  • Remove all the packing material and take out the appliance. Remove all possible adhesion foils, stick–labels, or paper from the appliance.
  • Place the appliance on a suitable flat and dry surface. Leave free space for due ventilation.
  • Vents in the appliance ensure air circulation during ventilation and they must not be covered or blocked in another way.
  • Make sure that the power cord is not damaged and that it does not lead to any sharp or hot surfaces.
  • The electric socket must be easily accessible so that the appliance can be easily disconnected from the power supply if danger appears.

INSTALLATION AND POSITION OF THE APPLIANCE

  • Place the appliance on a flat surface in a well-ventilated room. Avoid direct sunshine, and observe a minimum distance of 30 cm from back and side walls or other obstacles.
  • Observe the instructions provided in the Safety section.
  • RH indication levels (RH = Relative humidity)
  • The appliance shows 3 basic colors indicating RH level.
  • Blue RH < 45%
  • Green 45 % ≤ RH ≤ 65 %
  • Red   RH > 65 %

Remarks related to the functioning of the appliance

  • The functional principle of the appliance consists of the circulation of air in the cooling circuit, where condensation of air humidity and its drainage into the condensed water tank occurs.
  • Compressor dehumidifiers are most efficient at higher ambient temperatures (approx. 30 °C). The lower the ambient temperature, the lower the dehumidification efficiency.
  • In the standard household, the appliance should be used at 22 – 25 °C or higher temperatures.
  • Therefore, it is advisable to combine drying with air heating in the event of increased dehumidification requirements (e.g. using a hot air fan, which will increase the temperature and, at the same time, air circulation intensity).
  • Optimum air humidity in summer ranges from 40 – 55 % and in winter 45 – 60 %.

AUTOMATIC DEFROSTING „NO FROST“

  • The appliance has an automatic defrosting function which turns off the compressor during operation and activates the highest fan speed for 10 minutes.
  • Indicator lamp B2 will be flashing in the defrosting mode.

The following conditions are relevant for this function:

  • A. At ambient temperature <5 °C or >35 °C, the compressor stops and the fan will be switched off after 30 seconds.
  • B. At ambient temperature 5 – 35 °C:
  • the defrosting function will be activated at temperatures 5 – 10 °C and also continual compressor operation for 30 minutes.
  • the defrosting function will be activated at temperatures 11 – 18 °C and also continual compressor operation for 45 minutes
  • At current temperatures > 18 °C, the compressor runs continuously, no defrosting occurs.

Remarks

  • When defrosting is complete, the appliance will continue to operate as set.
  • The defrosting process should not be interrupted! In case of interruption, the following shall apply:
  • if the appliance will be switched off and on within 5 minutes, the defrosting process will be deactivated;
  • if the appliance is switched off (or if condensed water vessel A3 is full) and also after 5 minutes of the defrosting time, the defrosting process will be resumed, provided the appliance is switched on (or condensed water vessel A3 drained) within 30 minutes.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
