INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Dear customer, thank you for purchasing our product. Keep these instructions including the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.

SAFETY WARNING

  • Before the first use, read the instructions for use carefully, look at the picture and store the instructions for use for the future. Consider the instructions for use as a part of the appliance and pass them on to any other user of the appliance.
  • Check whether the data on the type label correspond with the voltage in your socket. The power cord plug has to be connected to the properly connected and grounded socket according to the national standard.
  • This product can be used by children at the age of 8 years and older if they are supervised or if they were instructed regarding use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand possible risks. User cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children if they are younger than 8 year and unsupervised. Children younger than 8 years must be kept out of reach of the appliance and its power cord.
  • The device may be used by persons with reduced physical or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge only if they are under supervision or they have been instructed about using the appliance safely and understand the potential dangers.
  • Children must not play with the appliance.
  • Use the electric kettle with the stand designed for this type only.
  • Never immerse the electric kettle and the stand in water and other liquids (even partially)!
  • If the power cord of the appliance is corrupted, it has to be replaced by the manufacturer, its service technician or a similarly qualified person so as to prevent dangerous situations.
  • Never use the appliance if its power cord or plug is damaged, if it does not work properly, if it fell down and was damaged or if it fell to water. In this case take the appliance to a special service to check its safety and proper function.
  • The electric kettle is intended for heating the maximum of 1.5 l of water. If the water level exceeds the maximum recommended amount, hot water may be splashing out.
  • WARNING: Do not open the lid if the water is boiling or if it is hot.
  • CAUTION: Do not use the appliance with a program, time switch or any other part that turns the appliance on automatically as there is a risk of fire if the appliance is not covered or placed properly.
  • When the appliance is in operation, prevent pets, plants or insects to get in contact with it.
  • Do not plug the fork of the supply cord into the power outlet and do not unplug the cord with wet hands or by pulling by the supply cord!
  • This appliance is not intended for outdoor use.
  • The appliance is intended for home use and similar (in shops, offices and similar workplaces, guests in hotels, motels and other residential environments, in facilities providing accommodation with breakfast, in agriculture). It is not intended for commercial use!
  • Never leave the appliance unsupervised and check it during the whole time of water heating!
  • Use the electric kettle with the stand designed for this type only and only for its intended purpose.
  • Do not place any objects on the appliance.
  • The electric kettle cannot be used for heating other liquids than water! Never insert into the kettle tea bags, tea leaves or any other ingredients for the beverage!
  • Use the appliance in the working position only at places with no risk of turning over and in sufficient distance from heat sources (e.g. heater, stove, cooker, oven, grill), flammable objects (e.g. curtains, drapes, etc.) and wet surfaces (e.g. sinks, wash basins, etc.).
  • Do not place the appliance near objects or under objects which could get damaged by steam, e.g. walls, kitchen cupboards, sideboards, paintings, or curtains. Leaking steam could damage them. Never place the kettle on the cooker, etc.
  • Do not use the appliance in an environment saturated with explosive or flammable steams.
  • Thanks to double layer technology, the most of the outer surface of the electric kettle is insulated against hear. Therefore, you can touch it with your hand, even after boiling. Nevertheless, avoid contact with the outlet of the kettle during and after boiling and watch for the steam escaping from the kettle!
  • There must be water in the electric kettle before putting into operation. Do not fill the electric kettle with water if it is on the stand.
  • Before switching on the kettle ensure that the water level is between MIN and MAX marks.
  • Prevent injuries when handling (e.g. by hot water, steam). Pour the water at a slight angle.
  • If you are not going to use the electric kettle for longer time, we recommend unplugging the stand from power supply by taking the fork of the power cord out of the socket.
  • The appliance is equipped with the heat safety lock which disconnects power supply if the steam sensor fails, if water boils away or if an empty kettle is turned on. If it happens, unplug the appliance from power supply and let it cool down. Do not fill the kettle with cold water in order to cool it down quickly. It could reduce life of the heating element.
  • Never put the power cord on hot surfaces or do not let it hang over the edge of a table or a work top. Plugging or pulling the power cord e.g. by children can result in tilting over or drawing the appliance down and serious injury!
  • The power cord must not be damaged with sharp or hot objects, open fire, it must not be sunk into water or bent over sharp edges.
  • Use this appliance only for the purpose for which it was designed as specified in this user‘s manual. Never use the appliance for any other purpose.
  • The producer is not responsible for damage caused by improper use of the appliance (e.g. burning, scalding, fire) and its guarantee for the appliance does not apply to situations when the safety warnings above are not complied with.

  • The control electronics ensures the appliance turns off automatically after the set temperature or boil of water has been reached.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Fill the kettle with clean cold water up to max., turn it on and let the water boil before first use.
Then Pour the water out and repeat the process several times (at least five times).

USE
Insert the plug of the power supply into the electrical outlet plugs. Open the lid A3 by pressing the lock button A4 and fill the kettle with drinking water. The minimum and maximum amount of water is marked on the watermark A2. Then close the lid by snapping. Place the filled teapot on the base, sound signal will be given, signal lamps over B5 and B6 will flash once, and water temperature will be displayed on B4.

