INSTRUCTIONS

SIM-CARD
The starter pack contains all three SIM card sizes available in one multi-SIM card. To remove the appropriately sized SIM card: The start-up kit includes the SIM card in all three sizes. Follow these steps to detach the right-sized SIM card: gently press the SIM card through from its rear side and the card will separate – do not apply force. First, detach the largest SIM card. If you need a smaller size, press the right card in a similar manner and detach the next size. If necessary, you can reattach the smaller SIM card to the larger card by placing it inside the larger SIM card’s frame and gently pressing the pieces together against a tabletop.
How to start using:

  1. Insert the SIM card into the phone.
  2. Turn on the phone and your new subscription is ready for use.
  3. Optionally, you can go to your phone’s settings to enable the PIN code. In order to do this, you need the PIN1 code which you will find by scratching the appropriate box on the SIM card frame.
  4. You can change the language to English online at prepaid.dna.fi or by calling User Service at  0800 412 582.
  5. Download the DNA Prepaid app from your application store.

Note! A new subscription must be activated in Finland before it can be used abroad.

Adding balance
You can top up your subscription:

  • on the Internet, at laturi.dna.fi
  • at Otto ATMs
  • at R-Kioski kiosks
  • At K-food stores and Neste K service stations
  • with top-up voucher at the User Service (0800 412 582)

Prepaid self-service
On the Prepaid self-service, (prepaid.dna.fi) you can check the remaining balance and expiry date among other things. You can also purchase and manage add-on packages.  Using the Prepaid self-service is free of charge from DNA’s prepaid subscriptions.

Mobile app

You can also manage your subscription using the DNA Prepaid mobile app. Download the free app for iPhone or Android phones from AppStore or Google Play.
PIN and PUK codes
The PIN code is your personal code number. It may be four to eight digits in length. Your subscription’s PIN codes are printed on the SIM card’s frame. You can change the code in your phone’s menu. For a more detailed description of how to use the menus, see your phone’s user guide. If you enter an incorrect PIN1 code three times in a row, your subscription will be locked. You can unlock it by using the PUK1 code. The PUK2 code can be used also to unlock a blocked PIN2 code. Store the security codes in a safe place.
Balance inquiry
You can easily check your subscription remaining balance and expiry date by:

  • going to the address prepaid.dna.fi
  • entering *100# and press the CALL button
  • calling User Service at 0800 412 582
  • or by sending a free-of-charge message reading “SALDO” to the number 14600.

Usage abroad
Note! You must activate your new subscription in Finland before using it abroad.
Further instructions
The agreement will end 380 days from the previous reloading or, if the customer does not perform a service reload even once after buying the service, 195 days after the activation of the subscription. 15 days prior to the end of the agreement, use of the service will be limited to calls made to the emergency number, the free-of-charge user service, the DNA customer service, and no other numbers. By reloading new credit at least once every six months, your subscription will always be ready for use!
