PLEASE NOTE: Once the remote has been used, even in auto mode, the remote override the switch function selected on the light itself. To reset, switch the unit to OFF and then back to ON or AUTO mode This will need to be repeated after each remote use if you are wanting to be able to use the AUTO (Motion Senor) function.
How to use
The Light has 3 working modes. (AUTO – Motion Sensor, OFF & ON-stays on all the time)
- Remove plastic protective film from the top of the light.
- Pull out the plastic tab from the battery compartment, on the remote control.
- Slide the switch on the light to ON, the light will come on and stay on.
- Slide switch to OFF, to turn the light off.
- Slide switch to AUTO, to operate in the motion sensor mode. Light will work only in dark or shadowed/shaded areas. The light will turn on automatically when motion is detected within range. The light will turn off automatically after approximately 90 seconds, or when no motion is detected.
- Slide the switch to “OFF” to save battery power if you do not use the light for a long time.
- Select Light Color (Warm or Cool), by pressing the round button on the top of the light or on the remote control.
- Control the light brightness by using the remote control. Push the 30% button to reduce the light brightness and conserve battery life.
- Push the + or – to increase or decrease the desired brightness.
- Default brightness when turning on the light is at 100 % brightness.
How to use the timer function
The timer function only functions properly when the switch on the bottom of the light is in the ON position, do not use the timer in AUTO mode.
- Turn the switch on the bottom of the light to the ON position.
- Using the remote, push the button with the desired time to shut off (1 minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes, or 30 minutes)
- Light will blink twice letting you know the timer has been set to shut off in desired minutes selected.
- If you push the wrong desired time button, simply push the correct desired time button, and it will override the previous selection.
- To remove the timer function, turn the switch on the bottom of the light to OFF and then back to ON or AUTO.
How to charge the motion sensor-led cabinet light
Please use a 5V 1A power adapter and USB cord to charge the light, the
indicator turns red when the light is charging, and it turns green when the
light is fully charged.
How to install the under-cabinet light
- Stick it directly to any metal surface.
- Use a metal bracket with tape, to stick it anywhere you want.
