A. STRUCTURE AND FEATURES
-
[MIC/LINE]:
Mono input socket, you can connect XLR plug and phone plug to connect the microphone or instrument you want to use. -
[MAIN OUTPUT]:
TRS phone type unbalanced output socket for outputting mixed stereo signal. The signal level can be adjusted through the [MAIN] knob before being output. For example, these sockets can be used to connect the power amplifier. -
+48V PHANTOM power switch.
Turn off / Turn on, when using a condenser microphone powered by phantom power, turn on the switch. Notice: The phantom power supply only supplies power to XLR plugs connected to channel 1 and 2 sockets. If you do no need phantom power, be sure to set this switch to off ( ). When the phantom power is turned on ( ), pay attention to the following rules to prevent noise or damage to the mixer or external equipment: Do not disconnect the XLR plug when the switch is on. Before turning on and off the phantom power supply, set the output controller such as [MAIN] to the minimum level. -
[HI-Z]: INPUT2 signal input mode switching.
Line input mode / Instrument input mode. When connecting high impedance appliances, such as electric guitar or electric bass, you need to turn on instrument input mode by pressing [HI-Z] button. -
3.5mm microphone interface.
The interface suitable for 3V condenser microphone. The level signal is adjusted by 1-channel volume controller and sent to [MAIN] mixed output. -
[PEAK] indicator light.
When the input signal reaches 3dB of clipping distortion, the indicator will light up. Adjust the channel volume knob to make the [PEAK] indicator light flash briefly for the best recording level. -
[SIG] indicator light.
When the input signal is higher than 3dB of clipping distortion, the indicator light will be on. Setting the best recording level requires adjusting the channel volume knob to make the [PEAK] indicator light flash briefly. -
[ST PAN]: mono/stereo switch.
When channel 1 and 2 respectively input independent signals, it is necessary to switch to mono state ( ). When stereo signal is input, it is necessary to switch to stereo state ( ). At this time, channel 1 volume knob control the output level of left channel and channel 2 volume knob control the output level of right channel. -
[LEVEL]:
Channel volume control knob, which can control the channel output level and send it to [MAIN] mixed output. -
[MAIN]:
Adjust the signal level of the [MAIN OUTPUT] socket. -
[PHONES]:
Adjust the output level signal of the monitoring headphone socket. -
[+48V] indicator light.
The indicator lights up when the phantom power switch is turned on. -
Power indicator.
The power indicator lights up when the power supply is connected. -
Headphone monitoring socket.
For connecting a pair of 3.5 mm plugs of stereo headphones. -
[REC]: computer recording signal selection switch.
( ) When it pops up, the sound source recorded by the computer is the level signal output by channels 1 and 2. ( ) When it is pressed, the sound source recorded by the computer is a mixed signal (the level signal played by the computer + the level signal output by channels 1 and 2). -
Type B USB 2.0 port.
It is used to connect a computer to transfer data and provide power to the device at the same time.
Note: When connecting the computer, please pay attention to the following points – failure to do so may cause the computer to crash and cause data loss or destruction: If the mixer and computer crash, disconnect the devices by unplugging the cable from the computer, restart the application or computer, and then reconnect the cable to the computer. Wait at least 5 seconds between disconnecting/reconnecting the cable.
B. OPERATION
- Connect the mixer to the device of choice using the supplied USB cable, taking precautions. If the mixer is connected to a computer, the computer should automatically detect the device and install the drivers.
- The power indicator on the mixer will light up.
- The features of the mixer are described in the STRUCTURE AND FEATURES section.
- After using the mixer, disconnect it from the device of choice by pulling the plug of the USB power cable and taking precautions.
C. INFORMATION ABOUT USED ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