A) Water heating to 100°C
Press the B1 button to switch on the heating (the display flashes the number 100 twice and the B5 light lights up). When the water reaches the boiling point, the heating is switched off (the beep sounds 2 times) and the kettle switches to standby mode. The display shows the current water temperature. After 20 minutes of inactivity, the kettle switches off automatically (the display goes out).

B) Water heating to a temperature of 40 – 90°C
Press to switch B3 to select the desired heating temperature (in the following sequence: 40-50-6070-80-90 °C). The selected value is shown on display B4 and the corresponding value on flashes for a few moments – it will then stay lit current temperature water. Press B1 to switch and heating will start. The display shows the current water temperature during heating and the B5 light lights up. As soon as the water reaches the desired temperature, the heating will automatically turn off (you will hear two short signal sounds), and the stand-by mode
on the kettle. After 20 minutes of inactivity, the kettle switches off automatically (the display goes out).
Always use fresh drinking water for boiling. The temperature and time heating depends on the amount of water and the initial temperature of water. For the correct temperature  setting, follow the manufacturers‘ instructions that are described on food packages (e.g. tea, coffee, instant drinks, soaps, etc.).

  • 40 °C = infant formula milk,
  • 50 °C = baby foods,
  • 60 °C = hot beverages,
  • 70 °C = green tea,
  • 80 °C = white teas,
  • 90 °C = oolong teas, coffee, instant drinks, soups,
  • 100 °C = black, herbal teas.

ATTENTION

  • Recommendation: If you are not using the kettle, do not place it on the stand connected to the electrical outlet sewing.

Note

  • If you are heating the water to a lower temperature (40 – 70 °C), it is advisable to have at least 0.7 l of water in the kettle to more accurately reach the selected temperature. With a lower amount, the water temperature may exceed the temperature you have set.
  • Without the kettle on the base, the electronic control does not respond.
  • If you set the heating temperature lower than the current water temperature, the kettle will turn off.
  • If you are preparing food for small children (e.g. at 40 °C), you must first boil the water to 100 °C.
  • The temperature sensor is located in the lower part of the kettle and due to the different temperatures at the bottom and at the surface, the temperature is displayed with a certain tolerance.
  • After approx. 20 min. of inactivity, the kettle switches to sleep mode (the display turns off). Press B1 or B3 to wake up. Standby mode (i.e. sleep) cannot be activated by any buttons.
    WARNING: If the kettle is switched off and the B2 button is pressed, the reheat function is immediately activated (to the temperature that was last set), with subsequent maintenance of this temperature.

KEEP WARM
Press to switch B3 to select the desired heating temperature (40-50-60-70-80-90 °C) in the classic way. Press B2 to switch and the heating

  • the KEEP WARM function will start. The B5 and B6 icons will on lit. After preset temperature has been reached, sound signal will be given and the maintaining temperature function will be activated automatically (display shows the water temperature and signal lamp B6 will light continuously). This function will remain active for approx. 2 hours, then the device will be switched off automatically (sound signal will be given). After 20 minutes of inactivity, the kettle switches off automatically (the display goes out).

Memory (for Keep Warm function)
The electric kettle is equipped with memory function. It can be used if the kettle has been switched on and the Keep Warm function active. If the kettle will be removed from its base in the Keep Warm mode, it will continue keeping the temperature. If the water temperature with the range of ± 5 °C of choosed temperature. Reminder: There is no memory function under cooking mode.

Note

  • If you set a lower temperature than the current temperature and the KEEP WARM function is active, the kettle will maintain the temperature at the set value (ie. two short signal sounds, the appropriate signal light indicator B6 will start flashing. The kettle wait until the water temperature drops to this value and continue to maintain it).
  • Water heating, including the KEEP WARM function, can be interrupted at any time by pressing button B1 or B2 or by lifting the kettle from the base.

MAINTENANCE

Unplug the appliance from power supply by taking the fork of the power cord out of the socket! Clean the kettle only when it is cooled down!
Do not use rough and aggressive detergents (e.g. sharp objects, scrapers, diluting agents or other solvents)! The housing of the kettle is made of high- quality plastic, the heating bottom and inner surface of the kettle are made of high-quality stainless steel, however, a slight sediment (scale) during standard use /particularly, above the heating element/ cannot be avoided. It is not rust or another material defect of the kettle container and the appliance is not subject to a complaint for this reason.

Cleaning the kettle
Pour about 50 g citric acid to the kettle with the water scale sediment. Fill the kettle to about one half and mix. After it dissolves, fill the kettle to 3/4 of the maximum amount of water. Place the electric kettle on the stand and turn it on. Before boiling, turn off the kettle, let the solution take effect for about 10 minutes and then pour it out. Clean the kettle thoroughly with clean water. Repeat the whole procedure if the kettle is too soiled. Clean the electric kettle regularly! Do not use vinegar.

Expert service must do the large maintenance or to intervene into inside parts of the appliance! Non-observance of the instructions of the manufacturer cancels the right for repair!

By correct disposal of this product you can help to preserve valuable natural resources and help to prevent possible negative impacts to the environment and to human health, which could be the results of incorrect waste disposal. For further details ask the municipal authorities or the nearest collecting point. Penalties can be charged for incorrect disposal of such wastes, according to national regulations. If the appliance is to be put out of operation definitely, we recommend cutting off the feeder cable, to disable its use.
