INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Dear customer, thank you for purchasing our product. Keep these instructions including the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.

SAFETY WARNING

  • Consider the instructions for use as a part of the appliance and pass them on to any other user of the appliance.
  • Check whether the data on the type label corresponds with the voltage in your socket. The power cord plug may only be connected to the electrical socket complying with the applicable standards.
  • This appliance may only be used by children aged 8 years or older, and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Children younger than 8 years must be kept out of reach of the appliance and its power cord.
  • For additional protection, install current protection (RCD) with the nominal release current not exceeding 30 mA. Ask a revision technician or an electrician for advice.
  • Never use the appliance if the power cord or power plug are damaged, if the appliance is not correctly operating or if it has fallen on the floor and been damaged, or if it has fallen into water. In such cases take the appliance to a professional service centre to verify its safety and correct function.
  • If the power cord of the appliance is corrupted, it has to be replaced by the manufacturer, its service technician or a similarly qualified person so as to prevent dangerous situations.
  • WARNING: In order to prevent overheating, never cover the appliance and the air inlets/outlets to avoid fire hazard.
  • Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
  • Children under 3 years of age must be kept away from the appliance unless they are constantly supervised.
  • Before exchanging any accessories or accessible parts that are moving during use, before assembly and disassembly, before cleaning and maintenance or after finishing the work, switch off the appliance and disconnect it from mains by unplugging the power cord plug from the electrical socket!
  • NOTE: Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
  • Do not place the appliance under electrical socket. Do not place the appliance in the room corner, but at least 15 cm from the left/ right wall, at least 15 cm from the rear wall, and at least 100 cm from items made from flammable materials (in the air outlet direction – hot air flow).
  • Do not use the appliance in bathrooms in zones 0, 1 and 2 (Fig. 2)! It must not be used in a close proximity of bathtub, shower or swimming pool.
  • ATTENTION: Do not use this heater in series with an external timer, remote controller or any other device that switches on the appliance automatically, since a fire risk exists when the heater is accidentally covered or displaced at the moment it switches on.
  • The appliance must not be immersed in water or other liquids (not even partially)! If the appliance falls in water, do not take it from the water!First disconnect the power cord plug from the electrical socket, and then take out the appliance from the water. In such cases, bring the appliance to a specialised service centre to verify its safety and proper operability.
  • Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
  • Do not plug the power cord in the electrical socket and do not unplug it with wet hands or by pulling the power cord!
  • The appliance must not be used in a damp or wet environment and in any environment with the danger of fire or explosion (premises where chemicals, fuels, oils, gases, paints and other flammable or volatile materials are stored).
  • Only use the appliance in the working position at places with no risk of overturning and in a sufficient distance from other objects (such as curtains, drapes, etc.), heat sources (e.g. fireplace, heater, stove, cooker, radiators, hot air ovens, grills) and wet surfaces (e. g. sinks, wash basins).
  • Make sure that no impurities get inside the appliance (e.g. dust clouds, hairs etc.). If impurities are sucked and settle inside the appliance, clean it (see article IV. MAINTENANCE).
  • Do not put the switched on fan on soft surfaces (e.g. on a bed, towels, wipers, carpets).
  • This appliance is not intended for outdoor use.
  • The appliance is equipped with a thermal cut-out that will interrupt power supply (to the fan heating spirals), if the appliance dangerously overheats. If overheating occurs, switch off the appliance, disconnect it from the power supply, remove any obstacles preventing the air flow, and let the appliance cool down for about 10 minutes. If the cut-out occurred for reasons other than air flow reduction (e.g. motor bearing is seized), have the appliance repaired by a specialised service centre.
  • Do not modify the appliance surface in any manner (e.g. by self-adhesive wallpapers, foils, etc.)!
  • When handling the appliance, avoid causing any injury (e.g. burns).
  • Before every connection or disconnection of the appliance from power supply make sure that switch A1 is in 0 position.
  • Do not place any device with open flame in the air flow coming out from the appliance because of danger of burning process interruption.
  • Never expose yourself (or animals) to the air flow for an extended period of time. It may cause health problems.
  • Only use original components designed for this type.
  • Never put fingers or other objects into inlet and outlet holes of the fan.
  • If the battery is leaking, remove it immediately; it can damage the scale.
  • Dispose of a discharged battery in a suitable way (see par. V. ENVIRONMENT).
  • Keep battery out of reach of children and incapacitated people. A person, who would swallow the battery, must seek medical help immediately.
  • Check the condition of the power cord of the appliance regularly.
  • Never put the power cord on hot surfaces and never let it hang over table edge or worktop edge. If the cord is caught or pulled, e.g. by children, the appliance may overturn and fall down, causing a serious injury!
  • Avoid winding the power cord around the appliance, otherwise the power cord service life would be reduced.
  • If you need to use an extension cord for justified reasons, it must be undamaged and comply with the applicable standards.
  • Only use this appliance for the purpose it was designed for, as specified in this manual. Never use the appliance for any other purpose.
  • WARNING: There is a risk of injury when the appliance is not used correctly (not in accordance with the manual).
  • All texts in foreign languages and pictures shown on the packaging or the product itself, are translated and explained at the end of this language mutation.
  • The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for any damage caused by improper handling of the appliance and its accessories (e.g. electric shock, fire), and the appliance guarantee will become void if any of the aforementioned safety instructions are not observed.

