HOMELINK L444 Solar Sphere Light
INTRODUCTION
The Solar Sphere Light is perfect for adding a burst of colour and ambience to your garden or livening up your entertainment area. With both colour and white light options, as well as the ability to control the light wirelessly through the included infrared remote, your Solar Sphere Light will be ready for any occasion.

LIGHTING MODES
The Solar Sphere Light includes 4 lighting modes and 16 colour options (
please note the four lighting modes will cycle through all available colours,
while selecting a single colour option will only display that colour ):
- Flash
- Strobe
- Fade
- Smooth
OPERATING THE LIGHT
STEP ONE: Turn on the light
When first removed from the box, the light will need to be turned on. Press
and hold the ‘ON/OFF’ button located on the base of the light for 3 seconds.
This will activate the light. To turn the light off, hold down the ‘ON/OFF’
button for another 3 seconds. Once activated, you can operate the light with
the remote. The light has a built-in intelligent light sensor, which detects
darkness, automatically illuminating at dusk and turning off at dawn.
STEP TWO: Select your lighting mode
To switch lighting modes, you can use the supplied remote or press the
‘ON/OFF’ button on the base of the light. This will cycle through the modes.

Placing the light
Simply place the light in the desired location. Be mindful that the solar panel needs access to direct sunlight to charge. The solar panel is located inside the Solar Sphere Light. -

Ground spike
Insert the ground spike into the base of the Solar Globe Light. Then, push into the ground.

Once the light has been turned on with the ‘ON/OFF’ button on the base, you
can now use the remote to control the lights. The infrared remote has a range
of up to 5m and must be pointed at the solar light to work effectively.
To switch the light off completely, press the black ‘OFF’ button located at
the top right of the remote. This will fully switch the light off to no longer
automatically turn on at dusk. To switch the light back on, press the red ‘ON’
button located next to the ‘OFF’ button in the top right of the remote. This
will turn the light back on and it will continue to light up at dusk and
switch off at dawn automatically.
The ‘ON’ and ‘OFF’ buttons allow you to switch the light on and off without
needing to pick up the light.
You can adjust the brightness of the lights with the two buttons located on
the top left of the remote. To change the colour of the light, simply select
the desired colour button on the remote. To change the function of the light,
select between ‘Flash’, ‘Strobe’, ‘Fade’ or ‘Smooth’ on the right-hand side of
the remote.
The remote comes with a 3-volt CR2025 button battery included. To replace the
remote’s battery, undo the screw on the back of the remote. Once undone, hold
in the side clip on the battery compartment and pull to remove it. Swap the
batteries and return the compartment to the remote, then tighten the screw
back into place. Dispose of the used battery correctly and safely.

WARNING : KEEP BUTTON BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN
- These batteries can cause severe or fatal injuries in 2 hours or less, due to chemical burns and potential perforation of the esophagus, if it is swallowed or placed inside any part of the body.
- Never allow children to replace the button batteries in any device.
- If it is suspected a button/coin battery has been swallowed or otherwise placed inside any part of the body, a person should contact the Australian Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 immediately for 24/7 fast, expert advice.
- Regularly examine devices and make sure the battery compartment is correctly secured, e.g. that the screw or other mechanical fastener is tightened. Do not use if compartment is not secure.
- Dispose of used button batteries immediately and safely out of reach of children. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer power the device.
- Tell others about the risk associated with button batteries and how to keep their children safe.
