank on the internal component as shown above, take out the falter sponge, wash and dry the filter sponge, and install back the filter sponge and the suction port cover of sewage tank.deerma BY200 Suction Vacuum Cleaner - Filter Sponge
  5. Dry the internal components and sewage tank by air blowing or in air, then install the internal components back in the sewage tank, and next tighten the cap.

6. The outer surface of whole product can be wiped with dry or slightly wet rag. Remember to pull out the power plug before wiping.

Storage

  1. If the product is not used for a long period, press the power cord winding key forcefully to wind up the power cord into the product as shown above.deerma BY200 Suction Vacuum Cleaner - Power Cord
  2. Place and store the hose and brush head as shown above in a well-ventilated and dry place.

Fault Analysis and Solution

Caution: It is required to disconnect the power supply and pull out the power plug before troubleshooting.
