INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND INFORMATION ABOUT THE PRODUCT

You have made the right decision to purchase this product. Every part of your kitchenware underwent a check during the production process. The core body of the dishes is made by the technology of gravitation or pressure casting from the compound of aluminum, silicon and magnesium which ensures optimum distribution of heat evenly in the whole dish. The inner part of the pans is covered with a three-layer antiadhesive system with double inner reinforcement while the first and the second layer contains of particles of titanium ceramics which prevents damage of the pan thanks to toughness and resistance to abrasion. The bottoms of dishes are machined with special diamond tools in high revs. The bottom machined in this way ensures optimum transmission of heat between the heat source and food. Glass lids have strong shock resistance. The dish and the lid are equipped with a plastic handle (invalid type ETA 6907 and ETA 6908) which is resistant to the temperature of up to 260 °C, (for ETA 6915 the temperature of up to 130 °C).eta 6905 Titanium

Before the first use

Read the instructions for use carefully. For keeping the quality of the kitchenware, the following recommendations have to be complied with. Remove all packing material (including possible adhesive foil, adhesive labels, paper, etc.) from the surface and take out the kitchenware. Before the first use, wash the parts that will be in contact with food in hot water with detergent, rinse thoroughly with clean water and wipe till dry, or let dry. Fix the handle to the glass lid properly, see the figure. Use a napkin to spread fat or oil gently on the inner part, heat it lightly for about 3 to 5 minutes and wipe again after heating. Heat the dish thoroughly before each use for about 5 to 7 minutes to the temperature of 170 – 180 °C. To check the temperature we recommend carrying out a water test when you spray a few drops of water to the dish that shatters in the proper temperature, they start to pearl and evaporate quickly. Then the dish has the proper temperature; put in the ingredients that you want to cook, bake or fry. Do not touch the dish while using (except for plastic handles) because it is HOT! But if you use kitchenware in an oven (e. g. electric/gas/hot air), use protective gloves when handling it! Be especially careful and prevent children and incapable persons from touching the dish!

Use

The kitchenware can be use on any heat source – gas, electricity, ceramic hob. For gas we recommend using cast iron heat dispersing cooking plates for easier care for the silver bottom. After heating the dish to the proper temperature (170 – 180 °C, about 5 – 7 minutes, do the water test), put meat to the dish, fry it on the surface of a moment and then prepare the meat at the medium or lower temperature. You do not have to learn to cook in our kitchenware. You can cook in the way you are used to, you only learn how to operate the heat source. Do not overheat the kitchenware uselessly – you save energy and your own money! The big advantage of the dishes is that they do not absorb smells so you can cook, fry and bake in the same dish.

Maintenance

After cooking non-fatty food, all you have to do is to wipe the dish with a paper towel. Generally, there are three options for how to clean:

  1. Put cold water to the heated dish. Food residues will be released and washed away and you can then pour out the whole contents (so-called heat shock) = RECOMMENDED.
  2. Let the dish cool down a bit and wipe with a paper towel.
  3. Rinse the dish regularly with a liquid detergent suitable for dishwashing, you will avoid the accumulation of fat and baking residues. The dish can be washed in a dishwasher, but it is not recommended.

Warning
Use only round wooden, whole-plastic, and metal kitchenware. Never overburn empty dishes uselessly, the upper organic PTFE layer could get damaged (degraded). A big advantage of the pan is its resistance to adhesion to the surface so any force in cooking is not necessary.
Legislature
This is the basic information of how to use the kitchenware effectively. You do not need any special cookery books for the kitchenware. The main thing is to learn how to cook using heat regulation and with the minimum level of the source. The rest only depends on your rich imagination.
Environment
If the size of the appliance allows, all the parts contain marking of the materials used for product packaging, components and accessories as well as for recycling. Correct liquidation of the product helps to protect valuable natural resources and helps to prevent a potential negative impact on the environment and human health which can be the outcome of inappropriate liquidation of waste. More details can be obtained from your local authorities or the closest collection point. Inappropriate manipulation of such waste can result in a fine according to the national legislation.
Conformity
The product is in conformity with the European Parliament and European Committee Regulation No. 1935/2004/ES re. Materials and objects designed for contact with food. The manufacturer reserves the right for any insignificant deviations from the standard finished product that do not have any effect on the functioning of the product.
Guarantee does not apply to the following:

  • Damage of the plastic handle or the lid due to high temperature (over 260 °C, for ETA 6915 the temperature over 130 °C). E.g. in placing the handle close to a burner, a heating spiral, a tube wall, etc.
  • Damage of the surface (scratching, cutting) with a sharp metal tool (e.g. knife, fork) or damage of the surface (scratching) while using rough and aggressive detergents (e.g. caustic preparations for cleaning ovens) or damage of surface (by contusion) in careless handling (e.g. lid). These “marks” do not have any effect on the quality of the prepared food or the overall life of the pot, only the esthetic look is impaired,
  • Damage of the surface (burning) due to setting high temperature of the heat source,
  • Damage of the outer ground bottom due to high temperature of the heat source (e.g. by gas burner), i. e. not using the flame dispersion plate.

The purchaser was made familiar with the function and handling the product. The product was tested before dispatching from the production plant. The producer guarantees that the product will keep the properties specified in the respective technical standards for the whole guarantee period under the condition that the customer uses it in the way described in the instructions for use.