DESCRIPTION OF THE APPLIANCE (Fig. 1)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Remove all the packing material and take out the ventilator. Remove all possible adhesion foils, stick-on labels or paper from the appliance. Place the ventilator on a suitable place. Plug power cord connector A3 to an electric socket. Set main switch A1 to „I”. Audio signal will be heard and „–” will appear on the display B7 to indicate that the device is in standby mode and ready for operation.

Inserting the battery to remote control (C)
Insert the battery into the remote control as shown on fig. 1 (battery type: 1x 3v CR2025; included). Observe correct polarity.

| Press repeatedly to set the temperature. Six temperature values can be set: 10 °C, 15 °C, 20 °C, 23 °C, 27 °C and 30 °C. Set temperature (e.g. “ 23 “).will be displayed on B7.

| This button is used for switching on/off heating and adjustment of the heating intensity. Set mode is displayed on B7 :

1st pressing “ H0 ” – heating is off, only the fan is active; 2ns pressing “ H1 ” – heating is on, low intensity (1350 W); 3rd pressing “ H2 ” – heating is on, high intensity (2000 W).

| Switching on/off B7 display backlight and adjustment of backlight intensity. Three intensity levels can be set:

1st pressing – medium backlight level; 2nd pressing – low backlight level; 3rd pressing – backlight off;

4th pressing – high backlight level.

  • The buttons on the LED control panel are marked B1-B6 , the buttons on the remote control are marked C1-C6. Their function is the same, i. e. B1 function corresponds to C1 function etc.

Remarks

  • In the standby mode, only B1/C1 buttons can be pressed. As soon as the device is in operation, individual functions can be activated.
  • A beep will be heard after pressing each button.

MEMORY
The device has a memory for the case of power off (or power loss). Hence, the last setting will be stored and reactivated after switching on.

SAFETY SWITCHING OFF
Safety disconnector A4 is provided in the bottom of the body, causing power supply interruption in case of overturning/lifting up the device during operation.

MAINTENANCE

Turn off the appliance before any maintenance, unplug the fork of the power cord from the power supply socket and let it cool down! Do not use rough and aggressive detergents! Carry out surface maintenance only (wipe off dust etc.)

For removing old dust or other impurities, use a soft damp cloth. Cleaning dust and impurities settled inside the ventilator can be made by their vacuuming or blowing out. Store the cooled down appliance at a safe and dry place, out of reach of children and incapacitated people.

Expert service must do the large maintenance or to intervene into inside parts of the appliance! Non-observance of the instructions of the manufacturer cancels the right for guarantee repair!

ENVIRONMENT
Printed signs of materials used for manufacture, packing, components and accessories, as well as their recycling, are on all the pieces if their dimensions enable it. The symbols on the product or in the accompanying documentation mean that the used electric or electronic products must not be disposed together with municipal wastes. Please, hand them over to the collection points designed for their correct disposal, where they will be accepted free of charge. By correct disposal of this product you can help to preserve valuable natural resources and help to prevent possible negative impacts to the environment and to human health, which could be the results of incorrect waste disposal. For further details ask the municipal authorities or the nearest collecting point. Penalties can be charged for incorrect disposal of such wastes, according to national regulations. If the appliance is to be put out of operation definitely, we recommend cutting off the feeder cable, to disable its use. Remove flat batteries from the appliance and dispose them off in a suitable way using special collection centres. Do not incinerate the batteries!
