Instructions for Installation and Care
KAW-4010TRANS-WTC01
Notice : Do not smoke inside the cab or expose the enclosure to direct
flames. Cab is Flammable.
- Be sure to read these instructions thoroughly before unrolling and installing the Falcon Ridge 4010 Full Cab Enclosure. The installation is best done when the temperature is 65 degrees F. or warmer.
- Carefully unroll the Windshield / Top Combo on a large flat surface that is clean and free of dirt or other materials.
- Check over the parts included in the carton with the parts list shown below:
- Adhesive Velcro Hook strips:
- 6 each ——— 8” long
- “ “ 5 each ——— 6” long
- W/T Combo 1 each
- Loosely drape the Cab Enclosure over the Mule roll cage. You will see two webbing straps attached to the front nose of the cab. These will go down and wrap around the bumper support bars that are diagonal as you look down between the bumper and nose of the 4010. Run the strap down, around and back up and attach the strap together and leave loose at this point.
- Working your way to the rear of the roll cage, wrap the bars with the supplied 6” adhesive hook strips immediately above the intake vents. Then stretch the rear of the enclosure over the back and wrap the double-sided strips around the hook strip above the vents, overlapping the ends to provide a secure hold. Next locate the position for the double-sided Velcro strips on the center bar located behind the front seat and repeat the process be certain to clean the surfaces before applying the adhesive loop strips! The photos below show how these are attached.
- Position and install the six (3 per side) 8” hook and loop strips on the left and right sides of the roll cage on either side of the front window. Be certain to clean the surfaces before applying the adhesive loop strips! First, apply all three strips on one side of the roll cage then pull the window tightly toward the other side to minimize waviness or wrinkles in the front window.
- Now you will want to adjust the front nose, pulling it tight until it has pulled down on the windshield and removed any wrinkles. It should end up just slightly above the grille of the Mule. The photo below shows what it should end up looking like.
Cleaning and Storage Recommendations
- Before removing the Falcon Ridge Cab for storage, make sure it is very clean in order to prevent scratching of the window panels. Clean with a soft rag (I recommend a Flannel or Micro Fiber Cloth) or sponge using a mild liquid detergent soap and warm water solution. Never rub the windows with a dry cloth or rag! Let the Cab dry thoroughly before attempting to roll for storage.
- It is important that the Cab be rolled up for storage rather than folding. Folding will cause damage to the windows!!! Carefully roll up the Cab similar to the way it was when it was packed at the factory On a large, clean and flat surface, fold the doors over the rear panel first, then, interleave the top and windshield on top of the doors. Begin rolling the Cab into a roll approximately 8 inches in diameter. Put the rolled Cab back into the carton for storage at a normal room temperature. It is best not to expose the Cab to either extreme hot or cold temperatures when storing.
- A special cleaner conditioner is available from Falcon Ridge that will greatly increase the service life of the Cab Enclosure. In addition, if additional hook and loop sets are needed, they can also be ordered.
