Product Usage Instructions

1. Important Battery Information:
   • Batteries should be replaced by an adult.
   • Do not mix old batteries and new batteries or standard (carbon-zinc) with alkaline batteries.
   • Remove exhausted or dead batteries from the product.
   • Remove batteries if the product is not to be played with for a long time.
   • Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
   • Rechargeable batteries: Do not mix these with any other types of batteries. Always remove from the product before recharging. Recharge batteries under adult supervision. DO NOT RECHARGE OTHER TYPES OF BATTERIES.
   • If this product causes or is affected by local electrical interference, move it away from other electrical equipment.
   • Reset (switching off and back on again or removing and re-inserting batteries) if necessary.
2. Battery Disposal:

This product and its batteries must be disposed of separately at your local waste recycling center. Do not dispose of them in your household waste bin.

3. Insert 4 fresh AA BATTERIES and SCREW THE COVER BACK ON.

5. Don’t forget the hidden battery!

7. PRESS FURBY’S HEART GEM!
8. Say HEY FURBY!
9. WAIT for FURBY to respond. FURBY’S EARS will GLOW GREEN and you’ll HEAR A CHIME.
10. When the HEART GEM AND EARS CHANGE TO WHITE, that means FURBY
    is LISTENING. Now you can SAY ONE OF THESE COMMANDS:

  * DANCE PARTY
  * LET’S CHILL
  * FURHEBYY!

3. Unlocking Features:

Tap on Furby to play peaceful music and guide you through Furby’s head to skip songs or tap the tummy to repeat calm exercises or cheer you up with positive sayings.

Retain this information for future reference. Batteries should be replaced by an adult.

FIRST TIME
FURBY SETUP:

3. Press the HEART GEM and FURBY will tell you what to do next!

START HERE

1. PRESS FURBY’S HEART GEM!
2. Say “HEY FURBY!”
3. WAIT for FURBY to respond. FURBY’S EARS will GLOW GREEN and you’ll HEAR A CHIME.
4. When the HEART GEM AND EARS CHANGE TO WHITE, that means FURBY is LISTENING.

Now you can SAY ONE OF THESE COMMANDS:

• “DANCE PARTY”
  Unlock songs, a freeze dance game, and more! Tap on Furby’s head to skip songs or tap the tummy to repeat.

• “COPY CAT”
  Furby will wait 6 seconds to hear you say something,  then say it back with silly voice effects. Tap the head to change voices and tap the tummy to repeat.

• “TELL MY FORTUNE”
  CRYSTAL FURBALL MODE: Rub the tummy for happy words of wisdom. Shake to switch to Magic Furball mode. MAGIC FURBALL MODE: Ask a question and shake Furby for an answer.

• “LET’S CHILL”
  Furby will play peaceful music and guide you through calm exercises or cheer you up with positive sayings. Tap on Furby’s head to explore the different routines.

• “LIGHT SHOW
  Make Furby’s ears light up for 10 minutes! Tap the head to see different color patterns. Touch the tummy for special light effects. Furby will wait 6 seconds to hear you say something.

Try each mode again and again to discover more amazing things FURBY can say and do!

HELPFUL HINTS

Speak clearly and say ONLY ONE command at a time.
Press the heart gem and say “Hey Furby!” again to change modes. Remember to WAIT FOR FURBY TO RESPOND before you say your next command.

You’ll UNLOCK MORE phrases, songs, and activities the more you play. FURBY will let you know when you’ve UNLOCKED something!
Make sure you’re in a QUIET PLACE. FURBY reacts to noise and music!

FURBY DOES NOT RESPOND TO FURBISH

POWER OFF

TIPS & TROUBLESHOOTING

I SAID A COMMAND, BUT FURBY WON’T DO IT.

• Try again: press the heart gem button, say “Hey Furby!”, and repeat the command.
• WAIT FOR FURBY TO RESPOND to “Hey Furby” before you say the command.
• It may be too noisy where you are. Move to a quieter place.
• Turn Furby off and back on again.

FURBY’S FUR GOT DIRTY.

• Gently wipe it down with a damp cloth, but don’t let it get wet! Furby doesn’t like water.

FURBY WON’T TURN ON OR DOESN’T SOUND RIGHT.

• Make sure you have fresh batteries. You won’t lose the fun things you unlocked when you change the batteries.

FULL RESET:
Turn Furby upside down. Press and hold both the mouth and heart gem at the same time for over 5 seconds. You will see the ears flash red and hear a beep.
